Deal
Jones grinned as she seen the club walking back through the room where the girls did their usual changing and prepared for their fights.
"Women's boxing is a very good business to get into these days. Men like watching cat fights without the actual cat fight."
Davi chuckled as the guys stood around. Jones was digging for her small backpack that was in her locker. She was done for the night. The fight the guys had walked in on had been her last one.
"Jones!"
Davi called out causing the brunette to pop her head out from behind her opened locker door. She seen him waving her over. Grabbing her bag she flung it over her shoulder and smiled as she walked over.
"Hello boys. Good to see you again. Not here to make me quit this one too?"
"Nah darlin you're good."
Jax joked as he grinned. Davi just looked between the two parties.
"Mind if I ask how you all know each other?"
Davi questioned with his hands on his hips.
"Little miss thing here was fighting back when we found her."
Tig said pointing at Jones. Davi nodded crossing his arms over his chest.
"Killing Floor. Yeah, she told me about that. Guess she forgot to mention the Sons were involved in her rescue."
Jones cocked her head to the side and looked at her boss.
"Come on Davi, you never asked."
She chuckled causing him to snort. Chibs was watching her from the side. He noticed now that she was changed and seemed to be freshly showered that she looked much healthier than when they first met.
She had some meat on her bones finally and her muscles were bigger. Her brown hair was tied up back behind her head and her face had color to the once pale skin. Her eyes also seemed to shine just like her hair.
He was glad the girl had been able to take care of herself, but he didn't like it that she had thrown herself back into the ring.
"Well, I'll see ya'll around if you plan on sponsoring our ring. And I'll tell ya'll right now, I'm still undefeated."
Jones said with a grin causing Clay to make a knowing 'couldn't hurt' face as he looked at her.
"We'll see. You just stay undefeated and we might just sponsor."
Clay said with a large grin. Jones just snorted and made a gun finger toward the man.
"You got it boss. See ya Davi."
Jones said as she wave her hand toward her boss.
"Night kid. Get some sleep! We need you in here bright and early tomorrow!"
He reminded as Jones left through the back door. Chibs didn't realize that his eyes had been lingering on Jones the whole time until the back door slammed shut from the weight. It was then Chibs focused on the rest of the tour.
The next day Clay had a meeting for figuring out if they wanted to sponsor the fight or not.
"Jone's fight record is unheard of and she's the main star of the show. If we put our money on her and sponsor the fights David said we'd get 15% of winnings from her."
Bobby spoke up nodding his head. The rest of the guys nodded their heads as well.
"She's the most voted on women there when she fights. That means something."
Happy said with a grin on his face. The guys agreed. Chibs sat there listening trying to think things through. Yes, she was probably one of the best fighters he had seen, but he still remembered how she became the best and the struggles she went through.
It was dangerous and not something Chibs wanted for the young girl.
She had potential that was for sure.
"Who's her trainer?"
Chibs questioned finally speaking up. The guys looked at one another.
"David said she didn't have one. She trains herself. Why?"
Opie spoke up. Chibs shook his head and sighed deeply.
"Doesn't feel right betting on someone who doesn't have a personal trainer. Risky. We dunt know what her train regiment looks like or if she's doin things right."
"I think smashing in skulls means she's doing things right."
Juice spoke up recalling their first meeting of her. Chibs shook his head. Jax looked at Chibs and smiled.
"If you're so worried, why don't you train her?"
"Me! Jackie boy, I think you mighta lost a few screws yerself!"
The guys at the table laughed. Jax just kept on grinning.
"You trained Half-Sac so it's not like you don't know what you're doing. Besides, Scotty she seems to like you."
Jax joked causing the guys to bust out laughing from the nickname Jones had used when she seen them. Chibs snorted and ran his hand through his hair.
"Wouldn't hurt. Go see her tomorrow and see if she'd be interested. If she turns you down... then I guess we'll use that as our answer."
Clay said having a lot of the guys nod. Chibs lit a fresh cigarette and popped it in his mouth.
It seems like he was being left with very little choice in the matter. Then again he wouldn't mind seeing her again.
Chibs walked into the gym where he was directed by the signs at the front of the inside lobby for the fighting ring. He had to admit that this place was pretty big and spacious so they had to be doing well with money to afford it.
When he came inside he didn't expect to see Jones there. He didn't see a whole lot of her, but merely a glimpse. She had walked from one side of the ring to the other and had disappeared some where behind the ring. He arched a brow and made his way toward where he had seen her.
"What are ya doin?"
"Shit!!"
She yelled jumping as she shot up from a crouched position. Her eyes wide looking at Chibs.
"What am I doing? What are you doing! Walking up quiet as a mouse and scaring the piss outta me!"
She said putting her hand over her chest as to make a point. Chibs placed his hands on his hips rocking on his heels a bit.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to."
"Apology accepted."
She joked rubbing her hands together. There was a slight awkward silence between them for a split second before Chibs spoke up.
"I came to talk to you about something."
"Me?"
She questioned surprised to hear that. If she were honest, she would have thought that she would have never seen Chibs ever again.
"Aye. I wanted to know who trains ya."
"Who... trains me? Nobody. I do it myself. Why?"
"Because tha club is lookin to get involved with sponsorship with this place, but Clay wants ta make sure that his golden girl is well trained."
"So, your president wants me trained properly so I don't lose all his money?"
Chibs couldn't help but snort. She was smart he'dgive her that much.
"Somethin like that."
Jones rubbed the back of her neck.
"Well, who did y'all have in mind? I've never had a trainer before and I'm not exactly cool with new people."
"Yer lookin at him."
Her eyes widened. Chibs was not serious? He was going to be her trainer? Him? What made him so sure he knew how to train her?
Finally she just laughed softly. Her shoulders shrugged a bit.
"Alright. I guess at least this way if I lose I can blame it on the bad training."
She teased causing Chibs to chuckle a little and hold out his hand. She took it, shook it, and the deal was made.
