I Marry Danger Part 2
I'd walk through fire for you
Just let me adore you
Oh honey, I'd walk through fire for you
Just let me adore you
——
Soft sobs were heard from Bella as she walked along the sidewalk. She was distraught. She was hurt. She felt betrayed.
She couldn't process the fact that someone invited Drex to her wedding. She doesn't even want to think of who did it, the thought of it pained her too much.
Bella find herself stumbling across an old store that she recognized immediately.
It was Junk'N'Stuff.
Bella's sobs calmed down as she approached the old junk store that she grew up at. Or in this case under. The store was still in tack, but it was out of business. It got shut down after a while.
Bella sniffled, wiping her eyes as she looked around and then down under the mat. She lifted the mat up and found an old silver key before she jiggled it in the doorknob. The door unlocked and Bella stepped right in, immediately taking the old scent she recognized and grew to love.
Everything was dusty and covered up with a tarp. The feeling of nostalgia hit Bella instantly and she felt herself smile softly, remembering all the good memories here. She remembered the first time she was brought through the front door and met Gooch.
Bella invited Gooch to the wedding. She hopes he can make it, she misses him.
Bella wasn't crying anymore about Drex. Instead, she was feeling nostalgic and sentimental for her old home. The place they made Arabella, Arabella.
A tear fell from Bella's brown eyes and it dripped off her cheek, landing on the dusty floor beneath her.
Bella let out a shaky breath. "No matter where I go. This will always be my home."

~With Chapa and Terra~
Chapa and Terra searched the town for the runaway bride, while on the phone with Mary, Charlotte, and Mika. Bella wasn't answering her phone, because she left it at the Man's Nest.
"Do you see her?" Chapa asked Terra, who sent her a glare and Chapa chuckled sheepishly. "Right. Sorry."
Terra rolled her eyes and touched the ground, trying to sense any familiar vibrations that felt like Bella.
"Correction. Do you feel anything?" Chapa asked as Terra felt the ground. "Because I don't see her."
"Well, look harder," Charlotte said aggressively on the phone.
"Where are you at?" Mary asked the two teens, taking the phone back from the robot girl.
"Uh," Chapa looked around and saw Swellview Park as Terra stood up, brushing her hands off. "We are near Swellview Park."
"I don't feel any trace of Bella," Terra told Chapa, who blew a raspberry in response and groaned.
"Keep looking, we don't have any other option," Mika remarked.
"Let's go check over there," Chapa suggested.
"Over where?! I can't see!" Terra snapped and Chapa groaned, taking the blonde girl's hand and pulling her out of the park. "You could just tell me the direction, ya know?"
The girls walked away as Mary sighed. "Call us when you find her."
"KK," Chapa said and hung up.
Mary sat down at the table of the Man's Nest, holding her face in her hands.
"They will find her," Mika assured the worried superhero, sitting next to her and rubbing her back. "Henry is searching for her, right?"
"If anyone can find her, it's him," Charlotte added and Mary lifted her head, tears visibly running down her cheeks.
"We messed up. Well, Ray did when he invited Drex." Mary shrugged. "But, I should have stopped him from doing so. He thought he was doing the right thing."
"He always thinks he does the right thing," Charlotte interjected and the other two girls nodded in agreement.
"I know." Mary sighed sadly and wiped her eyes, before standing up. "The best thing we can do now, is make sure this wedding runs smoothly and pretend like nothing bad is happening."
"Yes!" Mika beamed.
"It's..." Mary checked the time. "Almost 12 and the wedding is at 2. Okay, girls-"
"Did I hear something about a runaway bride?"
The three girls looked over and saw Piper walking in, wearing her bridesmaid dress and sunglasses, strutting in like she owned the place.
"Piper!" Charlotte smiled as the youngest Hart approached them.
"How do you know?" Mika asked.
"I know everything, babe." Piper sighed and removed her sunglasses. "Also, Charlotte texted me and I got her as soon as I could to help."
"We could use it. I'm freaking out." Mary chuckled anxiously, fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.
"Standing here and freaking out won't do us no good." Piper sternly told them. "The best thing we can do is go get ready for this wedding that will run smoothly. I will not let my brother and my future sister-in-law have a bad wedding, ya hear me?"
"She's right," Charlotte said.
"Go get changed, pack all your necessities, and let's head to the beach. Go!" Piper snapped and the three girls rushed off to change as Piper stood there with a proud smirk.
"This wedding will be 100% perfect."
——
~With Henry~
"Bella!" Henry called out as he searched the town, panicking. "Why did she have to leave her phone behind?!"
Henry groaned, rubbing his face, and sighed. Henry had his dress pants, shoes, and his undershirt on and his hair was mostly styled. Henry did not care how messed up he was looking, he had to make sure Bella was alright.
Henry blew a raspberry, looking around cluelessly before he gasped softly.
"That's it!"
Henry smiled to himself, before rushing off to where Bella felt safest.
Junk'N'Stuff
It did not take long for Henry to find the old antique shop. He remembered the location by heart and wouldn't ever forget it.
Henry eventually arrived at the antique store that was not abandoned and boarded up, but the door was unlocked and was left ajar.
