Third POV

Once again, laughter filled the air as Nightmare, Red Hood and Nightwing was on patrol together as Batman and Robin was on the other side of the town, fighting Two-face.

"You're happy today" Nightwing teased as Nightmare could feel Red Hood's jealousy creeping on her back, "Yeah, I don't know why but Ayami has been happy ever since she came out of her 'man cave'" she chuckled as the men tilted their heads in confusion. "'Man cave'?" they asked in unison as she turned around, "She would stay inside her room, studying and gluing her eyes to the screen, always I was happy to see she finally got out and smiled for the longest time" she muttered as Red Hood snickered. 

"Didn't Tim was a bit too happy when we came back?" he nudged Nightwing's shoulder making the masked vigilante smirked, "Yeah, don't you think they'll make a gre-" his words were cut off when a high-pitched feminine voice broke their moment. 

They begun jumping from one building to another as they looked down at the source, "D-duchess?!" Nightmare silently whisper-shouted as her ombre orbs widen at the sight of the castaway princess. She was surrounded by some thugs as Nightwing and Red Hood jumped down, Nightmare was frozen in place as she called Dragon and he answered almost, immediately,

"Hello?" 

"Why the hell is Duchess here?!" she whispered shouted as she could hear coughing at the end of the line, 

"Who!?"

"Duchess!! That spoiled princess!!" they begun whisper shouting each other, "Okay, calm down, I'm gonna contact Calm-" "We have no time for that, are you still on earth?" she quickly cuts him off, "Yeah, I'm at the Watchtower, but the zeta-tubes aren't working, Hydra and a couple of his men are working on it under Tim's instructions" he spoke as she sighed before groaning. 

"Does she have to stay at my place..." she muttered as he sighed, "You can ask Bruce if he can let her stay for a while, the tubes are 60% complete and it will be back online in an hou-" "I can't even stand her for a minute!" she whisper shouted as Dragon sighed. 

"We'll work on it, bye" he cuts the communication as she groaned and looked down, Nightwing was interrogating her while she kept babbling she's a princess and should be treated like a 'royal'. 

Nightmare sighed as she jumped down, startling the others as they held out their weapons except Duchess who screamed and pushed Red Hood towards Nightmare, causing him to push her to the wall and him caging her with his arms. Nightmare sighed as a something cold touches her cheeks causing her to look up to see Red Hood had kissed her. 

She looked at Duchess, before asking "Who're you? And what are you doing her?" Nightmare deepen her voice for the female to not recognize her before speaking, "I am princess Duchess of Crambia! And I demand you tell me where am I and who are you!" she shouted as Nightmare rolled her eyes under her mask before asking Nightwing to contact Batman. 

At first he disagree but after hearing what happened to the zeta-tubes, he just agreed with a sigh. Then, they stood in front of the Wayne Manor as Duchess stared in awe at the huge mansion. The vigilantes took their masks off as Duchess quickly clung onto Jason, thanking him for the rescue and dance. 

Yumiko sighed as she contacted Ayami, but no avail. She looked at Duchess, "How the hell you get here?" as she crossed her arms on her chest with a frown plastered on her lips. "I just stole this in the repair room, and just transported myself where my hubby is!" Stephanie walked in as she tilted her head, "Hubby? As in husband?" Duchess rolled her eyes as she tugged on Jason's arm. "He will be my future hubby!" Stephanie looked over to Yumiko as Barbara quickly soothed the angry half-cat woman. 

"And may I see this thing you stole?" her voice spat venom, as Duchess introduced the weapon she was too familiar with. "I called it White Gun" Barbara facepalmed at the lame name as Yumiko gritted her teeth, "Do you know who that weapon belongs to?" she pointed at the silver bladed weapon that can take form into multiple forms. Duchess shook her head as all eyes were on Yumiko. 

"Ayami's" Tim's eyes widen as the other followed, except Bruce. "I don't know about you, but we have this thing called you-get-killed-if-you-touch-our-stuff going around in our family, and we will kill anyone who takes it, literally" Duchess got up before pointing the bladed weapon that took form as a sniper-rifle at Yumiko, before smirking "I never heard of this Ayami, I only know you as a younger one" the ombre haired woman rolled her eyes. 

"Do whatever you want, but if your own shadow chocked you in the middle of your beauty sleep, don't come crawling back to me for help" she said before turning on her heels and begun walking. Jason was about to follow but was stopped by Duchess's hand around his arms tightly, he felt guilty that he could not comfort his beloved the way he usually used to. 

As Yumiko entered her other room, she quickly sat on the floor. The room was empty with just two windows giving her the moonlight she needed. She called Dragon, who said that the zeta tubes are still broken and she had to somehow keep Duchess in sight, dragon wings begun to appear on Dragon's back as Yumiko told him about their youngest sister's weapon in Duchess's hands. 

She sighed before walking out, her tail swayed around in boredom as her feet glided with the stairs as her ears twitches when she heard laughter. Her head popped out to see most of the bat family was with Duchess, and watching a movie. She didn't want to admit she was jealous but she is, she looked to see Jason was sitting beside Dick and Barbara while Duchess was clinging to Dick. 

It was right, she was jealous but she can't show it.
