Chapter 4
Jungkook's P.O.V
That happened.
I actually dropped her into the water.
She screamed her lungs out and instantly, I helped her up to stand on her feet.
She couldn't swim. Even when she knew the floor was right at her feet.
"You won't drown, don't worry." I chuckled, holding her up as she shivered.
"I-It's cold." She stuttered, holding herself.
Oh no.
"Do you want to-" I was about to suggest to get out but she was a cunning girl.
She took this chance to trip me underwater, causing me to lose balance and my face crashing into the water.
I quickly lifted up my head and stood up, wiping the water away from my face with my eyes closed.
"Gotcha." She folded her arms and smirked at me.
I splashed water at her, and she covered herself with her arms.
"Hey!" She pouted, "That's it, this is war."
And both of us played in the water, until we both got tired.
Yoo Ri's P.O.V
"Oh man, we didn't bring any spare clothes." Jungkook worriedly said as soon as we walked out of the beach area.
"Hey, it's your fault." I frowned.
"How about we go there. We can go get a new set of clothes." Jungkook said and I agreed.
"Let's go then. I'm starting to feel slightly uncomfortable because of the water." I said.
Jungkook knew exactly why.
My hands tightly gripped onto my shirt, bringing it away from my skin.
The wet clothes were sticking to my skin that it showed alot, it made me slightly embarassed because everyone would see.
"Wait," He said, standing infront of me and bending down, "Jump."
And I did as he said.
I climbed onto his back and made myself comfortable.
"Ah, I'm lucky you're light." He chuckled, "I'll carry you to the clothes shop. Once we get there, you go into the fitting room. I'll get something for you. I don't want you to feel scared if people stare later."
I nodded as soon as he finished speaking.
He was caring.
He had empathy.
"Thank you." I said, softly into his ear, almost about to sleep because of the comfort on his back.
"It's nothing. Just want to make sure you're having a good time." He said.
He did remind me of someone.
That was Jimin... Just, more optimistic.
"Can I see Jimin... Ever again?" I asked and his footsteps became softer.
"Yoo Ri, it's a long story. We can talk about next time. When... I'm ready to tell you, or when you're ready to know." He said.
"Anyways, we should go back after this." He changed the subject and I frowned.
What exactly was so bad?
"Look, I'm sorry. I'm not supposed to tell you anything. Well, at least for now." The man said and I only nodded my head, trying to understand what was going on.

He bought new clothes for both of us. He insisted to. Even when I knew I could afford everything myself, he insisted to.
And now we're in his car, waiting.
He was putting on his seatbelt, whereas I only stared into blank space, thinking about Jimin.
"Is Jimin going to forget me?" I asked, yet not looking at Jungkook, just at the same empty space as I was looking at earlier.
I only heard a deep sigh.
Jungkook looked at me, then leaned over me, my breath hitching on his neck. I leaned back instantly, and I heard a soft chuckle from him.
His hand was pulling hard on the stubborn belt.
That's right, I forgot to put on my seatbelt.
"I can do it." I said, trying to push him away.
"Let me." He said, and then the seatbelt finally worked properly.
He pulled it over me, making sure he didn't touch me, then buckled my seatbelt safely.
"Remember that next time." He said and I nodded.
"Thank you." I muttered, and he nodded as a response.
"I know you're still thinking about Jimin. I know you love him and you need to see him and all but," Jungkook suddenly said, huffing out.
He turned, really facing towards me.
I found it rude if I didn't look at him, so I did.
And I regret it.
Because his eyes are just sucking me in. Absorbing me in.
"Today, focus on me. Not anyone else. It's just a moment for me and you. Got it?" He said.
That would've been something Jimin would say...
I knew he wasn't like this.
He was never affectionate.
And with that, he stepped onto the paddle and we drove off.
But I was silent, for his words were still a big blow to me.
Jungkook would never say that.
He's always cold and quiet.
It's just not him to be saying that.
It's a new side to him.