Henry slowly opened the door and the old bell dinged as he entered. The feeling of nostalgia hit him in the face and he let out a sigh, smiling softly.
"Wow," he said and let out a small laugh, taking in the old scent and feeling he had not felt for years.
Henry walked down the steps and searched for Bella, but couldn't see her. "Airy?"
Soft sniffles were heard from behind the counter and Henry immediately walked around the counter, finding his crying fiance. Bella was crying to herself, holding her knees to her chest and Henry took no time in kneeling and hugging her close.
Bella didn't react and continued to cry as Henry held her. Henry would hold her for hours, not saying a word if it meant she felt safe. Even if he wasn't Kid danger anymore, he would forever keep the oath of protecting Arabella.
After a few moments, Bella rested her head on Henry's shoulder and felt her body calm down. Herny was her escape, her safe place, her lifeline.
"It's okay." Henry shushed her softly as Bella's breath hitched and she sniffled once more. "Everything will be alright, princess."
Bella let go of her knees and straightened her legs, let out a huge exhale, and wrapped her arms around Henry, hugging him tenderly.
"We aren't supposed to see each other," Bella mumbled faintly and Henry chuckled at her. "It's bad luck."
Henry smiled into her shoulder, laughing to himself as her adorable self. "I think it's even worse luck if there is no bride at the wedding."
"Let's just get married right here." Bella declared. "We have the groom and bride. What's stopping us?"
"Bella, we can't do that." Henry objected, pulling away and saw her tear-stained face and puffy cheeks. Bella gave him a sad smile as he wiped a tear away, gently holding her face with his hand. "How do you look so beautiful when you cry?"
Bella leaned into his hand, enjoying the feeling of his gentle touch that she always loved. Bella felt at peace with Henry, suddenly all her worries vanished.
"I love you." Bella sweetly sighed, holding his hand that was touching her face.
"I love you too," Henry replied with the utmost love, staring into her glistening brown eyes that he fell in love with at 13.
"As much as I love being with you, we do have a wedding at attend. And we are the main guests." Henry lowered his hand and Bella groaned playfully, dropping her head.
"I guess you are right." Bella looked at Henry and he was giving her a cheeky grin. "That means I have to see..."
Henry's grin fell and he nodded, fully sitting beside her and taking her hand. "I know."
"Who would invite him? Like, who is crazy enough to do that? There is no possible way he is good." Bella ranted with disbelief. "Right."
"No, I agree it's hard to believe." Henry agreed, rubbing Bella's thumb with his own. "But, I guess what happened was pretty dang good that your father invited Drex."
"My dad did this?" Bella scoffed and shook her head. "I trust my dad with some things. Not many things, but I trusted him with this guest list and he invited the man who ruined my life."
"I think the only way to have all your questions answered is to talk," Henry told her and Bella groaned, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Life would be so much easier if I did not have to talk to people."
"Everyone is worried about you. We should go back." Henry suggested and Bella picked her head up.
"As much as I hate it, you are right." Bella sighed as Henry started to get up and Bella put her hands out. "Help me. I've been sitting for too long. My butt is numb."
Henry chuckled and helped his fiance to her feet, putting his arm around her.
"Thank you." Bella grinned.
"You ready?" Henry asked and Bella took a second, before nodding.
"Yes."
She was indeed not ready to face her birth father.
Even if we'd met on a crowded street in 1944
And you were headed off to fight in the war
You still would've been mine
We would've been timeless

~Swellview Beach; 12:30 PM~
~Guests arrive in 45 minutes~
The people currently at the wedding are Mary, Mika, Piper, Charlotte, Eden, Kris Hart, Violet, and the twins. Mary was too panicked to take charge, so Piper had no issue taking that role.
"OKAY!" Piper yelled and all the girls looked at the youngest Hart girl, who stood on top of a table. "Eden you finish doing hair, I will do everyone's makeup. Mom and Charlotte, you finish setting up the chairs and wedding arch, Mika and Mary, you check all the food and beverages and finish setting the tables for the reception"
Piper looked through her list as Violet raised her little hand. "What about me?"
Violet was almost 6 years old and had inherited her mother's dark brown curly hair and her father's blue eyes. Piper looked down at the toddler and knelt on the table with a polite smile. "You can go make sure you have all the flowers you need in your basket."
"Okay!" Violet beamed happily and Mary bent down, picking up her daughter. Violet had on a puffy and sparkling red dress with a tiara on her head. She and Mika were matching as they were the flower girls.
"And break!" Piper clapped and hopped off the table as everyone rushed away to do their assigned jobs. Piper looked at the two twins who were sitting at the table, playing with blocks and giggling with each other.
"Or my job is babysitting." Piper sighed and sat down next to the twins.
Ruby and Ryder were 2 and a half years old and had both inherited their father's blonde hair, but had their mother's eyes. They were adorable babies.
Piper chuckled at the babies. "You guys are too cute to boss around. Oh, that won't last, however."
"WE ARE HERE!"
Piper turned to find, Ray, Jasper, Bose, Miles, Schwoz, and Jake Hart rushing in with bags and their suits on their bodies.
