EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Elina Carrera was nothing like her twin sister. Kiara was all about nature and saving turtles and what not, and Elina on the other hand, while she was all about saving the planet, was more into what JJ was into, and more of a rebel. Kiara was always the perfect version of Elina and it showed. But nonetheless, the sisters still stuck together like glue, and nothing could ever keep them apart.

Except maybe Sarah Cameron. When Kiara and Elina had nobody, Sarah Cameron suddenly popped up out of nowhere and the three of them became close as can be, Elina even developed a tiny crush on Sarah. The three of them were as thick as thieves and nothing could bring them down, until the drama between Kiara and Sarah happened. That drew the three of them farther apart. Especially Kiara and Sarah. And Elina tried not to let herself and Sarah fall apart but it just happened on its own. Now, All Elina can do is just watch and stare.

Until one night at a local boneyard party. Somehow the two of them got caught playing truth or dare in a circle of Kooks, and as it always goes, Sarah and Elina got dared to kiss and it all went from there. Most nights, they would secretly have a relationship with each other, hookups and what not. And at the end, each kissed each other goodbye and never spoke until the next night. It went on for a good two months, until Sarah suddenly gets involved with the Pogues, and their secret relationship isn't so secret anymore.

NOTES:

— Based off the song I Wanna be your Girlfriend by Girl in Red!

— Unlike Kiara, Elina loves being a kook and quite enjoys it. However she is not against the Pogues at all and it wasn't right away but eventually Elina hangs out with them just like her sister.

— When Kiara finds out about Elina and Sarah, oh she will be pissed all right. Pissed about her sister and ex best friend going behind her back. Kiara finds out, and you can decide how she finds out, but she finds out before the boys leave Kiara and Sarah on the boat. Elina will be left on the boat as well because of her fight with her sister.

— JJ and Elina are close. Like really close. He once had a crush on Elina but soon found out that she's a lesbian and he was cool with that. Still has a thing for her sister though. Oh yeah Elina isn't a drugie but occasionally she does love the good weed. Much to her sisters dismay.

— Pope and Elina are the besties in the group. They especially get super close when Elina figures out that Pope has feeling for her sister and she helps comfort him.

— Elina isn't mad about Sarah and John B, at first. She understands because Sarah isn't ready to come out yet and it is a cover up. For now. Sarah is pansexual. Elina is with Sarah till the end.

— So, based on the quote, Sarah and Elina kinda have a small falling out. In the middle of the story Elina gets fed up with Sarah not wanting to pursue a solid relationship yet. Hence the quote I don't wanna be just your friend.
