At that moment he wondered.
Lalna's castle.
"I'm not sure if this is a good idea, Lalna."Nano's voice wavered.
"It'll be fine! Don't you worry, it's just a little alcohol!"Lalna's cheerful voice sounded from his brewery.
"Well, either way, I can't really handle my alcohol so I'm stepping. Out on this one."Nano turned around a gave a small wave, indicating she was going back to her tower.
"Suit yourself. All the more for me!"Lalna laughed as Nano shook her head and face-palmed.
"You're going to do crazy stuff, so I'm not getting you aspirin in the morning."Were her last words before she disappeared into her tower.
The grin on Lalna's face only grew as he saw the immense amount of alcohol in his stores. He had left the brews for a while, and the smell was enough to make Lalna lick his lips.
As the hours passed, Lalna drank his sorrows away, drifting away from reality at an alarmingly fast rate. As he hiccuped and sipped the dregs from his beer mug, he clumsily walked outside his castle, taking in the fresh air. The clouds was high in the sky, white and unwavering. Lalna noticed darker clouds rolling in, faster than the speed he could consume alcohol. Tiny droplets of rain fell from the grey sky, indicating that heavier showers would come.
Th world was spinning beneath him, and his mind seemed to have shut down.
The rain stopped. And before he knew it, the drunkard free off into the night, passing forest and desert... To find himself at the doors of Blackrock.

Lalna groaned as he woke up, he was in bed. In his castle. Light poured through the glass window, indicating that it was very early morning. His head felt extremely sore, and he could seem to move his leg. And at that moment he wondered:
What the heck did I do?!
The voice in his head screamed at him as he winced and looked at the weight on his leg. He saw Nano, head resting on the bed, but also sitting in a wooden chair. She was fast asleep, but Lapna's head hurt too much to worry about her.
He saw some pills on the bedside counter next to him, and he confirmed that they were aspirin pills. He put a few tablets in his mouth, as well as gulping a glass of water down. His eyes seemed at close slowly as he realised it was 4:00 am. Lalna could hear Nano's soft breathing as he smiled. He went to sleep, realising that the early morning was not the best time for him, as his eyes closed once again.
***
Lalna awoke again with a start. A deafening blast came from outside. He jumped out of bed, letting Nano sleep. He equipped his flying ring, quantum armour and power tool before he soared to the courtyard. What he saw made his stomach lurch.
It was Rythian. His clothes were speckled with that looks like blood. His eyes that were visible above the mask were stoic, yet infuriated. Lalna knew that he had done something wrong.
"Lalna."The Mage hissed.
"Rythian."The scientist addressed.
"You will suffer as I did."was all Rytjian said before his fist came forward, hitting Lalna's temple, knocking him out.
His blonde hair was sprawled on the ground, his goggles lying on the floor near him. The blow wasn't enough to really harm him, as Lalna got up soon after.
***
Rythian cracked his knuckles as he walked into a tower, leaving the scientist behind. He sensed the power signing from the top floor-he knew. He knew that everything he needed was there.
All he ever wanted was Lalna's pain. All he needed was to see him suffer. Not dead, but tortured.
The thaumic energy rose as he could see the familiar purple mist. He advanced up the stairs, to find a bed with some nodes scattered around. Out the window he saw several quarries, and he cringed at the sight of them.
'Science.'
He heard a voice on the floor above him, and his muscles tensed.
Twinkle twinkle little star
He knew it was her. The fluxed one.
How I wonder what you are.
He came for her. Specifically for her.
Up above the world so high.
He knew that she was the key to making him suffer.
Like a diamond in the sky...
So he would get revenge the easy way.
He walked up the stairs, and the singing stopped. He saw a young woman, her hair was black with flowers either side. Her arms were purple, it was slowly spreading. The flux. Her dress was oriental and her expression was devoid of hope.
"What did you come here for, ender Mage?"Her voice was silky, and Rythian's eyes looked down upon her.
His gaze was hard, expressionless.
"I came here for one thing, young one."He whispered."One thing only."
"Now, what could that be?"She pondered.
"A thing called revenge."Rythian hissed as he drew his katar and pierced her heart.
Her eyes widened as she managed to choke out a 'eh?' Before Rythian withdrew his blade.
And up the stairs he came, the scientist in white. Clutching his head and mumbling, as he heard her body hit the floor.
He didn't move. He hoped to God that it was a simple nightmare, but it wasn't. The tears came, flowing down his face. He ran to her body, as her eyes fluttered closed.
As her life ended, all she could pull was a bitter smile.
"No... Nano!!"He screamed as he held her corpse to his chest. He didn't care that her blood was getting everywhere.
The tears smeared his face as he looked, hostile, towards the murderer.
"Rythian."he screamed his name."WHY?! I DIDN'T TAKE ANYTHING FROM YOU!"Duncan drew his mining laser and looks towards the emotionless endermage.
"I'd have to disagree. You took away almost everything that I had cherished."Was the last thing Rythian said before he teleported out, leaving the broken scientist, and his shattered dreams.

Blackrock.
As Rythian returned home, he felt a wave of exhaustion pass through him. He needed rest. What he had just done would change everything that fate had laid out for him. He dragged his feet up the stairs and made his way to the guest bedroom.
He threw himself on the bed, his eyes closing and his senses dulling before he finally fell into a deep slumber. His mind told him it was the right thing to do, and that it would bring the most pain to Lalna.
The pain Lalna felt was more that Rythian could ever imagine.
***
Rythian rose from his bed, awoken by the light pouring in from the windows. Rubbing his eyes, he stood up. For some reason, he get awful. Not sick, not guilty, just dismal. He walked down the stairs, and he didn't return the smile Zoey offered him. Gnawing on a piece of bread, he thought about what he felt.
Was it the right thing to do?
Did I go too far?
Does Lalna feel any pain?
As he finished his meal he pulled up his mask, and headed towards Zoey. She was in the kitchen, humming and preparing food. Rythian place a hand on the door frame.
"I'm going to do some magic, Zoey. Don't bother me. Leave the food outside the room."Rythian ordered gruffly.
Of course, he was lying. No magic would be done in that room. He needed time to think.
Rythian needed to think it over. He wanted to confirm if what he did was worth regretting. He had never taken someone's life so... Heartlessly before. But then again, Lalna killed Tee. So, is a life truly worth another?
Rythian started to twist his flying ring on his finger. He stared to get nervous. If Lalna came to kill him, he wouldn't be prepared. If he killed Zoey...
She was the first thing that Rythian learned to care for. Before, he lived a solitary life. By himself. Surviving.
But now... He had something that he truly wanted to protect. That girl had made a huge impact on his life. And he would do anything in his power for her.
Rythian knew inside, that taking a life was a sin that he would have to take recoil for. Deep down, he loved and hated revenge. It brings satisfaction, but it also brings pain. Revenge is sweet, but justice is sour.
Rythian Enderborn. He would be known as a murderer for the rest of his life.
"I'm sorry, but... I love you, Zoey."He whispered to nothingness as he hung his head low.
He heard a wooden bowl hit the floor outside the door, and then quick footsteps. A soon as he opened the door, she was gone. Leaving but a spilt stew at his feet.
