CHAPT3R 53V3N

“There, now, don’t ever go in my room again without asking!” I was now dressed in a gray long-sleeved short dress and was bashing in Kakashi’s head.

“Alright, alright!” he yelped when I hit his head again.

“Now… why are you still here?” I asked and he frowned, crossing his arms.

“Because… I wanted to be.” He mumbled and I smirked, putting my hand to my ear.

“What? Can’t hear you!” Kakashi groaned.

“I said because I wanted to be here! I want to be your friend.” He raised his voice and I giggled smacked his arm.

“Good, because I wasn’t going to let you go that easily.” I took another sip of my drink, starting to slightly feel the buzz. “Alright, that’s enough for me, I want to be sober.” I told myself as I sat the glass on my bedroom floor. We were relaxing on my bed, drinking on the second bottle.

“What’s your favorite color?” Kakashi suddenly asked and I grinned.

“Dark orange, what’s yours?” I answered.

“Blue. What’s your favorite animal?” I frowned for a moment.

“Would it be a crime to say that I like goats more than foxes?” He chuckled but shook his head.

“I like dogs.” He said and I crossed my arms, leaning more into my bed.

“Alright, what’s your favorite meal?” I asked and he seemed to think about it.

“I don’t really have one, but I do like dango.” I grinned.

“Want to hear this funny story?” I asked and he nodded.

“Why not?”

“Okay, so the day before yesterday I raided Naruto’s kitchen of his ramen while he slept.” Kakashi raised an eyebrow and laughed a little.

“Why would you do that?” I shrugged.

“I found out that he lives next door so I decided to give him a ‘warm welcome’.” We both laughed some more and I glanced at the time.

“Alright, I’m starting to get tired, time for you to leave.” I yawned and stood up, picking up all of the drinks. Kakashi took his own glass and followed me into the kitchen.

“I had fun, let’s do this again soon.” Kakashi said and I smiled.

“Yeah. We can invite Gai and some other jounin’s… or chunins like Kotetsu.” I rambled on and he scowled.

“Do we have to invite Gai?” I laughed and shook my head.

“Nah, it was just a thought. Now, I want to get some sleep, so goodnight.” I took Kakashi’s glass out of his hand and he waved before leaving. Damn, I’m glad I can fake yawn. I just really wanted to see Kisame and the others. Maybe this time he will actually talk to me instead of trying to kill Tobi.

Maybe I could tell Kisame that I am sort of having second thoughts on the Akatsuki, that maybe I’d like to not return. Because frankly, I am starting to get those thoughts. Especially after hanging out with Kakashi earlier. Damn… I’m sure if it’s okay to think like this.

I went into my room after fetching my ring from my cloak and lay on my bed, making the right hand sign. As I felt my soul go out of my body, I grinned.

I appeared right in front of Hidan and scared the shit out of him. It was so funny.

“AHHH!… Yuki?!” Hidan fist pumped the air. “Hell yeah! Yuki is back!” I rolled my eyes.

“No I’m not you retart.” He fumed and stomped away.

“Tobi! Yuki is here!” Hidan called and shot me an evil smile. I glared at him as I heard pans clatter from the cafeteria and rushed footsteps.

“YUKI~~!” Tobi sung and I face palmed.

“I’m not here to see you.” I stated flatly and he anime cried. Then I looked up and saw Kisame just walking in. “Hey Kisa-Chan.” I growled at Tobi and manipulated the water he was about to throw on Kisame to hit himself instead and freeze over his mask and hair and wherever else the water hit. Then I moved the ice that was attached to him, making him move, and dragged him out of the room.

“Yuk, you shouldn’t be here.” Kisame said quietly and I smirked.

“But I can be here, so I will visit.” I said matter-of-factly.

I guess you could say that Kisame and I are close. He is like an older brother to me, although he has admitted to me that he has fallen for my charm like everybody else.

Blah.

“I just don’t want you getting into trouble with Leader-Sama.” He murmured, stepping forward. I sighed and looked away.

“Kisame, I want to talk to you, alone.” I raised my voice when I said ‘alone’ and I heard two males groaning.

“God dammit Tobi, I told you we’d get caught!” I heard Hidan yell and I frowned slightly. Well it was obvious they were still there, I hadn’t heard them ever leave.

“Come on, it would be private in your room.” Kisame said and I nodded. I was the only one with no roommate and my walls were soundproof with ice surrounding the walls.

