Yuna POV
"You have a brother?" All of them exclaimed.
Looking down at the ground I tried to keep the tears in my eyes. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up and saw Hongjoong looking at me.
"Tell them what happened that I completely disappeared."
I struggled to look up at him. His eyes were watery and I still could see some grudge in it.
"I was eleven years old when I witnessed people killing my dad. He and I were walking through the streets at night when five men came up. My dad yelled that I should run away, he knew they would kill me." The first tear left my eyes.
"But before I could run someone grabbed me, they didn't want to kill my dad. I was their target since they could use me as a lever so my dad would spill the information he had." My voice broke.
I looked at all of them and I saw how my brother also cried reminding the night. The boys were looking at me in disbelief when I told them the rest of the story.
"I already had a gun, but I barely could use it since I never wanted to be into this game, but I still needed to train a bit. I was a little girl not knowing what to do. A man held a gun next to my head and threatened my dad to tell them something."
I shivered remembering this moment.
"Before I could think straight my dad grabbed the gun of the kidnapper and tried to shot him. He got him and the person let go off me. I don't know how I did it but I grabbed my gun and pointed it at the man who tried to shot down my dad."
Now I was crying like a waterfall. Soobin suddenly was by my side and hugged me. His warmth made it even worse and I disconnected our bodies.
"When I pointed my gun at the man another one pushed me and instead of hitting the kidnapper I hit my dad with the bullet." I got down on my knees.
Hongjoong sank down to me and held my hands.
"Why didn't you tell me that you got pushed?" His gaze was soft.
Looking into his dark eyes I cried even more, they looked like the ones of my dad.
"You never listened to me Joong; you always said it was my fault that he died, which is true but it wasn't my purpose."
My voice was hoarse from crying.
"After I shot him the men fled and I was alone with the body of my dad. He barely was alive when I reached out to him. My dad mumbled an "I love you" when he closed his eyes."
Soobin again came by my side and hugged me. This time I didn't push him away and just cried into his shoulder.
"I just found both of them lying there. Yuna tried to kill herself in that moment but I stopped here. I saw something in her eyes I never saw before – anger. After this night I always blamed Yuna for his death since she never wanted to train properly." Hongjoong continued.
I looked at him but I fastly looked away since I remembered the things he told me.
"I soon left them family and deleted every trace of me. It was like I never was born. My mother also started to drive crazy after the death of our dad. I left Yuna alone with our crazy mother. I wanted Yuna to suffer; I didn't see she was already doing it." His voice was weak.
There was a silence after him saying this. My eyes were burning from the crying and I tried to wish them away.
"Then why did you come back?" Soobin finally asked.
Hongjoong was still on his knees looking around, he looked lost.
"I still was informed with all the stuff happening in our world. When I heard that Yuna killed her step dad I already was alarmed. When Jungwoo announced he was now sitting on the first place I couldn't take it anymore. Searching for Yuna I found out that she was living with you."
"I knew you were going to attend the event tonight, but without Yuna since Jeno that idiot hurt her. If you wouldn't have killed him already I would be his worst nightmare. I may have negative feelings about her, but about the years my mind got clearer."
That was the moment my mind kicked it.
"Jeno is dead?" I stuttered.
Looking at Soobin I saw how he looked away. His eyes were on the ground and I slightly tapped his face to get his attention.
"He deserved this Yuna. Without him you could have attend tonight and maybe things would be easier. Also he was about to shot us and Yeonjun just did his job." He said.
Searching for Yeonjun I saw that his gaze was empty, no emotion, and no feelings written in his face. He was concentrated on what was happening.
"Joong could you also please tell me why you're here?" I said sniffling.
He looked around and an unknown emotion was in his eyes, but I couldn't tell it.
"I just want to help you, to get back on the throne." He quickly said.
Soobin helped me to stand up and I still shivered. My body was cold and remembering the killing of my dad was still in my mind.
"But why now? When Jinwoo got on the throne you didn't help me, why now?" I somehow wasn't convinced.
He raised an eyebrow.
"I thought you would be able to handle it, but by now you only killed people without making a progress."
My eyes bulged out and I got enraged.
"If you're only here to be mean you can go. It's my house and I didn't welcome you here." Soobin said aggressively.
I balled my fists and wanted to say something but Hongjoong was faster than me.
"I may have information you don't have. I could be quite useful." Joong suddenly smirked.
Something turned in my stomach and he reminded me more of the boy I knew a few years ago.
"What do you want in return? You never did something without a favour." I said.
My voice was stable again, but my eyes still were burning. Everyone could feel the tension in the room and I saw that the boys had their hands at their arms.
Beomgyu's eyes were burning holes into Joong or maybe even Soobin.
"Nothing, I just want to help you, since you're my sister. Jungwoo isn't a real Kim; he doesn't deserve to be on that throne." He answered.
I hummed and looked at Soobin. His arm was slung around my waist and he gripped it hardly. Should we trust him? He's my brother over all.
"What information do you have?" Soobin said.
Kai sucked in the air and wanted to say something, but Yeonjun stopped him.
Hongjoong turned around at them and I could see the grin in his face. He knew that Soobin was about to pay a price for the information he had.
"I think I will only tell Yuna the information I have. I'm not quite sure if she can handle it, so I probably need to take her with me."
My eyes widened.
"Leave now! We're not exchanging her for some information!" Beomgyu suddenly yelled.
"A little overprotective I see my boys. She wrapped you around every of her finger, huh?"
I stepped forward to say something but Hongjoong pulled a gun and pointed it at Soobin's head.
"What the hell Joong! What do you want?"
"I want you my little sister. If you're not coming with me your little lover will die."
The boys also pointed their gun at my brother and now I started to panic like crazy. I wasn't ready to lose one of them.
"If I come with you will you let him live?" I said.
Soobin didn't look afraid. He was way taller than Hongjoong and I could see that he was interacting with his eyes with the boys.
"Yes, I just need you." His smile was wicked.
"I swear to god if you will break this promise, I will do the same thing to you, just like I did to dad." My voice was low as ever.
Hongjoong just chuckled.
"Murderous as ever, I see. We're way more similar than I thought."
His gun was still pointing at Soobin, who still didn't look afraid, but I saw Yeonjun slightly moving in my outer corner.
"Come with me little sister, we will get you back at the throne, without these clowns." His voice suddenly was soothing.
It remembered me of the time he read good night stories for me.
I took his hand and looked one time at Soobin. Darting my eyes at my wrist I told him that he would know where I am.
"No Yuna! He will bring you to god where!" Beomgyu yelled.
Hongjoong darted his gun now at him but he still had Soobin in his vision.
"Tell your boys to put down the guns and every security system. I want to go out without hurting someone." He pulled me to his body and pointed the gun at my head.
My heart started to run like crazy.
"Joong don't be ridiculous." I stuttered.
Somehow I was afraid but on the other side I knew he was my brother. He would never hurt me.
"It's okay, I will go with him." I said.
The faces of them were in disbelief. Again I looked down and pointed my eyes at my wrist. I hope they would get the hint I showed them.
Kai slightly nodded. It seemed like he understood what I meant.
Their arms went down and Yeonjun walked out of the door frame. Hongjoong pushed me to the door where I saw a dead body lying.
"Mia?!" I yelled.
"I guess I killed her when I tried to find you." Hongjoong just chuckled.
