I stood there frozen, unsure what to do.

I was shocked to the core.

Besides, his mask was on so either way I couldn’t really get into the kiss.

But… I could kiss back. I gripped Kakashi’s flak jacket and pulled him closer and I felt him smile from beneath his blue annoying mask. Do you know how goddamn annoying it is to kiss someone who’s wearing a mask that covers their lips? Well, if you don’t know, it is.

He was the one to pull away and he just gazed into my wide eyes.

“Thanks for your hospitality!” I thanked them and bowed slightly. Yesterday’s fight with Zabuza and Haku turned out to be really easy. Haku sacrificed himself for Zabuza and Zabuza sacrificed himself to kill Gato. Nobody spoke of the kiss either, and that made me really happy. Right now, it would be very awkward if Sasuke randomly asked if the kiss felt good or not.

But it was our time to go, and I was silently thanking the gods. I wasn’t sure how much more I could take of this place!

I wasn’t wearing my cloak, it was stuffed in my pack, and it was beyond heavy. I could barely handle it. Then again, I did something very naughty in the middle of the night last night; I remember it so clearly… so awesome. So worth the extra weight.

Last Night- 2:30 AM.

Kakashi was passed out as I found my cloak and empty pack and sneakily went down the stairs and started shoving bottles of vodka in the open pockets- and there were a lot.

I then stashed my cloak in my pack and bolted back upstairs in case anybody was about to get up for a drink of water. I slipped under the blankets and snuggled close to Kakashi, he was my source of warmth. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer, letting me bury my head in his chest, like last night.

Then I drifted off to sleep, dreaming about little puppies and kittens… well, me shooting them and roasting them over a fire.

Have I ever mentioned that I hate dogs and cats?

Present Time

I looked up to Kakashi as he walked by my side. Him being a ninja and all, he noticed and peered down curiously.

“Is something wrong?” He asked and a mental light bulb lit up.

“My bag is so fucking heavy…” I complained, trailing off and looking away.

This shall work in three, two, one…

“Would you like me to carry it?” He asked and I beamed at him, my face brightening up. But in my mind I was fist pumping and cheering about how smart I am.

“Sure!” I said and lifted the bag off of my back. “But be very careful with it, the stuff inside is very breakable and I would be very pissed if you broke it.” I warning and he nodded, giving me an eye closed smile.

“I think I can handle it, Yuki-chan.” I grinned at him and handed him the bag. Him not realizing how heavy it actually was, almost dropped it as soon as he got a hold of it.

“Holy shit this weighs a lot!” Kakashi exclaimed and I smirked up at him.

“Language mister.” We both laughed quietly at my little sarcastic joke and I watched him put the pack on his back with much strain. I have a feeling he is going to have a sore back tomorrow…

As we walked home, we cracked small jokes about anything and everything while keeping a small eye on the genin. We walked through the village gates in peace… well until Naruto had to disturb it.

“Sakura-chan, will you go out with me?” he asked Sakura with hopeful eyes. Sakura got an irk mark and she pounded Naruto in the face.

“No!!” Then something that made me almost bust out laughing happened. Sakura ran in front of Sasuke, stopping him from leaving and clasped her hands together.

“Sasuke-kun, will you walk me home?” she asked, as hopeful as Naruto was.

“No.” he replied bluntly and I decided to continue the chain. I spun around on my heels to face Kakashi and clasped my hands together like Sakura had just done and grinned at him, winking.

“Oh, Kakashi-kuuun~!? Will you walk me homeeee?!” I asked dramatically and obnoxiously, causing many heads to turn to us. The entire team anime fell and Kakashi sweat dropped afterward.

“Uh… sure?” we all laughed, excluding Sasuke-Mc.-Emo-Pants of course, and we all finally started walking to our own homes.

We entered our silent apartment and Kakashi pulled both of our packs off his back, setting them down on the ground.

“I have to go report this mission in, but after that do you want to go eat some Dango?” I smiled and looked up to him, enclosing the space between us.

“No.” I said simply and his jaw dropped as he looked at me dejectedly.

“But, whyyyy?” he pouted as my smile widened.

“Because, dumbass, today is bath with vodka Tuesday.”