"Well your brother told me to stay here with you until he finished his schedule, so I guess that's that." Jungkook awkwardly said, walking around the house.
"Oh, I see." I pursed my lips, then sat down on the couch.
Jungkook was looking at the picture frames and their pictures, studying them.
He smiled, then picked up one certain picture.
"You look cute here." He chuckled, showing a picture of me when I was 4 years old.
"Not anymore?" I joked and he only shrugged cheekily.
Just like a how Jimin would like to do that to me.
Hm.
"I've always wondered about something," Jungkook spoke as soon as he placed the frame down with a thud sound.
I raised an eyebrow and looked at the figure.
He turned around, then stared down at me.
"Have you drank alcohol?" He asked.
Gosh.
I know what alcohol does to people.
But I've never tried it.
I shook my head no, then slowly looked down.
Yet I could tell that the man was still staring at me.
"Were you ever curious? Or do you even know how capable alcohol is of ruining your purity?" He smirked, then walked closer.
I looked down, avoiding his gaze.
What question was that...
I wasn't exactly... Curious.
When he was right infront of me, he bent down, then stared at my face again.
Only with a big smile now.
"You look cute when you're scared." He pinched my cheek and then chuckled, "Maybe I can bring you to a club one day. It's a fun place. But dangerous. It'll be addictive though, trust me." He snickered.
"N-No thanks," I stuttered, "I'll be too out of place."
"You won't be out of place if you go with me. So what do you think? Wanna go this weekend?" Jungkook asked, "You won't get found out if you sneak out. And I won't tell your brother. Plus, it's something you should at least experience once in your lifetime."
He was right.
I've heard of these clubs. But I've never really got the chance to go to one.
I knew the dangers of it.
"Nevermind, you need some time." He slightly giggled.
He asked what we could do at this moment. All I could suggest was a movie.

"Hoseok!!" I went into his room, not even knocking.
Jungkook brought me to their dorm.
"What the he- how did you get here?" He asked as soon as he saw me, taking of his headphones.
"Just coming to check on you." I chuckled, and Jungkook followed me from behind.
"I'm gonna bring her to the movies later." Jungkook stated.
"I see you two are getting close." Hoseok looked at us, skeptical, raising one eyebrow.
Jungkook looked and me and we both only awkwardly smiled.
"Well I would join you two but, I have a schedule later. And I'm still writing songs now." Hoseok pursed his lips and started to stretch his arms.
I felt so bad for him, yet I knew I shouldn't be. Since he loved his job so much.
"But Hoseok-ah, I want to... Request something." I softly said, rubbing my arm.
He knew that I was anxious about something, then his eyebrows went down, showing his worried expression.
Yet, he sighed, as if disappointed.
"It's about Jimin, isn't it? You want to see him? That badly? Right?" Hoseok commented, holding my hand.
I nodded my head, and suddenly heard fast footsteps going further away. Oh man.
Jungkook just left the room, just like that.
That's when I remembered what he said.
He said to focus on him, only him. Just for today. And I can't even do that.
"How about. I let you see him. Once. Just once. And you don't see him ever again, unless he's back to normal." Hoseok asked, looking at me with glistening eyes of his.
I processed what he said in my mind for a while, then realised what his deal meant.
I get to see him. Just once more.
And I'll get to hear the truth. Or see the truth.
And I won't be left in the dark, suffering in curiousity.
"Can I?" I asked, and Hoseok bit his lips.
"Just once. I'll tell Jungkook to bring you to him. One last time. And... Yoo Ri, don't be too surprised if he changed." Hoseok said.
What could've been so bad?
"No." That sound came from behind me, and it was Jungkook, just leaning onto the door and looking into blank space
Both me and Hoseok stared at him, waiting for him to continue his sentence.
"He's going to hurt her again." Jungkook coldly said.
I pouted, then looked down.
It can't possibly be so bad.
"Jungkook. Just let them... Have their last goodbyes. And protect her incase anything happens." Hoseok ordered the younger one, and he reluctantly nodded.
Jungkook tapped my shoulder, then I looked straight into his orbs.
"So no movie?" He asked, frowning. I shook my head guiltily, but he understood.
"Maybe another day." He said, "You mentally and physically prepared?"
I didn't understand what he meant. And he knew I was confused.
"To see Jimin." He explained.
I dropped my jaw slightly, knowing what they meant.
Jimin.
It can't be so bad.
I'll find the way go get him back, right? I can.
There will be a way.
Jimin knows he can do it.
I'll just have to help him.
"We'll take our leave now, bye Hyung." Jungkook said, pulling me away by my wrist as he used his other hand to wave goodbye to the elder.
"Please be safe." He pleaded and Jungkook chuckled, nodding.
"As long as she's with me, she won't get harmed. Trust me." Jungkook assured the brother and the two only smiled.
Why are they speaking as if Jimin turned into some maniac monster that's out to harm people?
Even if he turned insane... He should still have his personality. He can get back to hid real self.
He can't just lose his sanity like this...
There's too many loopholes.
I'm certain something happened.
He couldn't possibly have just turned insane.
No.
There's something else to this story.
