The panic voices of two males rung through the bedroom where two detectives had gone to break away from the innocent ears that needed not to hear their issues.

"I'm being serious! He must know!"Taehyung cried.

"Well if you'd let Hoseok talk then we'd know know why you're serious!"Yoongi snapped. It had been minutes since their co-worker called sounding all too panicked. Unfortunately no true statement as to why the conclusion that they had been caught in a forbidden act was said. Taehyung was with Hoseok which caused for them all to hear his break down before the man could even tell his story.

"I went back for my jacket and Namjoon was still there by the board. Jin was no where to be seen so he called me over to help him with something. He said to me, 'Are you sure these are not connected?'."

"Alright well it sounds like he just wanted your input."

"No!" Hoseok screamed. "He made it sound like he knew that they were connected and was trying to get confirmation from me. Namjoon must think that one of us has some clues he doesn't. He must be trying to trick us all!"

Jimin looked to Yoongi who was seeming angered by it all. He put his hand on his shoulder then gave him a smile that said he'd handle it. The elder returned to join his son while Jimin took matters into his own hands. He began by attempting to calm his hysterical friends who were letting their paranoia get the best of them. It was made sure that by the end of the conversation they two were reaching a state where their heart rates were back to normal and were convinced that Namjoon had not meant the statement such way. Still, they all agreed to keep their sights on the leader in case they were mistaken. After the call with them was done, Jimin sent a warning of Jungkook for precaution. He was almost sure it had all been a misunderstanding, almost.

The living room no longer was filled with the high pitch voice of a cartoon character but instead a lecturing coming from the only parent. Agust had tears slowly coming down his cheeks while his father leaned down in front of him waiting to wipe them away.

"Is everything alright?" Jimin asked concerned.

Yoongi looked annoyed with his son.

"No." Agust cried. "Papa wants to go! I don't want to!"

The parent sighed as the child once again sobbed in a silent matter. Jimin had never seen a four year old like him. Most threw a tantrum or cried uncontrollably yet there was Agust trying to hold in his whimpers like he was a grown up.

"Well," Jimin looked to Yoongi, "why must you go?"

"Because he needs to get to daycare and you Jimin need sleep."

Jimin wanted to say he didn't so that he could spend more time with the toddler, however that would mean he'd lie. Really he was in desperate need for a shut eye. He would love to get to know Agust for as long as he could but given his bodies condition, that wouldn't be long. Instead he bent in front of the boy to caress his small hand. The action was enough to scare Agust into stopping his cry. Jimin promised he'd let him come over to pet the kitty some other time to which the child brightened. It was enough to get him back on his feet to say a proper goodbye and strut out the door.

"Quite an easy child you've got there." Jimin comment to the parent who looked relieved. "Lucky you."

Yoongi nodded. "Guess so. I'll come pick you up for work later."

Jimin stopped the male from walking out to the hallway.

"Why? Won't you be joining me in my nap?"

The invitation was gladly received and taken up for about half an hour later the two found themselves laying on the bed in each other's arms. Slumber was being difficult for the two, all for the same reason. Jimin would not say it as he pressed his cheek against Yoongi's chest, but he was worried. He had managed to convince others as well as himself that there was nothing to worry about yet the more he thought about it, perhaps Hoseok wasn't so wrong about Namjoon. The leader was one who believed in theories backed with reason not opinions as he had asked Hoseok. It was also extremely odd for him to make such remark when it was only them two. Namjoon didn't want anyone else knowing that he had suspicious. Jimin was sure of that.

Later that day the team gathered once more for at least a few hours to hear any new information from the morgue. The first murder of an middle aged man had been shot with the same bullet as the woman. These were not the same as the rest of the murders.

"So those two must be connected, but not to the rest?"

Jungkook shook his head. "Maybe not. Sounds to me like the killer is trying to throw us off."

"He knows we're after him or her." Jin sighed. "It's expected. We're on our fourth murder and we have absolutely nothing. Motives are hazy and the people dying appear to have nothing in common. The doctors have found nothing similar about the victims except the hole in their heads."

"Quit discouraging. Break up and start looking in the latest murders."

The orders were obeyed yet not in the fashion Namjoon wished for them. He clapped his hands obnoxiously to hurry the slugging detectives that were appearing to have lost all hope. To him they were alike, not knowing anything when really that was not the case. The five knew well that there was something in common with these people, for half the victims at least. The people murdered in the same week had yet to give them a clue to lead them to the conclusion they too were purchasing the forbidden.

Jimin and Yoongi had taken the recent case of a young woman. She was twenty five living in a luxurious apartment that was paid by someone else with lots of money. Her record showed no current job yet she was found with pearls hitting her chin when found dead in her of the year vehicle. In her apartment there had been no trace of drug. Taehyung and Hoseok had even discreetly gone through the trash while searched about the home. Jungkook had not noticed her go in to buy before either, but that was expected given she probably had something running errands for her.

"She's got nothing working against her."

"Perhaps the sugar daddy sending her all that money got sick of providing for her and killed her."

"Too obvious."

"Still a possibility-"

Jimin was cut off by the sound of his phone going off to signal a new message. Usually he'd ignore it for he was working, however his theorizing with Yoongi was giving him a headache. The message had come from Jungkook who not sitting behind him as he should have been.

The next victim will be a man.
