Arabella's POV

I walked into the Man Cave with Charlotte and Mary, we were just at lunch together enjoying some girl time. It's hard to spend time together when we always have one of the boys around. I love all of the boys, but I need some girl time with my girls without any of them intruding our space.

Last week, Henry and my dad caught the criminal Stainless Steve, but two new crime fighters came in and took the credit. The Thumb Buddies is what they're called and my dad and Henry aren't fond of them for taking the credit of their capture.

We stopped in our tracks when we saw Jasper standing there with a 'Thumb Buddies' t-shirt on.

"Uh, what are you wearing?" I asked Jasper.

"Oh, this is my Thumb Buddies shirt!" Jasper beamed.

"You better take that off," Charlotte advised as we continued forward. I sat down on the couch with Mary as Charlotte went over to the monitor.

"No," I denied. "Don't do that. I don't wanna see what's under it."

"Why?" Jasper asked.

"Have you seen your belly button?" I asked him and Jasper rolled his eyes.

"I was asking Charlotte," he told me. "And rude!"

I grinned at him.

"Cuz, last week, Ray and Henry caught that criminal Stainless Steve and those Thumb Buddy guys took credit for the capture," Charlotte informed him.

"So?" Jasper asked and she rolled her eyes.

"So, Ray and Henry were pretty mad about it, so if I were you I would take that shirt off," Mary advised and Charlotte nodded.

"If you have another shirt to wear," I add. "I don't wanna see that belly button of yours."

"My belly button is beautiful!" Jasper protested, proudly.

"Keep telling ya self that," I winked at him, before the tubes shot down and my dad and Henry landed in the Man Cave.

"Hey, how'd it go at the baseball game?" Charlotte asked the superhero duo.

"Oh, I don't know, I'd say it went pretty well!" My dad beamed and I grinned as Mary and I stood up.

"Yeah, I mean, we didn't do that much other than uh-"

"We fought a bear!" My dad exclaimed and my eyes grew in shock.

"We fought a bear!" Henry repeated and I looked at Mary, who was also shocked as the two boys freaked out and cheered.

"Yes! Yes!" The cheered.

"Hey, hey! What bear?!" Jasper cut in and the boys calmed down.

"Okay. Okay, so I'll them the story," Henry began an my dad sat down on the couch.

"Yeah, yeah," my dad nodded.

"Okay, so, these college kids brought a real life bear to the baseball game!" Henry laughed and I giggled, walking up to him.

"Just to be funny," my dad added.

"Yeah, it was hilarious!" Henry agreed.

"Totally!"

Jasper picked up a bowl of chips and ate them as my dad and Henry told the story.

"Anyway, until the hotdog guy came out," Henry began.

"You know, wieners?" My dad asked.

"I love wieners!" Jasper grinned.

My mind isn't as innocent as it used to be.

"So, the bear gets a whiff of the wieners and loses its mind!" My dad continued, "and just chases the poor wiener guy out into the field!"

"So, Ray, chases the bear onto the field!" Henry laughed, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

"I did! I did!" My dad smiled.

"Check this out! He tackles the bear!" Henry exclaimed and my mouth fell open in shock and laughter.

Mary snickered, covering her mouth.

"I tackled a bear! I tackled a real life bear!" My dad announced, pacing forward, "and the bear goes, 'uhhhhhhhh' with spit coming out of his mouth. He just keep going, 'uhhhhhhh!' Then he just slashes at me and his claws just scrap across my face!"

"Oh my god!" Charlotte gasped in shock and Mary was jus watching in astonishment and I was smiling at the two boys.

"Yeah, yeah! And I guess he thought that Ray was gonna go down or something like that!" Henry scoffed in disbelief and I laughed.

That poor bear.

"But, instead, the bear goes, 'ohhhhhhhh!????' Which I guess in bear language probably means-"

"Uh-oh, I guess this human's indestructible!!!" Henry imitated and I laughed at his voice with the boys.

"We're a lot smarter than a bear!"

"A lot smarter!"

"That's insane!" I laugh and Henry pulls me into his chest, kissing my head.

"Wow!" Charlotte and Mary chuckled.

"Unreal, man!" Jasper shook his head.

