Maddy's jaw dropped open.

"Xander as in..." Maddy trailed off not wanting to get too ahead of herself.

"Yup. He has told me a lot about you," Alexa said grinning.

Maddy leaned her head against the wall of the truck. She was talking with her best friend and crush's sister. Not only was Alexa Xander's sister, she was his twin sister. Talk about pressure. Maddy knew that Xander had a sister, but she didn't know that he had a twin. They didn't really talk about personal stuff. If Xander was Alexa's sister, this meant that...

"Hold up. You are telling me that Xander is a werewolf?" Maddy asked, incredulously.

"Yup!"

"I'm going to kill that guy. To think one of my best friends didn't tell me that he was a werewolf, when I was fangirling about werewolves to him all the time," Maddy muttered, angrily.

The sound of the lock turning interrupted their conversation. Both Maddy and Alexa scrambled into their positions for the execution of the plan. Maddy slept on the floor, acting unconscious. Squinting, Maddy saw the red-haired guy come in, check Alexa's ropes, nudge Maddy with his foot slightly to check if she is still unconscious and then he call out, "The human is still unconscious and the other one's hands are still tied."

After he left, Maddy quickly got up and start untying Alexa's ropes. They had a few minutes to start executing their plan. Red-haired guy had always checked on her and then after a few minutes brought her some food. Knowing that he would do it once again, Maddy didn't untie Alexa before.

After a few minutes of struggle Maddy was able to untie the rope. She didn't know why they hadn't tied up Maddy as well. Either they seriously underestimated her, or they had expected her to stay unconscious for a longer time. Whatever it was, Maddy was grateful that they hadn't tied her.

When the red-haired guy came, he first gave the food to Alexa, who was sitting near the door with her hands behind her back, acting as if her hands were still tied up. God knows how he expected her to eat from a plate with her hands tied.

He then kept the plate of food near Maddy, who was still acting unconscious. While he was setting down the plate, Alexa got up and locked the door from the inside. Hearing the sound of the latch, the guy turned and when he saw that Alexa's hands were untied, his eyes widened. Not wanting to give him a chance to scream, Maddy quickly got up and tapped him on the back. The moment he turned, Maddy roundhouse kicked him on the face. The guy stumbled back and Maddy did a mae geri kick which contacted his abdomen and he flew back. Well, not literally but you get the idea. It looked quite comical and like a scene straight from the movies.

Alexa quickly hit him in the side of the neck and the guy fell down unconscious. Maddy had specifically asked Alexa to not kill any of the werewolves. She wasn't ready to see dead bodies.

Maddy once again sent a quick thank you to Leia and her dad for convincing her to go to self-defense classes. Maddy wanted to use the ring as well but Alexa told her to not use it unless necessary so that they could have an element of surprise in case things went downhill.

Alexa whistled softly, "That was awesome. I like you more and more by every second."

Maddy grinned at her.

Maddy quickly got out, careful not to make a sound so as to not alert the other two guys. While Maddy stayed guard outside and checked if the guys were watching, Alexa quickly removed her clothes and shifted into a wolf. When she came out, she nudged Maddy's leg to get her attention. Maddy stared at the wolf with awe. This was the first-time a werewolf in wolf form wasn't trying to kill her, so she took her time to admire the wolf.

After a minute of waiting for Maddy to stop gaping at her, Alexa ran away from the truck and started howling. Maddy watched as the bald guy who was sitting in the truck with the other guy, got out and started running towards Alexa, trying to catch her. Maddy ran up to the black-haired guy who had gotten out of the truck as well. Maddy punched him on the stomach hoping that he would let his guard down like the red-haired guy, but he quickly recovered and before she knew it, he grabbed her and pushed her against the truck with his arms around her throat, suffocating her.

