Chapter seventeen
Bellamy woke up the next morning, his arms loosely wrapped around Jessie. He slowly sat up, trying not to wake Jessie up as he pulled away from her. She let out a whine form the loss of contact but thankfully she didn't wake up.
Bellamy walked into the en-suite bathroom, doing his business before washing his face and brushing his teeth. He quietly walked back into Jessies room, going straight to the dresser. He pulled out a pair of black Adidas sweatpants and a plain white T-shirt.
He pulled the clothes on before getting a red beanie and pulling it over his messy hair. Bellamy walked out of Jessies room, quietly closing the door behind him as to not wake her. Walking into the kitchen he made himself a bowl of cereal, eating it quickly.
After washing the bowl and spoon he checked the time, 6:38. Jessie was going to wake up in an hour and a half to get ready for school so Bellamy grabbed his jacket and wallet before hurrying out of the apartment.
__________
Jessie woke up to her alarm going off at 8:30. She let out a groan as she started hitting her alarm clock, hoping it would shut up. But it didn't, so Jessie sat up in her bed, grabbing the alarm clock and hitting the 'off' button mulitple times.
She let out a sigh when it finally turned off, putting it back on her nightstand. She looked around her room, furrowing her eyebrows when she realized Bellamy was gone. Jessie got out of her bed, walking out of the room and down the hallway.
As she walked into the kitchen the front door opened, in walking Bellamy with breakfast. Jessie lets out a chuckle as she walks up to him, taking the food and setting it down on the counter. She wraps her arms around his neck, pulling him in for a hug.
"Sorry, I went to go get breakfast." Bellamy chuckles, hugging her back. "It's fine, just leave a note I though you left me." Jessie said, a tsmile on her face as she walked over to the counter, taking a coffee.
"I would never leave you, Princess." Bellamy said, walking over to Jessie and wrapping his arms around her so that her back was pressed against his chest. Jessie felt her cheeks start to heat up as she leaned against Bellamy.
"And I won't ever leave you."
__________
"Taxi!" Jessie called, hailing a taxi.
Finally after ten minutes of the two trying to get a cab they managed to get one. Jessie and Bellamy climbed into the backseat of the car.
"Where to?" The driver asked, looking in the rear veiw mirror to get a better look at the two.
"Times Square, please." Jessie replied, earning a nod from the driver.
Once they arrived Bellamy payed the driver before the two got out of the car. They were going to the dinner they had gone to the night before. Jessie couldn't stop thinking about it, the way it made her feel like she was in the 60's.
After walking for a couple minutes the found the small diner. They walked in, heading straight for the booth they sat at the night before. "You two again?" The waitress smiled, walking over to them and handing them each a menu.
"Yup, couldn't stay away. The chicken tenders were to good." Bellamy grinned back, causing the waitress to chuckle. Jessie took this time to look at her nametag, Emma. "And what about you, dear? Same thing?" Emma asked, looking at Jessie.
"Yeas please." She said with a smale, handing Emma her menu. She walked away, most likely to the kitchen. "Chicken tenders. Chicken tenders. Chiiicken tenders!" Bellamy sang queitly, tapping a rythem on the table with his fingers.
"You're such a loser." She giggled, watching as Bellamy continued his song. "Yeah, but I'm your loser." He grinned, reaching across the table to hold my hand. "Yeah, you are." Jessie said quietly, watching as he rubbed his thumb over her hand.
__________
"Oh my God, I'm so full." Bellamy groaned as they walked out of the diner. "Well, that's what happens when you eat like fifty chicken tenders." Jessie laughed as they walked down the sidewalk. He let out a little huff as she tried to hail a cab, this time it came right away.
They got into the backseat, Bellamy telling the driver to go to some place Jessie's never heard of even though she's the one that lives here. "Where are we going?" She asked Bellamy, but he only shrugged his shoulders, a small smirk on his lips.
"It better be worth it, I have an exam tomorrow morning so I can't stay out to late." Jessie told him, looking out the window. "Trust me. It'll be worth it." He smiled, taking her hand in his. Jessie turned her head to look at him, but when she looked out his window she saw a car coming towards the,.
Suddenly there was a loud crash, the sound of metal on metal being heard. Jessie could smell smoke then everyting went black.
