romanticizing
warning: the following content i'm about to talk about could be very sensitive to you. if you become uncomfortable while reading, please, exit this book. read at your own risk, thank you.
i really don't understand why people think it's okay to romanticize things. especially traumatic events. rape and self-harm isn't okay to romanticize, and if you think it is, fucking leave before i block you.
while going through my news feed, i noticed a author i followed had found a book called "raped". it very self-explanatory. and it's probably the most fucking disgusting things i've seen on here.
not only did this person have the decency to write this, they basically turned it to "wow this isn't rape at all, i'll just turn it into a nice love story".
who the actual fuck would that??
first of all, it's extremely disrespectful to the people who have been a victim of rape. because so many are traumatized by that kind of experience, and some have ptsd, which really saddens me to the core.
second of all, why would you have the audacity, to write something so vulgar and terrifying? how can you live with yourself?
and they're so many stories on here that are about rape, it makes me wanna vomit. wattpad, where you at?? your content guidelines need to fucking up their game.
i also want to talk about self-harm while i'm here, which is also, equally wrong.
as i said above, why would you have the audacity to write self-harm and think "hey, i'll just turn it into a love story then it can filled with gumdrops and rainbows".
no hunny, that's just being wrong.
for example, thirteen reasons why. i love this show very much, it was amazing. but, some people want to make stories out of it. which i have no power nor hold them against the decision for make fanfiction, i just find it a tad bit wrong.
anyway, i'm done
sincerely, trin
