I was the youngest member of the Akatsuki, by far. I was also the most powerful, not counting Pain-sama of course. One of the rarest Kekki genkais activated- second stage even! And the fact that the innocent expression on my face makes me look like a helpless child helps quite a lot too.

A knock on my door caused me to look up curiously. I was never bothered unless it was for a mission.
At the door was Kisame and we tossed me something, and I instantly caught it. I looked down at it puzzled; it was a snow country ninja headband.

"You got a solo mission, and it's the biggest one we've had yet, so you can't mess up." I stared at him with a raised brow.

"Why do I have to do it?" I asked and he cracked a small smile.

"Because you're the only one who can walk around freely and you look like a pesky little Chuunin, maybe a Jounin." I glared at him while he simply shrugged it off and crossed his arms.

"Anyways, you're going to live in Konoha for a few years." my jaw dropped.

"Years?!?" I stood up from the chair I was sitting in and I noticed Kisame take a small step back.

"You're going to get the ninetails. Get close to him, do whatever it takes to gain his trust. Then when we give you the signal, capture him and bring him to the base." I nodded to signal that I understood and began to pack the few things I owned, which were mainly weapons.

"What's my cover story?" I asked and he shrugged.

"Say the truth except for the Akatsuki part and the Orochimaru part." he chuckled to himself. "You have to hold back on the abilities that you've learned in the Akatsuki. It could mark you as suspicious if you do." I nodded again and finished packing.

"When do I leave?" I asked in monotone. He smirked at me and turned around to leave.

"Now."
