Logan and Janus were standing leaned against a wood fence right besides an entrance to an amusement park. They had decided to go on a double date with Remy and Remus but so far the other couple hadn't showed up even though it was 20 minutes past the time they'd decided on.

"Dear you can not seriously expect them to be here in time" The nerd said after his boyfriend had complained about them being late for the fifth time "It is quite likely that Remy would stop at every coffee place on the way and we both are aware that if Remus sees an interesting rock he will stop to lick it"

"Fine, that is true" He crossed his arms and pouted "I just love waiting soooo very much"

"Would me attempting to win you a kind of prize such as chocolate or a plushie lift your mood?" Lo asked with a knowing look.

"What kind of question is that? Would you like to continue to breath??? I absolutely want a boyfriend won prize!"

"WHALE PENIS! SNAKE PENIS!" Remus yelled from the distance.

He quickly ran up to them while holding Remy's hand. The enby was sipping on a coffee "Sorry gals had to stop for a latte on the way"

Logan looked over at his boyfriend with an expression that yelled I told you so. In return he stuck out his tongue at him. His forked tongue. He'd gotten it made that way recently because he had a choice over his own body now a days and he was going to godamn use that power.

Remus had on a puke green shirt that said 'Dolphins are necrophiles' while wearing black tights and see through mesh pants (It's an iconic fashion moment). Remy had their usual leather jacket on but with a matching leather skirt. It was their first time wearing something that wasn't pants like so they were nervous but their boyfriend had assured that they looked great.

"So shall we get into this bitch or what?" The enby asked while motioning for the entrance.

After they'd paid for tickets they wandered into the fairly large park. The sky was clear from clouds leaving the sun to shine down onto the rides, games and crowds. It was almost disorienting how much there was to do.

 The sound of people screaming became so loud when they walked past the roller coaster so it became hard to hear each other when they talked. Janus flinched and stopped Logan by holding his arm in front of his chest.

"What exactly are you doing dear?" Lo asked.

"Protecting you. Loud sounds mean danger" He hissed back while glancing around for someone to hurt them.

"Girl we're at an amusement park you can't not expect loud sounds, wait" Remy fished around in their pockets and took out 2 small yellow foam rubber ear plugs "I usually have these if I wanna like sleep in public spaces but you can borrow them. They should quiet the loud sounds down but you'll still be able to hear us"

"Thanks" He took them and immediately felt less tense when he put them in "I'm sorry I-"

Logan gently placed his hands on his shoulders to stop him from insulting himself "It's alright, we understand" 

Janus took a deep breath. He patted Lo's hand while smiling up at him.

"Do you think a human's skin could be ripped off if they went in a fast enough roller coaster??" Remus asked while lightly bouncing up and down on his heels.

"Theoretically yes that can possible happen but I doubt any of the rides here are so unsafe that anything close to that would happen" Logan replied while fixing his glasses to look extra smart.

"Can we still ride it? Oh god I really want to make a sex joke out of that but I'm too giddy to think of one"

They agreed to it. While they were waiting in the quite long line Logan broke down how the auerodynamics and technology of the roller coaster worked. Janus listened and tried to not get confused. Rem and Rem were completely bored out from the conversation so they spent the time drawing swear words into the sandy ground.

Janus' eyes widened when he noticed the stand where people could buy the picture of them that was taken during the ride. He took off his hat and hid the right side of his face behind it.

"Nope. I am not going on this ride. I don't want my ugly scars to be catched on photo" Jan said.

Logan pressed a few kisses to his bumpy and uneven scars "How many times do I have to tell you that they are in no way ugly"

"Yeah! They look cool! Like you've fought a bear and won! They're much nicer than mine" Remus motioned to the purple and white lines that covered his arms. "Though mine are pretty fucking rad since I'm still alive even if I have them and I've decided that me being alive is a good thing"

He sighed "Fine" And put on his hat again.

Once they actually sat down on the ride Remus kept babbling on excidetly about how they were about to die while Remy kept saying they weren't. Though when they came to the first dive down into rollercoaster hell they screeched like a hyena.

