Karson's pov
Today was the day that I would meet Ashton, and I was freaking out.

I was so nervous that I'll screw up and make a terrible impression, that I won't look good. I was pacing back and forth until it was time to leave. I said bye to my dad and got in my car. The drive to Starbucks was at least a 15 minute drive.

When I got into the parking lot at exactly 2:30 and I was proud of myself for being on time for once. When I walked in I looked around to find Ashton, but I didn't. So I decided to sit in one of the booths and wait.

About 2 minutes later, I hear the bell ring, signalling that someone was here. I look up and see Ashton.

Oh my gosh, here we go. I think to myself. He notices me and sends me a smile and walks my way. He sits down on the other side.

"Hey Karson..." he says quietly. He's obviously just as nervous as I am. Thank god for that. "Hey Ashton." I say.

"Wow, I can't believe we're actually meeting. And that you're real." he says.

"Yeah, same here. You're way more cuter in person." I say smirking a bit. "Stopppp. Now I'm blushing. Thanks a lot loser." he says hiding his face.

"Mission accomplished." I said as my nerves start to slowly disappear. "Ugh, you're just like the way you text." replies with rolling of the eyes. "Am not. I can be different. I just choose not too." He laughs at my response.

"So you wanna go to the park across the street?" he asks. I nod and we both get up and head towards the door. We walked across the street to the park and sit down on one of the benches, while sitting in silence for a few minutes. Til Ashton spoke up, "What do you wanna do now?"

"I don't know, we could play on the swings? Being the children we are." I said, feeling my inner kid come out.

"But you're 16 and I'm 19." he says, laughing and rolling his eyes at me. "So, that doesn't mean anything. Let's go have fun." He laughs again but agrees. We make our way over to the swings and play on them for a little while then he decided to have some fun and pushes me out of the swing and runs away. I quickly get up and run after him attempting to catch him which I do.

When I'm able to catch him, I grab his left wrist and pull him into me and wrap my arms around his waist.

"That wasn't nice to do." I pouted.

"I know."

"Oh I'm gonna get you back."

"You wish." he says. And that's how the rest of the day goes. We played on the playground, chased each other to death and had fun. Til he said he had to go home. He gave me a hug before he left and I smiled. I drove home, got in bed and fell asleep with a smile on my face.
