I woke up, and my eyes slowly opened as I felt a warmth next to me. I look over and see Lapis snuggled into me. I smile to myself as I shut my eyes back closed, relishing in her touch. Wait.....am I naked? I open my eyes again and realize that we're both naked as I felt my bare skin against Lapis's. I then remembered the events of last night and I felt a slight blush on my face. I pulled the sheets up over us a little more due to the cold air hitting the upper half of our bodies.

Lapis was still sound asleep, and I was a little drowsy too, so I decided to close my eyes and sleep in a little more. About 5 minutes later, when I was about to fall asleep, a knock at the door startled me awake again. Lapis's eyes slowly opened as well, and she looked over at the door. An Amethyst then opens the door and walks in, quickly stepping back as she sees us. 

"C'mon, Amethyst! You gotta wait for me to open the door first!" Lapis whines in a tired voice. Lapis then sits up, making the sure the sheet was still covering her chest. "What is it?" Lapis asks harshly as Amethyst still stands there with her hands behind her back, staring at the floor. "So sorry for bothering you ma'am, but I came to inform you about Jasper...." "Which one?" "The one that you, hum, killed?" I sat up in bed as well, making sure to cover my boobs too.

The mention of Jasper's name made me curious, and I wondered what they could possibly be wanting to inform us about her. Lapis's face was more concerned than before, and now Amethyst had her full attention. "We, um, found something in Jasper's body. It seems that a foreign chemical was injected into her bloodstream..." Amethyst explains. "What kind of foreign chemical?" Lapis asks. "We're still trying to figure that out. I just wanted to let you know in case you had any idea about what this might be..." Amethyst replied.

Lapis and I look at each other, and I think we both had the same idea. "Could this be why Jasper was acting so different?" I asked Lapis. "It just might be..." Lapis says, and she looks back at Amethyst. "We'll be right down." Lapis states, and Amethyst takes the hint and leaves the room. "We gotta get ready. Hurry up and get-" Lapis was saying frantically, hopping out of bed to get her clothes on. But she stopped in the middle of her sentence and looked at me. 

She then gives me a warm smile, and climbs back into bed and wraps her arms around my waist. "Good morning..." Lapis says, nuzzling her head into my neck. I giggled as her nose tickled the crook of my neck, and my shoulders shot up in reflex. This encouraged her, and she repeatedly kissed my neck, and I giggled more. For some reason I was a lot more ticklish than I'd ever been. 

"L-Lapis! Nyehehehahaha! S-stop-haha!!" I couldn't stop laughing as Lapis kept kissing my neck and tickling my stomach with her cold fingers. After about 2 minutes of non-stop tickling that literally brought tears to my eyes, Lapis finally stopped and she giggled, watching my laughter die down. "I had fun last night~" Lapis says seductively, sitting up in front of me. I couldn't help but still stare at how attractive her body was, since she didn't actually get any clothes on yet.

"My eyes are up here, Peridot." Lapis jokes, grabbing my chin and directing it up to her face. I blushed, and giggled in embarrassment. "Hehe...I had fun too..." I said. Lapis then mimicked me, and looked me over once with a smirk, and I realized that the sheets were no longer covering my body. "Duh-hey!!" I shout, shoving a pillow in her face so I could get dressed. She laughed, and pushed the pillow out of the way. 

As I was getting my clothes on, Lapis stood up and picked clothes from her dresser, putting them on as well. Now that we were dressed, Lapis pecked me on the lips, and put her leather jacket on, opening the front door. "Let's head out.." Lapis says as she walks out, and I follow behind her.

-Time skip-

We walked into the work room, and there was the same Amethyst standing by another door that probably lead to the room Jasper's body was in. Amethyst greeted us with a nod, and she opened the door for us, and Lapis led me into the room with her. It was a dark room that was slightly illuminated by the screens of computers and glows from strange chemicals. 

I then saw a large table in the center of the room, and Jasper's large body was laying on top of it, a white sheet draped over her. This room gives me the creeps, I thought, and shivered. Lapis must've noticed my chills, because she looked at me with a reassuring smile, and took my hand in hers. "Show me the chemical. What's in it?" Lapis then asks coldly, her mood immediately changing when she spoke to the workers.

Another Peridot walks up to us, and she holds the beaker up, which had strange glowing green substance in it. "We are still not sure what the chemical is made up of, yet" she states, studying it herself. Lapis and I examined it for a moment. The Peridot then further explains,"But we know that this substance has major effects to it, and it can change a person's emotional state altogether. It almost corrupts the brain's function and the person's responses to stimuli. So for now, we're calling the chemical, corruption...."