"Well that was completely pointless" Logan muttered once they'd gotten off "My pulse didn't even go up"

"Are you even human???" Remy asked.

He checked so his heart was still beating before responding with a monotone "Yes"

The enby stopped by the photo booth. The photo that had been taken at the start of one of the loops showed Janus tightly grabbing Logan's tie and pulling him into a kiss while holding onto his hat with his other hand. In front of them sat Remy who was holding onto Remus as if their life depended on it while they were in the middle of a scream. The duke was grinning while staring directly into the camera and moving his finger into his other which he'd formed into a hole.

"I'll set this on like our fridge" Remy said after buying a magnet of it.

"That didn't make you sound like an old married couple at all" Janus lied with a smirk.

They stuck out their tounge at him before turning to their boyfriend "Girl girl look at me, does my hair look good cause I swear those fast riding bastards are the worst kinds of hair dryer" Remy rambled out while trying to fluff up their wavy hair.

"Aww my dear dead heart of mine don't worry you still look perfect" Remus leaned closer while moving his eyebrows up and down "Though I think you look the best when you shift from complimenting me to babbling out nonsense"

Their cheeks turned red from blushing as they lightly smacked him away "You disgusting dirtbag!"

"That's me! No but really you look great. You want me to repeat that list of good things about you I started yesterday while we were cuddling and watching love, actually?"

Janus turned around because he'd been half listening in on the conversation "How in the hell did you make him watch a romantic comedy as corny as love, actually?" He asked towards Remy.

They smirked "I have my ways"

"Kinky!" Remus cut in as if he Jared Kleinman. 

Remy held back a smile "I didn't mean it like that! I buy deodorant but I only let him eat it if he agrees to watch the movies I want to watch instead of the garbage he recommends" They explained to Janus who noted the technique for the future in case he needed Remus to do something (murder) for him.

"I recommended blood feast 2 and vampire girl vs Frankenstein girl which are both fucking amazing"

"We both know that if I like saw either of them I would be up all night tots worrying about a murderer bloodily murdering us"

"What else would the murderer do? Water your flowers?" Jan scoffed.

"Aww my lil withered sunflower I would be more than happy to hug and protect you all night from the murderers. I would even eat the murderers if you want" Remus suggested while nuzzling his head against their shoulder.

They chuckled "Wow I feel like so much safer knowing I'll be protected by a cannibal"

"Fun fact, way back in China human body parts used to be a choice on the imperial menu. Imagine going into a restaurant and being able to eat a human foot! Agh exciting!" The duke exclaimed.

"I prefer the newer cases of cannibalism since they are morally more fascinating" Logan added in "Such as when a rugby team crash landed in the middle of snowy mountains and had to eat their dead team mates to survive. When they were rescued they were seen as inhuman instead of heroes which I think is strange, they had no other choice"

Rem and Lo continued to discussed cannibalism as the group walked around looking for what to do next. It sounded like the two of them were other worldly creatures who'd learned how to act human but not really.

"Teddy!" Remy exclaimed while squeezing their boyfriend's hand which interrupted him from rambling about the many species of animals which were cannibals.

They pointed at a game booth where you could try and shoot as many moving bear targets as possible to win prizes. The biggest prize was a huge fluffy teddy bear. Remus nodded at them before cracking his knuckles to show how ready he was to win that godamn prize for them.

Finally all those hours off pretending to shoot people and playing shooting games would have a purpose. He payed the man standing in the booth and sat down in front of the fake shooting rifle but so did Logan.

"Whatcha doing?" The duke leaned over and whispered.

"I've promised Jan a prize" He tried to remember one of his vocal cards but couldn't so he just made up something that he hoped was slang "I am about to win so hard over you that it will blow your...pants...off??"

"You wish you had the privilege of seeing me without pants" He hissed back.

"No you don't" Remy added. They had their arms around their boyfriend's shoulders and was leaning their chin on his head.

