(Dan's Pov)

We road home and she was all that was on my mind. Why was she dressed that way, and where was she going? Honestly I hope she's ok. "Hey when we get home you get to tell the professor what happened," Logan said loud enough for the wind not to drown him out. "Ok," I said as I looked ahead.

I wanted towards the professors room when Kurt appeared in front of me and we collided. "Sorry Dan I was trying to get away from Kitty," he chuckled helping me up. "Why," I asked dusting myself off. "She wants my help with homework, but I'm not that cutout be a teacher. Jean and Scott are busy with a mission," he smiled. "Oh. Well I have to talk to the professor," I smiled. "Why," he asked curiously. "Well I kinda let a student he wanted to come here get away. She didn't want to come and I didn't feel right in forcing her. I hope she's ok. She's all I can think about," I said depressingly. "Sounds like you're in love," Kitty giggled. We were a little startled to see her face coming through the wall.

"I'm not in love," I replied as my cheeks flared up. "Now that you mention it, it sound like you're a little smitten with her," Kurt smirked. "I'm not," I protested. "Don't worry, kitty's smitten with someone on the other side too," Kurt chuckled. "Hey we're just friends,"  she snapped. "Sure," Kurt laughted before he disappeared. "Hey! My homework!," she yelled. "I gotta go," I smiled as I tried to get away. "Oh no you don't! I need help and your gunna help me," she snapped grabbing my collar.

Without realizing I burst into flames. She backed up. "Sorry!" I yelled trying to turn it off. Suddenly I felt wet, I looked up to see a small storm cloud putting me out. "I thought I smelled something burning," Storm chuckled. "Sorry I was startled," I laughed nervously. "It's perfectly alright," she smiled back. "Anyway I have to speak with the professor," I said taking my leave. "Fine," sighed Kitty walking back through the wall to find Kurt.

I saw the professor with Scott and Jean outside. They must have just got back from their mission. I walked up to them quickly. "Dan I'm glad you're here. I think we have a visitor," professor smiled. I looked to see that girl! She was keeping her distance behind a tree.

(Normal Pov)

"Let me talk to her," smiled Jean. "I think it'd be best if Dan talk to her," smiled the professor. "Why me," asked Dan. "Something tells me she came for you," he smiled. Dan lightly blushed as he slowly walked up to her. (Y/n) paused, she didn't see him as a threat but she still had caution. "Look at this school, we are taught how to control out power and use it for good. I won't hurt you," Dan smiled as he approached her. "Stay back, I don't trust you," she growled. "Well I trust you," he smiled and she blushed. She dropped her guard and became a little flustered. "So who are you," she spoke softly. "My name is Dan Howell, and you," he asked. "My name is (Y/n)... I still won't go with you, I'm not the type of person people want to hang around with," she sighed. "And why is that," he asked.

"My powers are growing and I hurt too many people. Half of those people I wish they didn't know me so I couldn't have hurt them in the first place. My family...my friends," (Y/n)'s voice hitched. "That bad Hu? I went though something similar... It sucks but that's the beauty of this school! Everyone is like you, your not alone anymore," smiled Dan. (Y/n) tilted her head. She was pondering.... Could she do it? "So I can leave at any time," she asked. Dan smiled, "yeah."
