CHAPT3R 51X

“You… pass!” Kakashi announced happily and I groaned. I cut down Naruto’s ropes and held out my hand.

“Fess up.” He grumbled before digging into his pocket, pulling out a gay-looking frog wallet. But I didn’t mind because it seemed that he had quite a bit of money. He looked in there before sighing. “Dude, just give me a little, you only owe me a little.” I said finally after we all stared at him. He grinned at me and gave me a cheap coin that said 1 yen. I got an irk mark but put it in my cloak.

“Come on Kakashi, we got to stop at my apartment for some money first.” I muttered and Kakashi nodded. Sakura clasped her hands together.

“Are you going… on a date?” she asked excitedly and I glowered at her.

“No you twit.” Kakashi sighed and poked my arm.

“Let’s go, I don’t have all day.” I waved at the three annoyed looking genin and pointed to Sasuke.

“You better smile the next time I see you or there will be consequences.” He glared at me before walking away.

“S-Sasuke! Wait! I’m coming with you!” Sakura stammered and ran after him. I watched while Naruto ran after her and asked her on a date, obviously getting rejected.

I sighed and turned to Kakashi. “Let’s go I guess.” I said and led the way to my apartment.

When we got there, I could tell that Kakashi was surprised at what my apartment looked like. How there was barely anything in there. I scratched the back of my head.

“Uh, I haven’t gone furniture shopping quite yet.” I mumbled kind of embarrassed. Why was I feeling this way? Kakashi nodded and leaned against the kitchen counter. “Hold on, I’ll be right back.” I said and went into my room before remembering something.

My ring! It’s in the bathroom! I jogged into the bathroom and let out a breath when I saw my ring untouched. I took it and slipped it in one of my cloak pockets. I am so lucky that Kakashi didn’t go into the bathroom yet.

I went back into my room and got out enough money for a few bottles of sake and vodka and walked calmly into the kitchen once again. I saw Kakashi looking at something and I peered over his shoulder and grimaced. It was a picture. The only picture I had of my horrible childhood, the only thing that reminded me that was real.

“That wasn’t meant to be seen, Kakashi.” I whispered and he jumped, turning to face me.

“I-I’m sorry! I just saw it and…” he stammered, trailing off and I smiled, gently taking the picture out of his hands and looking at it. It was me chained onto the table that they had performed experiments on. I was dressed in bloodied rags, my hair cut short and dirty. But that small pained smile that was on my lips at the time, and my father and mother who were dressed in black cloaks and kneeling down next to me with evil little smirks.

I sighed and set the picture down, the front of it hidden and ran my hand through my hair.

“That… was most of my childhood.” I admitted and his eyes widened. I hated these awkward conversations. But, I had a feeling like I had to do some intense story telling or Kakashi will ask questions, and we don’t want that. I went and sat down on the couch, and Kakashi joined me.

“By the time I was three years old; I was experimented on and tortured. I was the snow countries top secret weapon. Scientists, including my own parents, decided that they wanted to make me a monster on my fifth birthday. And so they did something very, very horrible to me.” I remembered everything that happened. From my father’s laugh while he burned me to the intense pain in the aftermath.

Kakashi seemed to be very much into this story. Damn, I may not get any drinks tonight.

“What… what did they do?” Kakashi asked and I smiled a small sad smile. I suddenly stood up and unlatched my cloak and watched as it draped down to the floor. I slowly lifted up my shirt, revealing my scarred black seal and showing Kakashi.

“They made me into a monster.” I whispered softly. Kakashi looked up to me in pity and I shook my head, pulling back down my shirt and sitting back down. “I didn’t tell you all of this so you could pity me, and stop looking at me like that. I’m not done with my story.” He furrowed his brow but nodded.

“Now… where were we?

:: Flash Back::

I cried out in agony, my stomach and limbs felt like they were on fire. My father held a fire poker in the coals to become unbearably hot and then he walked back to me, laughing all the way to where I was shackled.

“This is the last part of the experiment, I promise, my dear tool.” My father didn’t even call me his child. “Open your mouth.” He ordered and I opened my mouth as wide as I could. What was happening to me? What was my father planning? “Tilt your head up.” I did as he said and then worst thing he could have done happened.

He thrust that burning red hot fire poker down my mouth, down my throat, until his hand almost touching my mouth. I was screaming so loudly, the pain was too much for me.

“The stick was coated with fox demon blood. You are now part fox demon.” My father informed me over my endless screams. I just wanted the pain to stop. I blacked out from the pain, as it was too much for me.

They spent the next year training me and my fox demon side so I could easily control it. They let me out of that room into a little fenced off outdoor area, and they worked me to almost death every single day. They only fed me one piece of bread and a cup of this disgusting red liquid, which I later found out about, was fox demon blood.