Before he could say something snarky back the person working at the booth began the game. It was a close call but Remus came out as the winner. He handed the teddy bear over to Remy while grinning. They hugged the bear that was as big as a third of them before pressing a kiss to their boyfriend's cheek which was all the prize he needed. They continued to hug the light brown bear as they walked. It looked like amazing pillow material.

"I failed you" Logan said in a monotone voice towards Janus.

"Ah yes I will kill you now because of this failure" He lied while chuckling "Darling it's okay. Come on let's try another game"

The group stopped at a booth where the player got to guess on 3 number between 1 and 100. A wheel with the numbers painted on got spinned and if the pointer stopped at the guessed numbers they won a giant chocolate bar.

Logan used 100% of his brain power to estimate which numbers had the highest statistical chance to be stopped at. After some very intense thinking he guessed and all four of them held their breath as the wheel spun. Remus let out a loud wooohhhooo when Lo won.

He broke up into a small smile as he handed the chocolate over to Janus "Great now I can eat it all tonight, I'm planning on dislocating my jaw and eating it all in one bite" He lied.

"No sharing?" Lo asked.

"You're right, maybe I'll give some to Lillith" Logan did intense puppy eyes after he said that so Jan added "Fine. You can have some"

"That shall be very satisfactory"

Remus flapped his arms around and bounced on his heels when he caught sight of the haunted house in the distance. He pulled in the teddy bear instead of his partner's hand since their hands were occupied by the plushie and pointed at the spooky looking house.

Once he'd gotten nods from the rest of them he nearly sprinted towards it.

"I am not going in there" Jan said while crossing his arms "That building screams of an incoming panic attack and I haven't had one in 2 weeks so I don't want to ruin my streak now"

"Aight understandable girl" Remy replied. Remus was next to them and he was currently vibrating out of excitement.

Remy handed the plushie over to Logan for safe keeping before getting pulled into the haunted house by their still vibrating boyfriend.

When they came out again Remy was holding onto Remus arm while looking as pale as a ghost. The duke looked like he'd just seen a comedy.

"Somebody grabbed my shoulder" They exclaimed while grabbing onto Logan's shoulders.

"It was most likely someone who was hired to scare people" He replied.

They took off their sunglasses to show how serious they were "It was a fucking ghost!!"

"Do you think the ghost takes applications?" Remus asked "Cause I'm still looking for a new job and this seems perfect. I mean no sound is better than screams of horror followed by pants turning yellow"

Remy rolled their eyes while there was a soft smile of adoration on their lips "You goblin freak, I can't believe out of all people I love you. You're like as hard not to love as like nicotine is hard not to get addicted to"

He leaned against them while grinning "Yep! I'm addictive"

He kissed them which made them so giddy they didn't really notice when he took their hand and pulled them back into the haunted house to go both ghost and job hunting.

Logan and Janus who had been left outside immediatly at the same time muttered "5 dollars that Remy will come back out scared as hell again"

"Eyyy" Jan did fingerguns at them saying the same thing.

Lo hesitantly mimicked the fingerguns even though he didn't know what it meant.

He booped Janus' face with the nose of the big teddy "Would you like to go and eat after this?"

"Ah yes. Just me, my husband and two chaos gremlins at a resturant" Jan replied while pretending to check his nails through his gloves.

"You have called me your husband 5 times now. I've kept count. Are you perhaps trying to tell me something?"

"What? No definitely not! It's been accidents alright" Janus looked down while fiddling with his gloves "I mean I would absolutely loathe spending the rest of my life with you but-"

Before he could finish lying Logan had put the teddy bear and chocolate down on the ground and instead taken his hand and began walking. The sounds of people laughing and talking around them were just as loud as their heart beats. The colors were blinding but the only thing Janus could focus his gaze on was the man he loved.

They abruptly stopped near a few cheap automats. Lo quickly fished up a few coins from his wallet and put it into the machine. Out came 2 toy rings. One with a plastic blue gem and one with a plastic yellow gem.