"My baby is so brave," Mary cooed and my dad hugged her with a sweet smile.

"That's right," he said and held her waist, kissing her cheek.

This does put a smile on my face.

"Hey, let's turn on the news, I bet they're talking about us right now!" My dad laughed with a large smile.

"Oh, yeah, let's hear what they're saying about us!" Henry laughed and we all went over to the monitor as Charlotte pulled up the news.

"Okay, coming on now!" Charlotte said as she turned on the news.

"And Trent this all happened moments ago?" Mary asked her partner.

"That's right, Mary," Trent agreed and the two superheroes smiled at one another.

"See, they're talking about us!" My dad chuckled.

"We fought a bear my man!" Henry exclaimed, holding me in his arms and I giggled.

"Okay, now, we're gonna go live to the scene and talk with the actual heroes who saved the day," Trent explained and I made a face at this.

Right now? In the Man Cave.

"What? How are they gonna interview us right now?" Henry asked with confusion.

"Yeah, because we're here," my dad agreed and the two superheroes looked around for any camera or news reporter.

"Thanks, Trent!" I looked at the screen and there was a woman in Nacho Ball. "I'm here live at Nacho Ball, where a local sweaty man committed a crime just moments ago."

"What, what, what is all this about?" My dad asked, walking closer with Mary.

"Yeah, why are they at Nacho Ball?" Henry asked and I rubbed his knuckles with my thumb.

The interviewer went up to a scared employee, "can you tell us what happened?"

"Yeah, this guy, I think his name is Jeff," the employee began and I sighed at the name. "He ordered a three-ball nacho sack and when he paid for it, he handed me a coupon."

"But there was something wrong with that coupon, wasn't there?" The interview questioned.

The employee nodded, "yeah, it was expired!"

I leaned back into Henry's chest and he rested his head on my shoulder with a heavy sigh.

"It's okay, baby," I assured him.

"Kimberly," Trent began, switching back to him and Mary. "We've just received cell phone footage of the attempted Nacho Ball crime, so we're gonna show that right now."

A young man showed up on screen about eat a chip until the camera panned over to who looked to be the female employee and Jeff himself.

"That'll be twelve twenty-one," she told Jeff.

"Oh yeah, sure," Jeff said and pulled out a coupon. "Here's a Nacho Ball coupon for twenty bucks!"

"Thanks," the woman said and took the coupon. "I'll ring this up."

"Thanks, bruh!" Jeff said as the woman checked the coupon.

"That's Jeff!" My dad pointed out.

"He's so stupid!" Henry chuckled.

"Hey, this coupon expired four days ago," the woman informed Jeff handing the coupon back to him.

"Oh, I didn't know!" Jeff admitted.

"Oh, sure, ya didn't," the woman smiled, before yelling and hitting a button that set off an alarm. "HELP! THIS GUY''S TRYING TO ROB US! Ahhhhh!"

"What the butt are you talking about-AHHHH!" Suddenly somebody tackled Jeff to the floor and then a smaller body joined in on the tackle. My mouth fell open in shock as the two subdued Jeff and then they lifted their heads up.

It was the Thumb Buddies.

"Woah, gosh! That was the bravest thing I've ever seen!" Trent chuckled as Mary was painting her nails next to him.

"What!" My dad gasped in shock and I looked at him and Henry.

"Bravest?!" Henry asked and I patted his arm.

"I have done braver things on the toilet!" My dad scoffed, letting go of Mary and walking away.

"Yeah, I know-wait what?!" Henry asked with confusion and I nodded.

"I've smelt it," I cringed and shivered are the memories.

"Shhhh!" Jasper shushed us.

"Kimberly, are you with the heroes right now?" Trent asked Kimberly through a ear piece.

"I saw am, Trent!" Kimberly smiled and the camera switches back to Nacho Ball, where the Thumb Buddies were present and a bunch of fans were surrounding them. "And once again, it looks like our city of Swellview owes a big thank you to the Thumb Buddies!"

"You're very welcome!" The taller one smiled.

"We appreciate that! Yes!" The smaller one added, before my dad marched over and muted the screen.

"Okay, who are these Thumb Buddies?! And where did they come from?" My dad asked with bitter.