“Lead the way!” I waved and he nodded. As we neared my bedroom, I started to get nervous and fidgeted around. Kisame glanced at me for a moment before sighing. I think that he knew that this was a really serious topic. We went into my room and Kisame shut the door. I sat on my bedroom flood and huffed.

“I need some of your magical shark wisdom.” I muttered and he glowered at me.

“I’m not a shark. I just look like one and can breathe in the water.” He growled and I smiled, although I really didn’t feel like smiling. “Now tell me what’s wrong.” He kneeled down in front of me and put his large hand on my thigh, caressing it, although neither of us felt its touch and his hand kind of went through my leg.

“Well… I’m not sure if I want to stay in the Akatsuki.” I blurted and he immediately froze, slowly bringing his hand away from my thigh.

“W-what? Yuki, you know what Leader-sama will do to you if you don’t come back.” He hissed and stood up.

“I know! But I’ve never had a normal life, and in Konoha… its downright Heaven compared to here.” I argued and Kisame groaned frustrated.

“He will kill you Yuki!” Kisame yelled and I flinched. Kisame has never yelled at me, but I wasn’t prepared to back down.

“Just- just please, Kisa-chan. Please cover for me a little bit! Why won’t you let me have a normal life for once?” I begged and the look in his eyes told me everything. I stood up and glared at him.

“I’m going. Go ahead and tell Pain, tell everyone, like I care.” I snarled and held up my fingers. “And if somebody tries to retrieve me, I will not hesitate to attack.” With that, I transported myself back into my comfortable bed in Konoha and fell right asleep.

The next morning I could tell that today would be a shitty day. I did my normal routine and ate a fast breakfast. I filled my canteen and slipped my water bottles into my cloak. With only ten minutes until the meeting time, I decided to get there a little early.

I teleported to the bridge where we had decided to be our new meeting spot and waved to everyone, it seemed like they also thought it was a good idea to go early. Kakashi told me last night that he was going to be late, well duh, but he said that today was just going to be a training day with no missions and I could start them out before he got there.

“Hey guys.” I said from my perch on top of the railings that they were on. Naruto being a klutz freaked out and pushed me off the bridge. I didn’t bother to catch myself as I felt myself falling. I landed head first in the deep freezing cold water and waited for a minute to emerge.

I looked up at Naruto, who was freaking out along with Sakura as Sasuke was just watching me with a curious expression.

I suddenly planted chakra in my feet and hands and hoisted myself on top of the water, just standing there. All three of the genin gawked at me and I sighed, manipulating the water off of me and dropping it back into the stream. I jumped back onto the bridge with my chakra and put my hands on my hips.

“Now that wasn’t very nice.” I said and Naruto seemed like he was thinking I was going to kill him. “Well, I guess we’re even now because I DID take some of your ramen…” I trailed off and instantly tensed. I wasn’t supposed to say that. Oops…

“I thought that my ramen stock pile was running low!!” Naruto exclaimed and I smirked.

“I guess I’ll have to treat you to a bowl to make it even.” Naruto cheered and I grinned. “But only if you can get Sasuke to smile.” Naruto gagged and shook his head while Sasuke glared at me.

“Never!” Naruto glared at Sasuke and Sasuke simply looked away.

“Alright, let’s go to the training field and start the day.” I finally said and the three of them nodded.

“What’s Kakashi-Sensei doing?” Sakura asked in her ‘I’m such a suck up’ voice. I smiled at her and said in a straight voice.

“Probably reading porn.” Naruto cracked up laughing along with my small chuckles as Sakura turned bright red. Serves her right, damn kiss up.

As we were walking to the fields, I couldn’t help but to glance around in case one of the Akatsuki were here to capture and kill me on the spot. That’s what they do if you try and back out of their organization. And I was afraid because I knew that one of the members could actually do it.

And that, my friend, is Tobi.

I don’t know why he is able to do this, but he can practically make his body into a hologram, so things could just go right through him. He also has the Eternal Sharingan, or something of the sort, which makes it even more hectic to think about. And he can teleport anywhere he wants, even if he hasn’t ever been there before. He is one scary guy if you really think about his abilities and not think about his mentally retarded personality.

We got to the training grounds and I put them to work right then.

“Twenty laps around the training grounds, and after that you can do fifty pushups and sit-ups.” Sakura tried to protest, but I held my hand up. “You may each have one water bottle though.” I pulled out three water bottles and tossed one to each of them.

“It’s half ice!” Naruto yelled and my eye twitched.