"I-I love you but I'm not ready this is too soon I mean we've only been dating for-" Janus began to babble out while his eyes widened.

Logan pulled him closer by the waist to calm him down "I am not asking for your hand in marriage. It can take as long as you want until we get married, but" He hesitantly got down on one knee "Would you like to become my fiancé?"

Janus covered his mouth with his hands while letting out a breathless "Yes"

He carefully put the yellow ring on his fiance's finger before putting the other ring on his own. Janus looked at it for a moment before breaking out into a laughter and swinging his arms around Lo's shoulders.

They spun around while laughing and hugging "We're engaged!" Logan exclaimed.

"We are!" Tears of happiness had appeared in his eyes.

"That was so stressful" Lo giggled out "I hadn't planned that at all. Woah my head is spinning and the only thing I can think about is that I love you"

"I love you too!! I love you more than life itself"

Logan looked at Janus with the biggest smile. He rested his hand against his scarred cheek to truly understand that he'd been blessed with being together with someone as wonderful as him. He moved closer and kissed him with more affection than he'd ever kissed him before.

Janus held onto the dark fabric of his shirt to keep him as close as possible. He closed his eyes and lifted one of his legs up in the air like they did in the movies since it felt like he could fly right now. There were butterflies in his stomach and his heart was filled with quiet adoration.

Once they broke apart from the kiss Logan murmured out "I can not phantom how I've spent the majority of my life without you. It feels like your as important to me continuing to live as oxygen"

"I-I" A few tears rolled down his cheek. He waved his hand to make it stop "Sorry, these are happy tears I swear it's just, I'm sad that I wasted so many years without you"

"Shh" He gently wiped away the tears "You can't change what has happened and neither can I even though I wish I could. You're here with me now and that is what matters"

Janus nodded before shining up into a smile.

when they came back Remus was walking in quick circles around Remy since he couldn't stand still for long. The enby was holding onto the chocolate and the teddy bear. The newly engaged couple were holding hands and whispering to each other. Every now and then they broke down into laughter and or kissing.

"What are you so happy bout gals? Did you two take drugs while we were away or something??" Remy asked while crossing their arms.

"Did you summon demons??? I've read some rituals on how to summon them!" Remus added.

Janus glanced over at his fiancé before answering with a proud smile "We're engaged!" He showed of the ring.

Remy squinted at the ring "What kind of cheap asses are you? Those look like shit, no offense but like no class"

"I will get him a much fancier ring later if he wishes for it, this is simply because the decision was quite sudden" Logan replied.

"Most of me wants to say that the marriage and especially jewelry industry is corrupt and capitalistic and they overprice things extremely much but the fashion diva part of me wants a nice ring with a citrine gem" Janus sighed

"I would definitely get that for you dear"

Janus let out a short squeal while holding onto Lo's arm "This is my fiance!!! Aaaaahh, it's so exciting to say!! Logan is my fiance!!"

"Oooh you should play anaconda by Nicki Minaj during that wedding dance or whatever" Remus suggested.

He started to sing the chorus but all he got was expressions that screamed no.

"Okay cut me slack. I'm not good at planning wedings BUt Ro-bro is. You should see the things he has planned for his and Virgil's wedding on 13 april. It's gonna be asslicking good" The duke rambled "You should ask Ro for tips"

"Eeeh weddings are like tots boring" Remy said before lowering their sunglasses "Now weed-ings those are interesting"

"Those don't exists" Logan commented.

"I'm gonna make them like exist. That's how powerful I am"

"Enough about weddings! Anyone up for going on that safari ride and shoot lazer beams at innocent animals??" Remus asked.

"Girl you know I won't say no to that" Remy replied. They took his hand and began to walk away while talking and giggling.

Janus was about to follow when he noticed that Logan was looking at him with a fond smile "What are you staring at?" He asked.

"Nothing. I just love you" 

Logan leaned down and kissed his fiancé's hand and the ring before pressing a kiss to his lips. Janus leaned against him and let out a short but happy chuckle as they quickly walked up to their friends.