"Yeah, and why are they in our town?! Doing our job?!" Henry asked with the same tone, letting me go and I stood by the others.

"Mary, Bella, Charlotte, I asked you girls last week that I wanted a full report on these guys, now where is it?!" My dad demanded and I folded my arms.

"Mary sent you an email," Charlotte explained and Mary nodded.

"Last week," Mary added.

"Well, you know I don't read my emails unless you send me a text telling me to read my emails!" My dad remarked in a sassy tone.

"I also sent you a text," Mary told him.

"We all did," I added with the three of us showing him our phones.

My dad groaned, "ahhhhh!" He paced around the place and I rolled my eyes.

"Alright, alright," Henry sighed. "Will you just please tell us who those Thumb Buddies are?

"Their just-their just guys!" Charlotte shrugged, standing up. "Regular guys who started fighting crime."

"Then, why is everyone making such a big deal about them?!" My dad whined and Mary rubbed his back.

"Well, they're new and they seem nice," Jasper began and this irritated them.

"What?! We're nice!" My dad snapped and Mary shushed him.

"Shh," Mary softly said.

"We're delightful, Jasper!" Henry snapped and I rubbed his arm, shushing him.

"Baby, it's okay," I assure him. "I think you guys may be overreacting here."

"OVERREACTING?!" They yelled and I leaned back at their voices.

"This-this!" My dad gestured to himself and Henry.

"We were under-reacting!" Henry added and I put my hands up, moving back.

"Alright," I say.

"Hey, hey, look how popular those guys are!" Jasper announced and unmuted the tv. On the screen, we could see the Thumb Buddies getting bombarded by adoring fans.

"And as you can see, everybody wants to have their taco signed by the Thumb Buddies!" Kimberly explained, gesturing to the large crowd behind her. "Back to you, Trent!"

"And Mary!" Mary chimed in as the screen switched back to the two.

"Looks like the Thumb Buddies are gonna be autographing tacos for quite awhile," Trent smiles. "So, if you're in the area of Nacho Ball, you might wanna head on over there and meet them."

I glanced back and saw a very annoyed Captain Man and Kid Danger.

"Are they kidding?!" My dad laughed with disbelief and Mary went up to him as he sat on the couch. "The aren't even gonna mention the thing we did at the baseball game?!"

"Hold on, wait, wait!" Henry shushed my dad when a picture of the Swellview Sailor mascot popped on screen.

"And now for today's news about today's baseball game!" Trent continued and my dad appeared behind Henry with eagerness. "The Swellview Sailors lost seven to three."

We waited for more about the game.

"That's it."

My dad and Henry groaned in irritation and Charlotte turned off the news.

"Alright, that does it, we're going down to Nacho Ball and we're gonna tell those rotten Thumb Buddies that Swellview is our town!" My dad declared.

"And get nachos?" I asked them.

"Absolutely, Cookie!"

I grinned at that.

"This is our town!" Henry added.

"Who needs the Thumb Buddies?!" My dad scoffed.

"Nobodies!" Henry exclaimed.

"Nobodies! I know!" My dad yelled.

"Exactly!"

Mary and I shared a look for a moment.

"I fought a bear!" My dad exclaimed.

"Let's go!" Henry said, before he kissed my cheek and my dad kissed Mary's.

"Wait, wait!" Jasper called to the two as they went up to the tubes. "Since you guys are going to Nacho Ball, can you pick me up a three ball nacho sack?"

"Me too!" I called.

"I agreed to pick Bella up something not-" my dad paused when he saw something. "What are you wearing?"

Us girls grinned as Jasper looked at his shirt and I  chuckled as he tried to hide it.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Move your hands," my dad ordered him and all Jasper did was move his hands around his shirt.

"Jasper, just move your hands away from your shirt," Henry advised his best friend, who revealed his Thumb Buddies shirt.

"Wow."

"Okay, calm down," Henry told his boss, who was very irritated by the shirt. "It's fine, it's fine."

"It's totally good! Just walk away," my dad shrugged, walking back over to the tubes with Henry.

Suddenly, my dad turned back around and picked up a blaster, shooting Jasper with it. Charlotte grabbed an umbrella and opened it in front of herself, Mary, and I to shield ourselves from the lasers that were fired at Jasper.

