Delivery Girl?
~Kiki POV~
I was really hoping that this town was going to be a great place for us, but after finding that so many people were rude, I'm starting to second guess myself.
Jiji and I decided to look out from a ledge and see the ocean. It was such a beautiful thing to see, if this town were better than what I expected.
Jiji: Why don't we go find another town? I'll bet there are bigger and better ones, ones that are friendlier than this.
Then, I heard footsteps behind me and I looked back, and there was this boy. He had something in his hand as he ran to the ledge.
Y/N: Oh no. Oh man. Ma'am! Your pacifier! MISS! YOU FORGOT YOUR BABY'S PACIFIER!
The woman kept walking and didn't hear him, but I kept looking at him. His face was so good looking that I completely lost focus on what was happening.
Y/N: Poor little guy. When the baby wakes up, it'll cry all the way home. I better go give this to her myself.
When he turned back around to try and find the woman, I had to speak up.
Kiki: Excuse me, but would you like me to deliver it for you?
Y/N: What?
Kiki: The woman with the baby carriage who just went around the corner. I could reach her in no time.
Y/N: Really? You'd do that? Thanks so much.
Kiki: My pleasure.
When the boy handed the pacifier, I went to take it, but our hands touched. The both of us were embarrassed about it, probably me the most as I went to the ledge to start flying to the woman.
~Y/N POV~
Our hands touched and I was feeling heat on my cheeks. I didn't mean to feel that way, but I don't know.
When this girl flew, I was amazed by how magical she was! She has to be a witch in training because of the way she's dressed and how she's flying that broom really well.
I mean, we haven't seen a witch around here in a long time and she must be the first one in who knows how long.
Back in the bakery, Osono and I were still dealing with customers until we heard the bell ring. I saw and it was the same witch that delivered that poor baby's pacifier.
We locked eyes for what feels like an eternity until a customer broke me off.
Y/N: Hey! Come in and wait a minute, I'll be right there!
She nodded and came in as I dealt with a couple more customers until I went up to her.
Y/N: When I saw you fly off, I thought I was dreaming for a second.
Kiki: The baby's mother told me to give you this message.
She handed me a piece of paper and I had to read it.
"Thanks for returning the pacifier. Your new delivery girl is really quite special."
Kiki: Well, I'll be on my way.
She turned around to leave, but I had to stop her.
Y/N: Wait, hold on there. I must do something to show my thanks.
Kiki: I'm good. I ran into a boy that was so rude, he didn't introduce himself to me.
Y/N: Well, that's not who I am. Come on, let me make you something.
Before we went up to our home, I had to let Osono know that I was going to treat this girl to some hot chocolate.
Y/N: Aunt Osono, I'm gonna be right back.
Osono: Alright.
She smiled as I took the girl up to my aunt and uncle's house upstairs. I'm known in this town for being respectful and polite, so I'm gonna make sure that this girl was treated with respect.
Y/N: Follow me, bakery is downstairs while the upstairs is home.
When we finally got up there, I had to make sure that the girl and her cat were fed.
Y/N: Sit down and relax. Would you like some hot chocolate?
Kiki: Okay.
I poured some cocoa into two mugs, poured some hot water into the mugs, stirred around, and gave one to the girl and a bowl of cream to her cat.
Y/N: Here you are.
Kiki: Thank you very much.
Y/N: And, this is for you, little guy.
I sat down and we decided to talk, but I had to introduce myself to her first before going on with the conversation. Tombo didn't think about introducing himself first, so I think I should do what he should've done.
Y/N: If you were talking about Tombo, then I apologize for what happened. He's just an idiot sometimes.
Kiki: You know him?
Y/N: Childhood friend, but unlike him, I introduce myself before talking to girls. The name's Y/N, by the way.
Kiki: And I'm Kiki, and Jiji is my very best friend.
Y/N: He seems like a cute cat.
Kiki: He is.
Y/N: So tell me if I'm right, you must be a witch in training.
Kiki: I really love it here, but people don't seem to like witches in this town.
Y/N: They all have their opinions and whatnot. Take me, for example, I just met you and I know I like you.
Why did I say that? Now she thinks I'm a creep.
Y/N: Sorry if it came out wrong.
Kiki: It's okay.
Y/N: Whereabouts are you two staying?
Kiki: Uh...
Y/N: Oh, I see. Why didn't you tell me you have no place to stay? My relatives and I have a spare in the room in the attic. You can use that.
Kiki: You'd really let me stay with you guys?
Y/N: Why not? Once I tell my aunt and uncle about it, they'd be all for it. Let me find you a blanket.
I did find one. It was a Queen size one that I thought would work pretty well as I found a mop and bucket as we headed up the stairs for the other room.
Y/N: It's right up here, Kiki. It may need a little dusting, but I think you'll like it.
Once we opened the door, it was so dustier than I remembered,
Y/N: Oh man. It's a little bit dustier than I remember. If my aunt weren't about to have a baby, she'd help you clean, but I can help you with that.
Kiki: That's okay.
Y/N: Are you sure?
Kiki: I'm sure.
Y/N: Alright, then. Water and shower are downstairs. Give a shout if you need anything.
Kiki: Thanks.
I walked back downstairs with a smile, but I do think that Kiki is such a cute girl. From the bow on her head to her freckles, my God, what if I ask her out down the road?
~Kiki POV~
I really am thankful for Y/N to let me stay here, but I can't forget how handsome he is! From his hair, to his face, my word, he's so dreamy, more so than the boy he calls a friend in Tombo.
Jiji: This is... quaint.
Kiki: Jiji.
We went over to the bed to see how dusty it was, and there was so much dust after sweeping a bit of it off the mattress that I legitimately coughed.
Jiji: Hmph! If you wake up in the morning and you find a white cat, it's me.
After looking out the window and at the ocean, we had to sleep, but I still couldn't get Y/N out of my head!
(A/N: Yep! That's it for this chapter!
How are you guys liking it so far? If you want to see Y/N be more generous to Kiki than usual, let me know!
As you can tell, I'm going through the whole movie, but not to the point it's a complete remake of it while having Y/N be the main focal point of the story.
Hope to see you in the next chapter!)
