Jeongguk entered his home, setting his things down and going to the kitchen. After a long day at work, he was pretty hungry so the kitchen was his best bet at the moment. The young man opened the fridge and saw some peppers and broccoli sitting in a bowl. He smiled and pulled them out and sat them down, going to the cabinet to get some rice.
Before Jeongguk started cooking he jogged up to his room and threw on some sweats and a white t-shirt. "Now, let's go." He said to himself and went to the kitchen and started cooking. He was making some stir fry. While the rice cooked he put the vegetables on a cooking sheet and put a little butter so it wouldn't stick and out it in the oven so it would get a little brownish and soft.
He wasn't a great cooker but he knew how to make the basics, and this was one of them.
Before his mom passed away, she always taught, or well at least tried, to teach him how to cook. It was their favorite thing to do together but when she passed, his father would try to do it with him but it wasn't the same so Jeongguk stopped; he lost the passion he once had for the activity.
He felt alone for the most part but when he started the company, it helped some, but that's because he had some friends to help him out and he was grateful for that.
He checked the rice and saw that it was done. Jeongguk opened the oven and saw the veggies were done as well and grabbed pot holders, pulling the pan out the hot oven. He grabbed a bowl and sat it down before putting rice in it, soon the vegetables on top. Jeongguk grabbed sriracha and poured some on his food before going to sit at the table.
He would watch tv but he had work to get done.

Jeongguk awoke by his alarm going off near his head. He stretched his body out on the bed as he saw the sun peek through the curtains on his windows. Today was his day off but he had to go in to do something for the gala.
Jeongguk sighed and got up, going to his closet to pick out some jeans and a black button up. He decided to not wear a suit jacket since he would only be there for a short period of time.
After getting clothes, he grabbed a towel and headed to his bathroom. When he first moved here he asked if they could build a speaker into the wall in his bathroom. They did so now he gets to jam to music while showering. Jeongguk turned the water on, waiting for the water to turn hot. Once it did, he undressed and got in the water hitting his back.
He washed his body and hair before washing his face. The shower was great like every shower was, Jeongguk got out and dried off before wrapping the towel around his waist. He brushed his teeth and styled his hair before going and changing into his clothes for the day. He finished the outfit off with a pair of black ankle boots.
He went downstairs and saw some dishes piled in the sink. "Eh, I'll do them later." He said to himself and grabbed his keys and phone before leaving.
Today was warm out with a little breeze, the perfect weather if you asked Jeongguk. He got in his car, getting the key and starting the car. The windows were rolled down as he drove through the city.
Jeongguk wouldn't be there for long, only to finish off the last few papers, then he would be free for the rest of the day.
Pulling up to the building, instantly seeing Hoseok and Young-jae standing there with impatient looks. Jeongguk hurried and parked his car.
"Hyung, what happened?" Jeongguk asked and jogged to his assistant. "Someone broke in last night." Hoseok told with a panicked tone and looked over at Young-jae who took over. "The hostage is gone as well." He stated and saw Jeongguk bite the inside of his cheek.
"Lets go to my office, we'll look at the security footage there and figure this out." Jeongguk told and had them follow him to his office. He pushed the door opened and shut it after Hoseok and Jae entered, locking it so no one could bothered them. "Do you guys have an estimated time of when this could have happened?" Jeongguk asked and looked at the two.
"No, we just came in today and saw glass shattered all over the ground and the boy gone." Hoseok explained and watched Jeongguk pull up the footage. He clicked the time frame and skipped through, stopping around midnight.
Jeongguk and the others looked closely as they saw movement from around the windows. Next thing shown was a brick getting thrown through the window, two men climbing in. "Fucking pricks." Jeongguk said silently, planning something in his mind.
As they continued to watch they listened in. They heard the two talk about money and A boy. "Taehyung," Jeongguk said and saw them go in that direction. He watched as his blood boiled, not liking the way they walked around his building.
"They'll fucking die." Jeongguk said and shut the computer, getting up and walking out. His office. "Did you guys get the evidence bags and put the brick and stuff in it?" He asked and walked down the stairs, wanting to share his idea to his two best friends. "Yeah, as soon as we got here we did that." Hoseok said and grabbed his keys so he could open the door to the evidence space.
"Find anything else while looking?" Jeongguk continued to ask questions, wanting to know as much as we can. "One of them cut themselves while escaping. We got as much of the blood as we could." Young-jae said, picking the bags up and giving them to Jeongguk.
"I'm going to wash my hands, get my gloves so I can test to see who the blood belongs to." Jeongguk said and walked to the sink. He applied soap to his hands and scrubbed them, cleaning them before turning it off. He put the gloves on and washed them before grabbing an unused towel, making sure they were clean.
He started to work, wanting to find whoever did this and make them pay for the damage they caused.
