3rd P.O.V.

The sound of heavy footsteps and heavy breathing can be heard from a distance, a person with flaming red hair similar to flames is seen running through the forest in a panic.

???: *heavy breathing* I have to hurry! I got to make it!

Rushing through the forest with tremendous speed, the young man believes he still isn't fast enough to reach his destination on time.

???: *thought* Still not fast enough! Maybe using the first form will work?

Taking a deep breath, the young man uses a type of breathing method or should we say... Breathing style to increase his already impressive speed.

???: First Form: Unknowing Fire!

With this Breathing style, the young man blazes through the forest and leaving a trail of flames behind him.

Flashback....

This young man name is Y/n L/n, the only child from his family. His mother passed away after giving birth to him leaving his father to raise him on his own. Y/n later discovered from his father that on his mother's side of the family, they're from a long line of swordsman but not just any swordsman.

He and his mother are descended of demon slayers and the users of flame breathing. Before she passed away, Y/n's mother wanted to give him a book that holds all the flame breathing techniques if danger ever rise again.

Taking this to heart, Y/n start training himself on how to master these flame breathing techniques to the point he became a natural at it. His father even made sure to send Y/n somewhere remote and isolated so he can train by himself without outside interference.

However, one day... Y/n receive a letter from Dr. Matoi, his father's lab partner that he has something important to show him and it's urgent for him to return back from his training. To Y/n, it sounded serious meaning something went wrong back at the mansion, so without wasting time. He packed up his stuff including the book that belong to his mom as he rush back home.

End of Flashback...

Bringing us back to the present with Y/n finally arriving at the mansion, where his father and Mr. Matoi are doing their secret research on Life Fibers.

Y/n: *panting heavily* Made it! *panting heavily*

Taking a minute to catch his breath, Y/n start making his way inside the mansion but the second he step inside the building. He knew something felt off as he notice that most of the furniture are destroyed and whole inside of mansion is a complete mess.

Y/n: Dad? Dr. Matoi?

Walking inside more cautiously, he explore the area of the room to gather an idea on what happened.

Y/n: Looks like an all out brawl took place, not long ago. Could it possible, the Revocs Corporation discovered this place?

Exploring even further, Y/n discovered a couple of bullet holes and a trail of blood leading toward the secret lab in the basement.

Y/n: No...

Rushing toward the secret lab downstairs, he failed to notice someone was hiding in the background while holding a pair of scissor blades.

???: Oh, wow~! He's handsome and I like the flame like hair. But it's too bad, I have to kill him like the rest of them~

Secret Laboratory....

Reaching down to the lab, Y/n follow the trace of blood  which led him to find his father and Dr. Matoi lying on the floor bloodied and injured.

Y/n: Dad?! Dr. Matoi?!

Rushing to his father first, he tries to check to see if still breathing but when he place his head on his father's chest.

Y/n: He's not breathing... no...

Y/n wanted to cry for his deceased father but there was no time, when he hears Dr. Matoi faintly calling out to him.

Dr. Matoi: Y-Y/n....

Y/n: Dr. Matoi.

Walking over to the bleeding man, Y/n notice a strange blade lodged in Dr. Matoi's stomach.

Y/n: Dr. Matoi, what happened here!?

Dr. Matoi: Y-Y/n, my boy... I need you to listen... this is very important... I don't have much time left...

Y/n: We can talk more after-

Dr. Matoi: No! *cough* *cough* It's too late for me... I already lost too much blood at this point... it's important that you take this...!

Dr. Matoi pull out the blade from his stomach as he hands it to Y/n.

The second the blade land on Y/n's hands, he could feel a strange aura and power surging from it.

Y/n: W-What is this sensation that I'm feeling?

Dr. Matoi: And here...

Dr. Matoi then hands Y/n two sets of letters, one for him and the other for someone else.

Dr. Matoi: This one is from your father, don't open it until you found a safe place to call home... the other one is for my daughters... your father left you with all of his assets, you'll be fine financially...

Y/n: Dr. Matoi, I don't understand... you haven't told who did this?! Was it the Revocs Corporation!

Dr. Matoi: Is someone worse... but that doesn't matter right now...! What matters is you find my daughters and give them this letter...! *cough heavily*

Suddenly, they hear a strange sound coming upstairs.

Y/n: What was that?!

Dr. Matoi: She still here... Y/n, you need to get out of here immediately before it's too late!

Y/n: But I can't leave you here-

Dr. Matoi: Boy! Your main duty is stopping Revocs Corporation, not me. Don't let the research your father and mine work so hard to create go to waste! You must save the world, save everyone! NOW, GO!!!

Pushing Y/n away from him, Y/n understands his new mission as he says his farewell.

Y/n: Goodbye, Dr. Matoi.

Dr. Matoi: Take care, Y/n... and tell my daughters that I love them...

With his last dying breath, Dr. Matoi passes away leaving Y/n sadden and alone. But taking Dr. Matoi words to heart, he rush out of the mansion quickly.

Once he was far away from the mansion, a loud explosion is heard as Y/n turn around to see the mansion in flames as a mysterious figure escape from the burning building with tremendous speed. But what caught Y/n's attention was the giant pair of scissor blades, the mysterious person is holding.

Y/n: Giant pair of scissor blades...

Looking back at the burning mansion, Y/n could only grip the handle of the blade before drawing it out as black flames surrounded him.

Y/n: I swear with my dying breath... I will avenge my father and Dr. Matoi. Their death won't be in vain!!!
