Sirens did not blare in the early morning but they might as well for the colors of the flashing red and blue was enough to catch the attention of just anyone nearby. The streets crowded with bypassers who were intrigued to see what was behind the yellow tape cautioning to stay back. Men and women of authority stood standing in front of that border to keep away the innocent but let through those who showed a badge that allowed for passing. The last of the seven summoned detectives was let through at the turn of the hour.

"'Bout time you made it here." Called out the voice of a superior to his employee who was looking rested yet disturbed by being so.

"Traffic was heavy. What do we have here?"

Jin took it in him to step up and answer what he was waiting to be said about the victim all seven males surrounded. Bright red blood spilled on the sidewalk and down into the concrete of the road where the forehead touch. Blood was carried away by the water which made its way to the sewers through the opening at the end of the street.

"Who you boys are looking at here is at Miss Parson of fifty five years. She was apparently taking out her garbage when she was shot in the head just as she put it in down. She didn't live here."

Eyes turned to the blue house they stood in front of. On the porch the family, most likely the residents, stood speaking with an officers. A man in his late thirties was looking as though he could strangle the officer who was just doing their job and failing at it. Seeing that control was being lost, Jimin and his partner stepped up to care for the situation.

"Detectives Park and Min." Jimin announces as both he and Yoongi held up their badge to prove their positions. The blonde along with the young brunette at his side looked to them both without a say. First, Jimin took a sympathetic greeting for their horrific start to the day.

"Forget that," Spat the man, "why the hell was she dropping her garbage with mine!? I had told her to stop, we all have!"

"You all as in-"

"The whole damn neighborhood!" The woman with big eyes stepped in."This isn't the first time she's done this. She's done it to just about everyone in a mile radius from here and we've asked her to stop. We thought she had but apparently not."

The two detectives shared a look before turning their heads to look where the corpse was being bagged up. Just besides her there was the can in which she had dropped her garbage. It was seeing photographed. Yoongi patted Jimin's shoulder then excused himself from the family. Jimin was left behind to assure them they'd do their best to figure what had happened to the elder while at the same timing trying to learn what he could of her.

"She was the crazy from around here. Parson would talk to herself as she walked her cats."

There was a definite belief that there had been a mistake in the naming of the woman's pet. Jimin asked to be sure but apparently his hearing had not failed him. While there he learned a few things more of the victim before he was asked to leave. The detective reassured once more to the couple to not worry before rushing to his partner's side.

"Find anything new?"

Yoongi shook his head. "Nothing much except for the fact that she lives two blocks from here. Namjoon and Jin are talking to the paramedics right now. Jungkook is with the person who called this in so for now we wait."

The new knowledge of where the woman lived sparked a theory in Jimin's head. He grabbed the arm of his partner to pull him away from any ears that could catch his whisper.

"Yoongi what if-"

Jimin could not finish his sentence nor the thought in mind as Jin motioned for them all to gather. Once they all came together, Namjoon joined them with a heavy sigh that meant one of many things. They all expected to be reported back to with new information but instead they were asked to meet back at the station. Everyone split ways to get there.

"Did you get some rest this time or will you fall asleep on me again?"

Jimin disregard the mock with a rolling of his eyes. Yoongi caught the reaction which only brought a smile to his face. He chuckled the slightest bit and if Jimin hadn't been so deep in thought, he would have countered it with a mocking of laughter.

"Yoongi what this woman was also using that drug?" Jimin asked curiously. "Maybe that's why she was throwing the wrapping of it around the neighborhood so she couldn't be tracked."

There was a moment in which Yoongi did not speak for the reasoning was settling. He examined it further that Jimin had.

"You might be right but the only way we could find that out is by finding the wrapping."

The partners agreed to keep the theory in mind. They spoke it to two of the remaining three in their team. All of them gathered by a vending machine whispering among each other until they were told to quit it by the look out.

"Definitely, take him to the vet- oh hey Jungkook." Hoseok smiled at the approaching male. "Join us in attempting to diagnose Jimin's cat."

The youngest among them was handed a drink to join them all in breakfasting on something before meeting with the bosses.

"Oh is Koshi sick?" Jungkook looked at Jimin with pure concern. "Since when?"

Guilt played at Jimin's chest for lying to the innocent youthful face which worried for an animal he'd never met but heard of a few times.

"Sunday." Jimin lied. "He's been throwing up and...stuff."

"Oh well I have a friend whose a vet and I'm sure he wouldn't mind coming over to take a look at him after work."

Jimin felt his chest warm at the gesture that would definitely not be followed through with but he appreciated it deeply. He promised Jungkook that the cat would be fine for it must have been something he ate. They changed the subject to the murder which turned to be all they spoke of when summoned by Namjoon.

"Alright boys, looks like we've got more work." The team leader chuckled bitterly."From what I'm being told the bullet was from the same kind of gun from our alley way victim. In knowing this it's very likely that the murders can be connected by the same person or both victims could have been involved with something of the same. Since we have yet to solve the man's murder, we'll be splitting up."

Jin stepped in with papers in hand. "Namjoon and myself will be going along with you just to be more cautious, we can't let anything slip. We've decided that we'll be splitting into teams of three. One team will search about Miss Parson's home in for anything incriminating or similar to the other victim's apartment. We've decided to do as Jungkook suggested so two will be heading back to look about again for anything. I will be searching the apartment again with Hoseok, we need fresh eyes."

The squad leader wasted no time in dismissing himself along with the rookie detective. All of them shared a look with Hoseok that served as a warning from only three of them. He was the only of them two going who knew of the drug finding in that apartment and they pleaded for him to keep it that way. With the two gone, five were left.

"Alright and with my I'll be taking Jungkook and Yoongi." Namjoon announced. "Since you boys looked through the apartment you should be able to spot any similarities in the places."

The two which would be leaving next exchanged a glance. Theirs meant nothing unlike the one that had been shared with Hoseok. With two tasks said, two were left clueless as to what they'd be doing.

"Uh, what about us?" Taehyung spoke up timidly. "What will we be doing?"

Namjoon set down his coffee cup with a smile.

"You two get the best job."
