Chapter 6

Yoo Ri's P.O.V

It was just another ordinary day. Sort of.

Hyunwoo came over, to have breakfast with me.

And he brought me to a nearby food court to eat out.

"I don't know what's happening." I sighed, ranting to Hyunwoo about everything that has been going on.

"I think all you have to do is wait." Hyunwoo said.

"He didn't call me last night though. What if there's no more hope and he can't escape..." I was uneasy at that moment.

Hyunwoo was thinking with me. He didn't know what to do either.

"Don't worry. I'm sure he'll think of something. He won't just leave you like this. There's way too many loopholes to the story anyways." Hyunwoo said.

"I genuinely think my parents sent people to follow me. Just look to your 4 oclock." I told Hyunwoo, casually taking a sip on my drink.

Hyunwoo slowly turned around to his right, then took a quick glance at the people over at that table.

As soon as they made eye contact with Hyunwoo, they looked away as if they didn't care.

"Yea, it's suspicious. Very suspicious." Hyunwoo said.

"I think they've been following me everywhere. Even me and Jungkook. Yesterday Jungkook said something weird too. He said something like he had a gun pointed in his head." I explained.

"You know what that means, right?" Hyunwoo's eyebrows crashed together immediately.

"It means that Jungkook is being threatened. And most probably, his life is on the line. This isn't a joke, Yoo Ri." Hyunwoo leaned in and whispered to me.

I gulped nervously, then looked away.

"It can't be that serious." I said.

"It is. You need to accept that fact." Hyunwoo said.

"If that's true, then I have to talk to Jungkook about it..." I muttered underneath my breath.

"Yep. And if you can't, you'll just have to find a way to. Discreetly." Hyunwoo explained.

Discreetly.

I can do that. Right?

"Jungkook, tell me." I asked.

I've been begging him to tell me what's up.

And he's trying to avoid the question.

"Which game do you want to play?" He asked, looking at the stack of game discs.

"Jungkook, I know something wrong is happening." I told him, this time, grabbing his shoulder and looking straight into his eyes.

He was taken aback, and he froze there, staring back at me.

"I-It's nothing." He said.

"Just, whisper. They won't know." I convinced, and Jungkook looked around. He knew people were watching us.

By people, I mean the spies. From probably another house, using binoculars to watch us. Or the cctv.

"I need to follow their orders." Jungkook sighed, "they're threatening my life."

I gulped instantly.

"Continue. Explain." I said.

"I really shouldn't." Jungkook nervously said.

"Jungkook I need to know. I can end all of this misery, especially the fact that I can get Jimin out of that pathetic asylum." I raised my voice, and the boy was stressing out at that moment.

And after that, he dropped whatever was in his hands and cupped my face, bringing it closer to his.

He did it.

He kissed me. Our lips simply collided.

Just that it wasn't just a peck. But a kiss.

A kiss where he moved his lips with mine. I didn't know what to do, and I only froze.

Until he let go of me, seperating from me.

I widened my eyes, and slightly staggered back.

"N-No, what just happened." I asked, staring into blank space as I felt my cheeks turn hotter and hotter.

"I like you. A lot." Jungkook admitted.

I looked at him, our eyes locked for so long as I stammered.

This is too wrong.

"It's just... You keep talking about him. I can't stand it... Can't it just be me and you? I finally, have the chance, to be with you alone. But it's really just, not gonna work out if you keep, talking about him." Jungkook explained.

I had to take a while to process that.

"Jungkook... This isn't okay... I-I-I really don't think you should think of me that way." I stuttered, anxiously trying to escape from this nerve wrecking talk.

"What if I can't help it?" He asked, this time, leaning closer to me, grabbing my shoulders.

"No, Jungkook. This is just, not what I wanted." I said.

I can't possibly like him.

"But why won't you even give me a chance?" Jungkook raised his voice, now at me.

And now, my eyes widened. Not at Jungkook's remark, but what I saw in front of my eyes.

A gun pointed to Jungkook's head. The man stood on his left, with a sly smirk.

"That's because she's mine." That was his voice. Jimin.

He cranked up the gun, and my heart raced increased rapidly, from the fear.

"Jimin, what are you doing!" I shouted, wanting to get him away but he applied strength on Jungkook's head.

