"Don't fight. We'll surrender for now. No point in getting hurt," Xander murmured to Leia and Maddy. Maddy nodded, allowing Xander to take the lead.

Tooth-necklace lady strode forward. Even among all the bulky men who were almost double her size, she was a natural leader.

"So, you've brought reinforcement. Wait. Is that-," she stopped abruptly when her gaze landed on Xander. The way tooth-necklace lady looked at Xander, made Maddy's skin crawl. She started walking towards Xander and stopped when she right in front of him. With one of her fingers she traced Xander's face. Xander stiffened under her touch and took a step back. Maddy internally vomited at the thought of tooth-necklace lady and Xander together. Even Katie and Xander seemed like a better match.

"Hmmm... You are the future Alpha of the Amalthea Pack. Boss wanted us to capture you. Guess you made our work easier."

She then proceeded to examine Xander's face. A few seconds later she cooed, "What a pity that such a pretty face will be wasted. Maybe boss will let me have some fun before killing you. Yeah, I'll ask him about it."

The three of them grimaced at that thought. Maddy wanted to slap the crap out of tooth-necklace lady, but she clenched her fist and remained in her place. Xander wasn't hers to be possessive over him, in the first place.

Next, tooth-necklace lady looked at Leia.

"You are pretty too I guess, but I don't swing that way," tooth-necklace lady said, cackling at her own joke. "We will take her to the dark market, I am sure that people will a high price for her."

A low growl came from the bushes and tooth-necklace lady snapped her head towards that direction. Maddy's eyes widened. She had almost forgotten that Jeremy was hiding there. The fact that Leia was going to be sold to some sort of a dark market did not sit well with Jeremy. Maddy started coughing loudly, trying to cover up the growl. Tooth-necklace lady narrowed her eyes towards Maddy.

"Search the bushes," she commanded and immediately two of her lackeys started searching. Thankfully, they didn't find Jeremy or Alexa.

Next, tooth-necklace lady's gaze landed on Maddy. Maddy tried not to show any fear, but failed. The lady reminded of Bellatrix Lestrange. They both had an air of insanity surrounding them.

"A human. I wonder what a human tastes like. If the myths are true, humans taste delicious," she said licking her lips.

Maddy immediately takes a step back. Eating her? This just proved the fact that tooth-necklace lady was insane. The way tooth-necklace lady smiled at her made her want to retch. Thinking about it, maybe the tooth that the lady was wearing was one of her victims. The teeth looked like a human one, so Maddy had assumed that it as one of her milk teeth that fell of or something but now, knowing how insane the lady was, the tooth was probably the tooth belonging to one of her first kills or something. A vicious growl interrupted the flow of her thoughts.

"Don't touch her," Xander growled at tooth-necklace lady. Leia too glared at the lady and her body posture was stiff as if she was about to punch that lady's face any second. Maddy slowly crept her hands towards her pocket where the silver fork was to check if it was still in place.

Maddy snarled and used the fork on tooth-necklace lady. She stabbed her in the stomach. The fork didn't get deep enough to kill her, but it harmed her all right. Toot-necklace lady screamed loudly and Maddy covered her ears at the shrill sound. That scream would haunt her in her dreams. Fifteen guns were immediately pointed at the three of them and would have blown their heads off, if tooth-necklace lady hadn't stopped them.

"Don't worry Alpha," she said, smiling at Xander. "Boss specifically told me to bring her untouched if possible. You three will be taken to the hotel where the matefinder is kept in another week. As for you," she said directing her gaze on to Maddy. "You are feisty. I would have liked having you as a friend if you weren't in the other side of the war."

Maddy shivered. Being friends with an insane girl? No, thank you.

The three of them were dumped into a room in the safehouse once they were stripped off all their weapons including the silver fork. The room was poorly lit and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There was one window beside the mattress that had grills and one mattress on the floor that was so small that even Maddy wouldn't be able to sleep in, forget about the two other werewolves. A blanket was placed on top of the mattress, but when Maddy lifted it up a cloud of dust spread across the room.

Maddy had some sort of dust allergy which made her extremely sensitive to dust particles. After no more than two seconds of trying to lift the mattress, she started sneezing. Even the werewolves were coughing and sneezing because they were part werewolf and had sensitive noses. It would have been a funny scene to watch if Maddy wasn't the one sneezing her head off. The room looked so depressing that Maddy almost wished that they put the three of them in some sort of dungeon. At least they won't have to keep sneezing because of the amount of dust.

"I can't stay in such a room," Leia declared.

"Well, what do you think we should do?" Maddy asked.

Leia gave Maddy a sympathetic look and then said, "I think Xander should flirt his way to a new room. The main girl is the one who holds most of the power here and she is clearly interested in Xander. If you could be your usual self and flirt with her, I think she might give us a better room."

Xander turned pale and shuddered. "Flirt with her? Even I don't want to do that. You can smell insanity on her from miles away."

Maddy was secretly happy with Xander's reaction but didn't say anything.

Leia put her hand on her hip. "Then what do you propose we do? Watch Maddy sneeze her head off while we sleeping on the floor and die because of suffocation?"

Xander shifted uncomfortably and after two minutes of thinking, he agreed.

The next time tooth-necklace lady came to our room, Xander sauntered towards her. The girl narrowed her eyes, trying to see what he was up to. Xander leaned casually against the door frame and smirked at her. It was one of those smirks that gave Maddy butterflies even when it wasn't directed towards her. It was no wonder that tooth-necklace lady practically swooned at him.

"Did I just sneeze? Cause God sure did bless me with you."

Maddy nearly snorted at the pick up line. Only Xander can come up with pick up lines about a sneeze.

Tooth-necklace lady blushed but narrowed her eyes. "What do you want?"

"This room is so dusty. As you know werewolves have sensitive noses, and I'm continuously sneezing. My nose is turning red," Xander said while rubbing his nose in an adorable way that made Maddy want to give him a hug. Maddy immediately shook her head. These kinds of thoughts were not allowed. Xander was destined to be with another girl, for goodness sake!

The girl sighed, "I'll see about it. If you behave nicely, you might get one."

Damn, that girl must have had a high restraint if she was able to think while Xander was flirting with her. The girl glared at Maddy and Leia once more, before locking the door.