Maddy started choking and clawed at his hands, desperately trying to remove his hands from her throat. The guy growled at her, smiling sickly and started telling her something. Maddy couldn't hear a single word as she was trying hard not to die. Counting this as an emergency, she quickly took out the ring from her jeans while he was talking to her. Wearing it on her right hand, she punched him with that hand. The punch was weak, but because of the silver ring it did a lot of damage. He yelped and left her. Maddy used all her energy and punched him hard in the temple and he too fell unconscious. Maddy took a few gulps of air, still recovering from being choked and watched as the places where she had punched the guy started to blister. Clearly, silver was harmful to wolves and was her biggest advantage.

Maddy knew that had it been the bald guy she would have been out in two seconds flat as he seemed to be stronger than all of them. She couldn't imagine how Alexa was holding against him. Running to the place where two wolves were fighting, she saw that Alexa had managed to distract the leader while Maddy was fighting the other guy, but Alexa was getting tired. She watched with horror as the leader pounced on Alexa and bit her neck. The two wolves fell on the ground and the leader was trying to tear of Alexa's neck. While he was distracted attacking Alexa, Maddy ran towards the wolf and ran her right hand over the wolf's back. Immediately the skin where the ring touched, started blistering. The leader howled loudly and backed away from Alexa. He whimpered slowly, clearly in pain and then fixed his gaze on Maddy.

Maddy's eyes widened. She might have knocked out two werewolves, but she wasn't some super human and by the way the leader was looking at her, even superman would have been scared. If looks could kill, she would've been dead. Maddy slowly tried to back away as the wolf started moving towards her. She didn't have to worry though as Alexa pounced on the leader and pressed her paw into his throat, preventing him from breathing effectively, which knocking him out. It was an unfair fight, two against one but it was a matter of survival. Besides, they had ganged upon Maddy as well.

Alexa went inside the back of the truck, changed and came out. When Maddy pointed out the several scars she had on her face, Alexa waved it off and said that it would heal quickly as she was a werewolf. Maddy removed her ring so that she didn't hurt Alexa by mistake. The two of them dragged the other two kidnappers into the back of the truck along with the red-haired guy. After rummaging through their kidnappers' belongings, Alexa found some rope and the two of them used it to tie up the kidnappers.

They locked the door from the outside. The two of them went to the front of the truck and sat. Alexa started driving towards the direction from where they came. Alexa drove extremely recklessly, speeding near the speed bumps just because she felt like it and nearly hitting all the passersby.

"You forgot to hit that old lady. Do you want to go back and hit her as well?" Maddy said, sarcastically.

"Shut up!" Alexa shouted, happily. She was clearly enjoying the trip back. Meanwhile, Maddy held on to her dear life the entire time, praying to all the gods and goddesses she could think of.

True to her words, a few hours later Maddy saw that all of Alexa's wounds had disappeared. Maddy however, still had a few marks where the guy had grabbed her neck.

Maddy grinned at how ironical it was. The kidnappers were tied up while Alexa and Maddy were sitting in the front, with air condition, listening to Taylor Swift on the radio. The two of them ate the food which was supposed to be for the kidnapers and were having the time of their lives.

It was late in the evening when the two of them saw a car moving towards them at a speed which was way past the speed limit. It was dark and they couldn't make out the car. They both were on high alert when the car stopped in front of them and two figures ran out of the car before it even stopped. Maddy and Alexa looked at each other, confused. Who were these people? Were they friends or foes? The two of them quickly leapt out and Maddy once again wore the ring. Better to be safe than sorry.

Maddy went closer to get a better look. The first figure was that of a guy with dark brown, almost black hair that looked like it hadn't been combed in a hundred years, but somehow managed to look sexy. His eyes were a striking bottle green that sparkled in the moonlight. He had an olive skin tone and a jaw that could easily cut through butter. His shirt was tight fitted and you could see the slight outline of his abs through the t-shirt. Who the hell was he? He looked like a fricking god. Maddy would be lying if she said that she wasn't drooling over the guy. Not exactly the best idea to drool over a guy who could be a friend of her kidnappers, but she couldn't help it.

However, it was the second figure which made her stop in her tracks and gape.

"Leia!?"
