The White Mask

Jerry could feel his heart pulsing as he stepped towards the house. This was it, he was really going to take part in one of his fathers hunts.

It was bizarre but he felt giddy as a child getting a toy. Doing this meant, that he was no longer a child in his fathers eyes. But instead, he was an adult capable of being a partner. Thinking of this made him smile like a goof. He snapped himself out of it and opened up his rucksack.

"Okay, it's an electronic lock...so I use the device that dad has here. Where did he even get this stuff? Thought he barely had any..no no, I said no doubting him so .. I need to focus. "

Jerry muttered as he placed the small pad onto the key lock. It made a whirring noise and then it beeped quietly. Gripping the handle, he turned it and opened the door. To say he was nervous was a big understatement, he was pissing himself were he stood. He knew that his father would help him should any bad instances occur, he just had to have faith in him.

"First things first, I get up and then I buzz dad to tell him I made it. Right."

Jerry looked at the long flight of stairs and felt his face drop. Of course there would be an avalanche of stairs..wasn't like he could be caught or anything no.

"I hate stairs."

The boy griped as he began to walk upstairs. Not realising that a pair of eyes were watching him from the darkness.

"...No... That's not HIM...but, he does have the same aura as he does...I'll watch before I strike."

The voice said silently as they slunk back into the darkness.

Jeff sat in an anxious state in the tent. What if he failed, what if he was caught...what..what if he got harmed. Wait, why was he caring about the latter . The kid was only a tool that he needed for now..he wasn't a human to him, so why did he feel such a tight and gripping pain in his chest.

"Something, there's something not right with this scene...I don't know what but...I feel very nervous and that ain't a feeling I get often."

He said as he pulled out his phone and waited for the text, which arrived a few moments later. Inside his body, relief flooded like a river. Least the kid was okay and hadn't screwed up anything major. Jeff clicked the phone off and sat back in his tent.

"He's gonna be fine, nothing will happen...He's gonna be fine, nothing will happen..."

The killer repeated to himself as he began to get his own kit ready. But then he noticed something that made his blood both boil and freeze at the same time. It was a note with black lipstick pinned to a tree.

"No...no can't be..I was sure to leave no traces when I fled"

With trembling hands, he picked the note up and it was like a gun shot into his brain, killing him instantly.

'Cute kid, shame he won't be waking up any time soon, - J'

Jeff dropped all his gear and began making a mad dash for the house. The kid wouldn't stand a chance against her, she was as skilled at killing as he was. He'd just be killed outright since he was associated with himself. No, no he didn't know why but he couldn't bare the thought of him being killed by another.

"I should have killed that bitch with her family when I had the damned chance."

He sneered as he ripped the note up.

"Jane Richardson."

Jerry was scoping out the rooms when he heard a slight creak, this made him flinch and turn round but nothing was behind him. Facing back however, he had felt a slash on his cheek making him stagger back. It was completely dark and he couldn't see anyone at all. What was that. He felt the blood on his fingers and backed away only to be tackled down and pinned to the floor.

"You won't be making anyone sleep, but you yourself won't be waking up any time soon."

The pressure on his throat was getting harder and harder until he'd felt his motion blurring up. The woman on top of him squeezed down more but was suddenly sent skidding off of the boy . She flew into a glass table and had shards in her. Jerry had splotches in his vision but could see his father with his knife in hand. He looked deranged.

"Persistent bitch, aren't you? Jane."

Jeff smirked as he ran for her . Jerry could just stand and watch as his father fought this woman, whoever she was...she really would regret pissing off his father.