I watched Jasper dodge all the blasts and crawled through one of the sprocket.

"Dad!" I called and he stopped when Jasper was out of sight. Charlotte closed the umbrella and I stood up with a look of disbelief.

"Dude, that was dangerous, what if you hit him?!" Henry berated my dad.

"Oh, it was set to a light stun!" My dad objected and checked the setting, "oh, wait, yikes..."

I rolled my eyes at him and sat at the monitor as the boys left.

"I am raising myself..." I muttered, shaking my head.

-The Very Next Week... nothing really happened-

The following week, nothing much happened. The Thumb Buddies disappeared from our sights and we haven't really heard or seen from them since the Nacho Ball incident. So, everything went back to normal and Captain Man and Kid Danger were loved by everyone again.

I was sitting in the Man Cave with Charlotte, Mary, and Jasper, and my dad just received a call about a robbery at a fuel factory and needed to contact Henry. I didn't know where Henry was, he refused to tell me what he was doing, because he thinks I would laugh and make fun of him.

Henry should know by now I would definitely laugh at him, and I'll just tease him about whatever it is he's doing until I forget about it. It's what I do as his girlfriend.

My dad called Henry and he answered, but I couldn't see him from my spot on the couch.

I heard my dad laugh and I looked up him.

"Well, ahoy there, Sailor Danger!" My dad laughed and I raised an eyebrow. "Hey, everyone, get over here and see this!"

I smiled as the four of us got up and walked over to see what was happening.

"I don't want Charlotte, Mary, and Jasper to see this, especially Bella, man!" I heard Henry berate, "she's gonna make fun of me and won't live this down until the day she dies!"

I walked into view with the others and immediately started to laugh at the sight of my boyfriend in an adorable sailor outfit.

All of us laughed and made fun of Henry, who was was embarrassed and shook his head.

"You're adorable!" I laughed.

"It's funny because it's humiliating!" Jasper chuckled and I nodded, laughing before we returned to the couch.

"I love you, Sailor Danger!" I laughed.

"Shut up..." I heard him mutter and I grinned.

"Okay, kid, I'll talk to ya later," my dad said and was about to hung up.

"No, dude, you triple beeped me," Henry reminded my dad.

"Oh, right! There's uh, a burglary happening right now at that uh, fuel factory on Winchester," my dad explained to Henry.

"Ferris Fuelers?" Henry asked.

"Yep, so meet me there in fifteen minutes?" My dad asked him and I snickered at the thought of seeing Henry in person wearing that costume.

"Uh, okay, it's seven-thirty now-"

My dad ended the call without letting Henry finish and Mary gave him a look.

"Why did you hang up?"

"I got bored," my dad shrugged.

——

Later, Charlotte and I were up in the store together. Mary had gone home because she had a late night appointment to do with a student over video call and needed to be home to do it.

Charlotte and I were both eating chips and the flytrap plant was moaning at us to feed it. Since Gooch moved away, I've been in charge of feeding the plant because of my plant powers.

"Fine, I'll feed you," I sighed. "But be gentle."

The flytrap opened its mouth and I sprinkled some plant food in its mouth using my powers.

It snapped its mouth shut on my hand and I yelped, "hey!"

"That was rude!" Charlotte berated the flytrap. "She said to be gentle!"

It grumbled at us and I rolled my eyes, before my phone rang and Piper appeared on my phone.

"Hi, Piper," I greeted and Charlotte waved next to me.

"Hey."

"Hey, have either of you seen, Henry?" She asked us.

"Yeah, sure lots of times," Charlotte joked and I smiled.

"Everyday," I winked and Piper frowned.

"Hey, quit playing around! I'm wearing a onesie here!" Piper snapped, showing her onesie that had dogs on it.

"Oooo, love it!" I smile, "but why?"

"Cuz, my insane parents are trying to force us to recreate a family photo from eleven stupid years ago and we need Henry," she explained to us and I nodded.

That's why Henry was in that adorable sailor suit. I need a pic of him in that before he gets rid of it.

"Let me talk to them," Mr. Hart stepped in, grabbing the phone.

