Jerry looked at Jeff for a while, watching him drink away at his vodka. What were his choices now? His past was a sham according to what he'd been told but then again, was this also the truth? How was he to know that what Jeff told him was the gods honest truth in the matter.

"Yer in deep thought. I know that look you get, same when you were a small nipper, you did it when you were takin a shit."

Jeff snickered as he sat the bottle down.

"That little girlfriend of yours. Her dad is a cop, same one who tracked your case as a matter of fact. If you don't believe me , then next time you see her. You ask to see her pa, just pretend you'd escaped me."

So it was back to normal, he'd obey what Jeff said and report back to him. But now that he knew some truth, he didn't want to be a lackey to someone.

"I have to sort this on my own,Jeff. She'll get very suspicious if I just get out from the clutches of what to her, appears to be an insane killer. Need to think it through. If , if I stay. I want to be treated as an adult, not as a child,"

Jerry demanded as he clenched his fists at Jeff but the killer just shrugged his shoulders at the request. This made the teen angry and he swung for Jeff, only to be flipped on his ass.

"You've still got a shit load to learn before you surpass me, kiddo."

He stated as he held Jerry down with his foot. Jerry growled and struggled as he pushed at Jeff's leg. It was no use though, the older male was too strong for him.

"If you want to be an adult, you need to know how to surpass emotion Jerry. I had to do it in order to kill people. When you kill them, you need to put your heart in a cage. Feel no sympathy for them . They are your prey and you're the wolf. Frankly, I don't think your heart can be locked away. It's too fragile."

Jeff said as he lifted up his leg and helped the boy to his feet.

"As of today, I won't sugar coat things like I used to. If you fuck up, I'll show you the hard way that failure, results in consequences ."

As he listened to this, he suddenly snapped to his senses. He wasn't here to start the cycle, all he'd needed were the answers. Jerry turned to leave but was stopped by Jeff.

"If you walk to the girl, who's probably telling her dad about the fact that you're in contact with me. You'll be sent to jail and believe me. Kids like you, they don't last long in jail. I remember what my first few nights were like....yea..I rather not go into it."

Jeff shuddered lightly as he explained this to the boy. Jerry just grit his teeth together .

"But she's good! She's a really nice person.

Jerry felt his shoulders be gripped as Jeff looked him in the eyes.

"There's no such thing as an innocent person."

He released the boys frame and then began to think on what their next plan of action could be , he'd thought of using Jerry but then decided against it. Turning to the boy again, he'd noticed that he'd vanished. For some reason though, he never followed him and instead sat down.

"This is his final howl.... We'll see if he can really pull of a kill on his own without the leader there."

Jeff said as he pulled out a small photo of a child Jerry and smiled lightly.

"All pups have to grow, and he's no different ...so why do I have a bad feeling about it..."

Jerry was calmly making his way to the forest entrance when he was stopped by Sara hugging him tightly.

"Jerry!!! Jerry !! I thought he'd killed you!"

She wept with happiness as he just stood there. For once, he felt nothing for her . She'd ran away when he could have possibly died . That made him feel numb thinking of it as he looked at her.

"Stop faking it."

He said to her and she halted.

"Faking what?"

She asked him and released his body . He backed away slightly.

Jerry looked up at her.

"You're not very good at pretending."

Sara stayed silent for a short period of time but then answered.

"Neither are you."

It was like a different person was staring at him from where Sara stood . So his father was right, there really were no innocents in this grim world.

"So...what now? No questions about how long I knew you'd been lying to everyone ."

Sara asked him but he just stayed silent. This made her uncomfortable as he was not acting as he normally did.

"Hay Jer-"

A massive chill ran down her spine as he looked up at her with those now empty light eyes.

"Jerry's not here..."