Jungkook closed his eyes, and took a deep breath.

Yet, he was biting his lips uncontrollably.

"This, could kill him, Yoo Ri." Jimin chuckled, "Good thing asylums have guns."

He smirked and leaned nearer to Jungkook.

I took a step nearer, and Jimin turned to look at me.

"One more step and I blow his head off." Jimin calmly said.

I gulped, and stood still.

"Jimin... How did you get here?" I asked.

"Shut up with the questions. This man over here kissed you, I watched every single thing, miserably. Thinking whether to give you a chance." Jimin said in disbelief.

"J-Jimin. D-Don't do anything to him. I-If you need to, do it on me." I stammered alot.

"Oh no, you're defending him now?" Jimin pouted sarcastically, changing the direction of the gun to my head.

"No! Don't you dare put that gun to her head!" Jungkook screamed, pouncing onto Jimin.

Jimin whinced in pain, yet not showing his expression.

But he still had the gun.

"Jungkook get away." I bellowed.

I looked at the cctvs and realised, they weren't working. There was no red blinking light that showed that it was working.

"Run, Yoo Ri. " Jungkook said, and Jimin flipped him over almost instantly.

"If you leave me, I'll shoot him in the head." Jimin looked at me, pointing the gun straight onto Jungkook's head.

"W-Wait. Stop. Y-You can take me. Just, let him go." I stuttered, slowly approaching Jimin.

"No, Yoo Ri, run right now!" Jungkook screamed.

Jimin smirked, and he took out a syringe from his pocket.

"I'll be nice to you. I found this in the sick asylum, it makes you, well, sleep." Jimin chuckled insanely, and the needle was right at Jungkook's neck.

Jungkook tried to push Jimin off, but he couldn't.

He failed.

"Jimin, don't!" I begged, already holding him by his shoulder.

"R-Run!" Jungkook said in between breaths.

Jimin was only focused on getting that needle into Jungkook's neck.

I looked at Jungkook, the only thing that I knew he wanted at that moment, was for me to run.

"You run, and this needle will be pointless. Because I'll just end his life simply with a bullet." Jimin calmly said, focusing on the needle still.

He tilted his head, slowly.

I saw the crazy side of him.

"I-I'll stay with you." I gulped.

If I ran, Jungkook would be dead.

And at that moment.

Jungkook was silenced.

And he didn't move.

Jimin did his job.

As soon as he did, he turned around. Looking at me with a sinister smile, but it quickly changed to a frown.

"I wasn't here, just for awhile. And you're here... Alone with Jungkook... Letting me witness both of you kissing? I can't let this happen anymore, can I?" Jimin said, walking closer and closer to me.

He took the gun, the tip of it gliding across my jaw lightly.

"You've been, a bad, bad girl, Yoo Ri-ya. And I think, I'll have to do something about it, right?" Jimin said, his face closer to mine.

"We should leave soon. Before any more of your crazy security guards come. But you'll cooperate with me, will you?" He asked, his eyes trying to be innocent.

I gulped in fear, without a choice, I nodded.

And everything from then on, I forgot.

(SKIP)

Until now.

Woke up, conscious again.

And this absolutely reminded me of the dram I had recently.

The one about Jimin abducting me.

Is this a dream?

I was in a room, hands and legs both tied together.

"Hello, my love." That voice echoed throughout the room.

I looked at the man, staring at me with a sweet smile.

I couldn't understand how such a sweet and nice man like him could've done this.

"J-Jimin..." I gulped, fear engulfing me.

"We're together again. Aren't you happy? We're together, and alone." Jimin chuckled.

"W-Where are we? " I asked, looking around.

"W-we're right here. The place where we first met." He grinned happily, his eye smile showing.

He seemed like the most innocent boy on earth.

Thinking back to his words, I realised, this place is familiar.

In fact, very.

"You abandoned the house. But it's okay, now we're back." Jimin said.

This used to be my home.

And that means... I can't get out.

"We can live here forever." Jimin softly said, "And die here, together."

I widened my eyes, not wanting to say anything that could trigger him.

He's really going crazy. In fact, he already is.

"You can't do anything about it..." Jimin said as I struggled to free my hands and legs, "Because,"

He smiled slightly, scoffing.

"I kidnapped you."