"No, dad, get your paws off my phone!" Piper protested and fought over her phone.

Mr. Hart took the phone away and spoke to Charlotte and I.

"Girls, hey, it's Henry's dad, Jake," Mr. Hart greeted and I gave him a grin.

"We see that," Charlotte remarked. "We can see you."

"Right, can you believe technology?" He asked with a smile.

"Dad!" Piper cried, but Mr. Hart swatted his daughter's hands way and sighed.

"No, just!" He rolled his eyes, "anyway, we're here at the house waiting to take a photo and Henry's disappeared!"

"Right, well-" before I could continue, the door opened and Jasper walked in with a pizza box.

"Hey, got the food!" Jasper called and I smiled, walking around the counter to meet him.

"Yay!" I beam.

"Hey on, one sec," Charlotte told Mr. Hart and set down my phone. "What kind of pizza did ya get?"

"Oh, this ain't a pizza!" Jasper remarked and opens the box to reveal a giant wheel of ribs.

My eyes grew in shock and chuckled, "woah, I didn't know ribs came in wheel form! But I love it!"

"Wow!" Charlotte chuckled with a smile.

Jasper shrugged and set down the box.

"Thanks, Jasp!" I smile and hug the boy, who smiled and hugged me back.

"Bella, Charlotte! You guys have ribs?

Last time I checked, all my ribs were still in my body, so yes I do.

I let go of Jasper and went up to my phone.

"Honey, give me the phone," I heard Mrs. Hart said.

"No, I just want to see their ribs," Mr. Hart protested, but his wife snatched the phone and showed her face to us.

"Hi girls, the ribs aren't important, because we just want to know if one of you has seen Henry, because we've been-" Mrs. Hart paused when she saw something and leaned in closer. "Are those ribs in a wheel?!"

"Yep!" I giggle.

"Yeah!"

"I got them from Slabby's!" Jasper mentioned, "they call it the Wheel Deal!"

I chuckle, shaking my head.

"That's it! Dad, I'm taking your car and I'm going to Jana's party!" I heard Piper scream.

"No, Piper, get back here right now!" Mr. Hart called and I couldn't really see anything, because Mrs. Hart tossed the phone down.

"Piper! You can't drive a car wearing a onesie!"

I shrugged and put down my phone, sharing a grin with Jasper and Charlotte.

"Hey!"

Suddenly, an odd man appeared on the phone and I gave him a look.

"Hi," Charlotte greeted

"Can we help you?" I asked the man.

"Is that really a wheel of ribs?" The man asked us and I glanced at the wheel of ribs behind me.

"Yep," Charlotte and I nod.

"Where are you?" The man asked and I made an uncomfortable face with Charlotte taking my shoulders and I looked at Jasper and her.

"Uh...we're at 123 Later St." I explained him and Charlotte nodded.

"Which street?"

"Later!" Charlotte and I said, before hanging up.

"That's not our address," Jasper remarked and Charlotte and I gave him a look, before I called Henry.

"Who you calling?" Jasper asked.

"Henry," I said and put the phone to my ear, waiting for him to answer.

Henry answered, "yeah, babe?"

"Hey, where are you?" I asked him.

"Um...I'm not sure, Airy, I think we're in a-I think we're trapped inside something-like uh-like uh-" Henry paused for a moment and I got worried until he continued. "... it appears we're in a rocket."

"Do you need help?" I asked him with worry.

"We're fine, princess," he assured me and I wasn't convinced and went to reply, but he hung up and I frowned.

Once again, my worry for Henry increases when he refuses to let me help him out. Sometimes the princess needs to save the superhero.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom," I tell Jasper and Charlotte, before getting up and walking to the bathroom. I walked in and shut the door as I held my stomach, groaning in pain.

There's the burning feeling again and it's only getting worse. I leaned against the sink and held my stomach, staring into the mirror. I slowly let go of my stomach and pushed my hair behind my shoulder, but I saw something different in my hair color and gasped at the sight.

"What the-"

I took the piece of discolored hair and stared at the color it was. It was a white, like snow.

I was speechless at the sight and couldn't find any words to say.

"My hair is turning white."

Bella's hair is turning white and her stomach is getting worse.
