“Dead body? Everyone just stormed outside!” Jin exclaimed, his voice trembling as he knelt beside Kai, shaking him. “Kai... what happened?”
“Mom...,” Jimin called out to Jooni, his voice shaky. “Dad’s... illegal relationship... he said…”
“What?” Jooni shouted, eyes wide with disbelief.
“I think he committed suicide in front of our house after finding out Dad has a family!” Hoseok blurted out.
“I regret not using protection…” Jin muttered, glaring at his sons. “This is my friend Kai… That boy—uh, what’s his name? Tae’s boy… Jungkook! His father…”
“Really? Then throw this body into the ocean,” Tae said nonchalantly.
“Guys… he’s not dead,” Yoongi interjected, restoring some sanity. “If we don’t take him to the hospital now, he will die.”
“Yes, help me pick him up,” Jin said, springing into action.
“I won’t touch him. That bunny kid will say , i misbehave with his father,” Tae shrugged, still unbothered.
“Tae, don’t make me slap you!” Jooni snapped. “I said, carry him! I’ll get the car.”
“Do you want everyone admitted to the hospital?” Lisa frowned. “I’ll take the car.”
With that, Jin and Tae awkwardly hoisted Kai into the car. “Jooni, take those little troublemakers with you before they blow up the house,” Jin said, pointing to Hobi and Minni.
“Right,” Jooni nodded, turning to Hobi and Minni. “Get in the car. Now.”
“I’m coming too,” Yoongi muttered, scratching his head. “I want to see Dad get arrested for killing his best friend.” He followed them, shaking his head in disbelief.

“What happened to him?” the doctor asked, eyeing the small family gathered around.
“Suicide,” Jimin blurted out.
“No, he fell,” Jin quickly corrected.
“His son killed him and dumped him in front of our house,” Tae shrugged, completely unbothered.
“I think he came to attack our family and just fell asleep out there,” Hoseok chimed in with his own wild theory.
“Maybe he was drunk and mistook our house for his,” Yoongi suggested, trying to be reasonable.
“ he has Alzheimer’s and forgot where he lives,” Lisa added, her voice thoughtful.
“He’s Jin’s best friend. Maybe he came to visit Jin and just passed out on our doorstep,” Joon argued, trying to make sense of it all.
“Bitches! I got an electric shock!” Kai shot up from the bed, before promptly collapsing back onto the bed.
The doctor stared at Kai, then at the family, his eyes wide with disbelief. Seven pairs of eyes turned to Kai, but six of them quickly shifted to glare at Hoseok, who immediately looked down, avoiding their gaze.
“Let me check him,” the doctor said, shaking his head as he wheeled Kai to the observation room.

“If you touch that repair box again, I’ll cut your hands off!” Joon scolded his son.
“I’m gonna touch it,” Hoseok pouted defiantly.
“How many times have I told you to call an electrician?” Joon glared at Jin.
“I didn’t know he was coming over,” Jin shrugged.
“Dad, I need your phone,” Yoongi interrupted, approaching them.
“Here,” Jin handed over his phone, watching as Yoongi began searching.
“What are you looking for?”
“ bar near hospital,” Yoongi replied, earning a slap. “Thanks,” he said, handing the phone back before joining his siblings.
“Tae,” Jin called out, “you and Lisa go to Kai’s house and bring them here.”
“I’m not going. I don’t want to see that face again,” Tae huffed.
“Tae,” Joon stepped in, his tone firm, “go. Lisa, go with him. Now.”
Tae gritted his teeth. “Fine.” He stormed outside.
“I’ll send you the address,” Jin added.
“Yeah, sure,” Lisa nodded.
Once they arrived at Kai’s house, Lisa turned to Tae. “Tae, don’t tell them directly. They’ll panic. Okay?”
“I’m older and more mature than you. I know what to do,” Tae glared at her before marching up to the door and ringing the bell.
“You…” Jungkook’s eyes narrowed as he saw Tae standing there.
“Your father died. If you want to see him, come with us,” Tae said flatly.
“Excuse me?” Lisa gaped at her brother in disbelief. “Look, he’s not dead yet! He’s… well, he’s close, but—no, that’s not what I meant!” she fumbled, trying to explain.
Before she could say more, Jungkook fainted, collapsing against Tae’s chest.
“Called it,” Tae sighed. “Help me pick him up.” Together, they carried Jungkook to the car.
“What? Kidnapping? My son!” Soo screamed, running after them, but the car sped off before he could catch up. “My son! Hello, police? A boy and a girl kidnapped my son! Car number…” He frantically gave the car’s details before collapsing to the ground. “My baby Kooki!” he cried, clutching his chest in despair.