“Well duh, don’t you want your water cold for the whole day? I don’t want to freeze the outside of it because that would freeze your hands.” Naruto groaned but stuffed the water bottle in his jacket pocket. “Off you go now~!” I shooed them away and sweat dropped when I saw that Sasuke had left already. Naruto shouted at Sasuke and ran to him while Sakura was being smart by just keeping at a slow jogging pace.

I sighed and lay on the ground, stretching my arms out and getting out my canteen in the process. I took a sip of my vodka, but was looking around with cautious eyes the whole time. They could be anywhere, and they can strike whenever. I just hope that Kisame actually is going to try and cover for me; it possibly could save my life.

“Why are you looking around like that?” I yelped startled and sighed in relief when I saw that it was only Kakashi. He sat down next to me and took the canteen out of my hands. “You are going to die from alcohol poisoning one day.” He said under his breath and I rolled my eyes after he took a secretive drink himself.

“Somebody is after me, a few people actually.” I murmured and his visible eye widened.

“Do you know who?” he asked and I nodded solemnly. I really didn’t want to tell him, but I knew that he would push it until I told him.

“It’s the Akatsuki.” I said quietly and his eye widened even more, jaw dropping.

“What?! Why would they be after you! We have to tell the Hokage.” I grabbed his arm sleeve as soon as he started getting up.

“No Kakashi, this is my problem. Then it comes to the time where I must go for the sake of the villages safety, I will go.” I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was even holding in. Kakashi huffed but sat back down. “I have come across quite a few of their secrets while I was with him. They found out about it and now I’m positive they are going to be sending either the leader, or the strongest member to kill me.” I swiped back my canteen and took a drink. I shook the canteen and sighed miserably; it was already halfway empty.

“You should really go see the Hokage, he might be able to help you.” I looked at him with a frown.

“No, and you better not tell him anything you just heard moments ago.” Kakashi groaned and stood up. I grabbed his hand and he looked at me with concern.

“I promise I won’t say anything, but I hope you choose what’s best for all of us, not just yourself.” I let go of his hand and looked down to my lap.

“I know…you just need to trust me.” That was when Naruto and Sasuke came running toward us, Sakura still far away and dropped to the ground, both greedily drinking their water and taking a small break. When Sakura finally came over, she took a few gulps of her water and started to do her pushups, motivating the boys to do them too. If I have to leave soon, sadly, I will miss them.

“I trust you.” Kakashi whispered in my ear suddenly, making me jump. I didn’t notice that he had walked behind me. I took a long drink of my vodka before tossing it up to Kakashi, who looked at me strangely.

“Damn right you better not drink any.” I snapped at him right before he turned around to have a drink. He smiled nervously behind his mask before nodding. I sighed and unlatched my cloak, knowing full well that everybody was now watching me curiously.

“Sakura, what pushup are you on?” I asked and she turned a little red.

“15…” I smirked.

“Kakashi, sit on my back.” I got into a perfect pushup position and Kakashi looked very doubtful of me. Well he doesn’t know that I did 200 pushups with Kisame or Itachi on top of me every single day at the base so blah. “Dude, just get your ass on my back and you three continue your pushups.” I finally said and soon realized why Sasuke and Naruto were both staring at me. “God dammit stop looking at my boobs you freaking perverted children!” I yelled at them with a glare and finally. Finally Kakashi sits on me.

I did my pushups, making sure it was easy for Kakashi to keep his balance on my back and when I got to fifty I lurched backwards to throw Kakashi off, swiping back my canteen.

“AH!” Kakashi screamed while he flew back about a hundred feet. I stood up and dusted off myself, latching back on my cloak.

“That was my thank you, Kakashi!” I called and then figured out that Kakashi wasn’t there anymore. I ducked down, and felt a kick fly over my head. I grabbed his leg and manipulated water out of somebody’s water bottle to freeze his other foot in place, making him stuck there.

I did a little spaz dance then, singing to my favorite ‘I’m awesomer than you’ tune.

“Can’t touch dis, dunnununun uhnun uhnun, can’t touch dis!” I flashed Kakashi a small smile while the four of them sweat dropped. I unfroze his leg and thought about putting it back in the water bottle, but I decided against it. That could just be mean if I did.

“Come on guys, let’s keep at it.” Kakashi finally said annoyed and I collapsed back in the grass, taking another drink of my vodka.

So Naruto and Sasuke started on their sit ups while Sakura was on her 30ith pushup, sweating like crazy. I think I’m going to have to do something to make her stronger.

“100 pushups Sakura.”