And then one guy came and ‘rescued’ me.

:: Flash Back End::

“Who came?” Kakashi asked and I frowned.

“A simply horrible person.” I softly said and Kakashi’s mouth dropped.

“Orochi” I cut him off by putting a finger to his masked mouth.

“Please… don’t say his name.” I mumbled, taking my finger off of his mask. Kakashi nodded slowly.

“I’m sorry I’m asking this, but are you still with him?” I frowned at him.

“No, hell no. If I was, I’d probably be with somebody else that goes by the name of Kabuto. They didn’t trust me, yet they fueled me with power, and new jutsu. I had learned my water manipulation from him. But I really do hate him. He was an annoying perverted bastard.” I sighed when I looked out the window. It was dark.

“God dammit, we got to go!” I hissed and stood up quickly, checking if I still had the money. Kakashi stood up also and walked to the door, but I grabbed his arm to stop him.

“You can’t tell anyone what I just told you. Even the Hokage.” I warned and he crossed his arms.

“Why not?” he asked and I frowned.

“Because it was my personal shit and I don’t want him not trusting me.” He seemed to think about it and finally nodded.

“I understand. Now let’s go.” I nodded and followed him to the liquor store. I must be super lucky because the store owner was just cleaning up to go. I shoved money in Kakashi’s hand and pushed him in.

“All the vodka you can get!” I said and he nodded, stumbling into the store.

It took about five minutes until he was out with three bottles in a brown paper bag. I grinned at him.

“Yay!” I cheered and he sighed.

“I am such a bad influence.” He muttered to himself and I smirked at him.

“You know that you love it.” I drawled and he sighed again.

“Just hurry up and lets go.” He mumbled and I laughed.

“See? You just can’t deny me.” I said sarcastically and he chuckled.

“Yep, I have completely fallen for you.” He continued, in the same sarcastic tone.

We made it back to my house and I manipulated some water out of my kitchen sink as I took out the first bottle. Then I surrounded the bottle and froze the water.

“There, that should cool it off in about a minute.” I announced and he smiled. “You can stay for a glass if you want.” I mentioned and he sighed.

“I probably shouldn’t be here, and besides, don’t you think it’s kind of weird that I’m here?” I raised a brow at him.

“Why would I be? You are technically my only friend.” It felt odd saying that he was my friend. I think he was, but I still wasn’t sure. I’ve never had a friend, other than the Akatsuki members. Kakashi sighed quietly and leaned against my kitchen counter.

“I am eighteen.” I shrugged.

“I am fifteen.” I said and he face palmed and got threateningly close.

“What I’m trying to say is that I’m too old for you.” He stated and I smirked.

“Then why are you here?” I asked and backed away, getting out two glasses. Sadly, I don’t have any fancy drinking glasses yet. Kakashi stayed silent as I poured two drinks of ice cold vodka and manipulated the melted water into the sink to go down the drain.

I handed him a glass before sighing dramatically. “If you want to leave, go ahead. If you want to not be my friend, go ahead. If you want to not ever talk to me again, go the hell ahead.” I gritted my teeth and took a long swig of vodka. When I looked back up and put my glass away from my face, Kakashi’s glass was empty and he was just pulling up his mask. “Sneaky little shit.” I said under my breath.

“I don’t mean it like that Yuki.” Kakashi said quietly, breaking the never ending silence. I waved my hand around, dismissing the issue.

“Whatever, I’m taking a shower, you can stay or you can go.” He set down the glass on the counter and huffed. I didn’t wait for him to respond.

I filled up my glass again and waved from behind me as I walked into the bathroom, locking the door. Don’t want Kakashi, the porno reader, getting any ideas. I started the shower up, stripping off everything and finished off my glass right before stepping into the ice cold water.

I quickly smothered on some vanilla scented shampoo and conditioner and massaged my head, thinking about none other than Kakashi.

What the hell was he getting at? I just wanted to be his friend, and he had to go and push me away. He’s such a dick. But maybe… maybe it’s for the best. I can’t get attached to Konoha. But… sadly I think I already am.

I rinsed off my hair and the rest of my body, shutting off the shower and hopping out. I manipulated all of the water off of me and wrapped myself with a towel.

Damn, I thought. I forgot my extra clothes in my room; all I have is my cloak. I groaned and tried to tighten the towel. I kicked aside my dirty clothes. He’s probably not even here anymore, I tried assuring myself and willed myself to open the door and go into my room as quickly as I could.

Although, when I opened the door, my eyes widened to the size of saucers.

“KAKASHI!!!”