"We made it!" Jasper exhaled and dropped his bag on the ground.
Charlotte walked by with a chair in her hands. "Great. Now help us."
"She's moody." Ray snickered and Charlotte shot a glare at him.
"Boys! You can help by finishing getting changed. Us girls got this." Piper ordered the men, standing up from the table.
"I'll look after the twins," Schwoz happily offered, walking over to the Hart twins. Schwoz has grown very fond of the babies, he thinks they are swell.
"Where are my daughter and Henry?" Ray asked worried.
"Henry is still out looking for her." Mary walked over to them and kissed her husband.
"He better hurry, because the wedding is in less than two hours," Miles mentioned.
"Henry will find her. I promise that," Ray assured him, putting his arm around his wife. "He always knows where she is."
"Wait, where are Chapa and Terra?" Bose asked, just now noticing two of his best friends were missing.
"They went out looking for Bella too," Mary told him. "I'll go call them."
Mary walked away, taking her phone out to call the girls.
"Terra? Chapa? Have you found Bella?" Mary asked, putting the phone on speaker. Charlotte was passing by with a chair and stopped when she heard Chapa's voice.
"No, but we are heading back. We're sorry we couldn't find her." Chapa apologized.
"It's alright. Henry is out finding her, and he will for sure find her." Mary assured Chapa.
"We will be there shortly," Terra told them.
"Okay." Mary sighed as she ended the call and rubbed her forehead.
"Hey, don't stress. Bella will be okay. She always is." Charlotte assured Mary, rubbing her shoulder.
Mary let out a shaky exhale and smiled. "I hope so."
Charlotte walked off and Mary turned to find everyone else helping set up the wedding.
"Hi, mama." Eden approached her mother, hugging her shoulders gently.
"Hi, honey." Mary smiled up at her and her eldest daughter returned one.
"The wedding looks beautiful so far," Eden mentioned as both girls looked ahead at where the wedding arch and aisle would be.
It was beautiful. It was in the middle of summer and the wedding was on the same beach where Bella and Henry got engaged. There was a big section of wood flooring for the aisle and wedding arch to be on. The chairs for the guests were on either side and some palm trees were providing shade on some areas. There were four big vases of blue and red flowers lining the aisle, and the wedding arch was covered in the same kind of flowers. Baby pink curtains were on the wedding arch and on the back of it were poles with glass spheres scattered on them.
The section before the aisle started was a giant canopy that had a giant blue curtain where everyone would enter. To the left of this was where the wedding reception would be held.
Multiple tables were set up with fairy lights hanging above their heads that would be turned on later on. A tiny stage was set up for dancing and other performances and a DJ table.
Mary had done everything she could to make this wedding perfect, but it wouldn't be perfect if the bride and now groom weren't there.
"It will be beautiful when the bride and groom arrive," Mary replied.
"They will get here." Eden nodded, massaging her shoulders. Mary gently touched her belly, glancing down and letting out a shaky breath.
Being pregnant and stressed are not things that go well together.
"WE'RE HERE!"
Mary gasped loudly. Everyone cheered went they saw Henry running onto the beach with Bella holding his hand.
Everyone went up to the couple, sharing hugs and small laughs and relief at their arrival.
"Cookie!" Ray beamed as he hugged Bella, who awkwardly hugged back for a second. She pulled away from him with an unhappy look and Ray raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What?"
"How dare you invite Drex!" Bella exclaimed and Ray leaned back at her outburst.
Henry grabbed her shoulders, gently pulling her back.. "Let's not focus on that right now-"
"No, no, this all started because I found out he was coming." Bella protested and she pushed her dad back. "How could you?!"
"Okay, okay," Charlotte and Mary shushed Bella, who was red in the face. Her eyes were filled with betrayal and Ray gave her a sorrowful look. He felt regret at what he did, he wasn't thinking about how Bella didn't know how much Drex had changed.
"Bella, I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking right-"
"You never are!" Bella exclaimed with her voice cracking and Ray looked away, shutting his eyes. "I'm gonna go and finish getting ready. When he gets here, you tell him to leave. I am not walking down that aisle with him sitting there."
Bella stormed off and Charlotte and all the girls, minus Mary, followed her.
"I messed up," Ray rubbed his forehead. It fell silent when everyone knew he was right and Ray looked up after a moment.
"You did," Bose shrugged and Mary gave the telepathic a look, before addressing her husband.
"Honey, when Drex gets here, we need to make sure Bella talks to him."
"She won't do that. You know Bella, she doesn't even want to look at him." Henry objected.
"If anything, I need to talk to her." Ray declared.
"Jasper, Schwoz can you bring twins and Violet into the back," Mary told Jasper.
"Yes!" Both boys responded. Jasper picked up Violet as Schwoz held Ruby and Ryder.
"Is Bella okay?" Violet asked with worry. Her big blue eyes filled with concern for her older sister.
"She will be, sweetie," Mary assured her daughter before she watched Jasper carry Violet away.
"Dad, Bose, Miles, let's head to the back too," Henry told the two teens and his dad. The three walked to the back, leaving Ray and Mary.
"What do I do?" Ray asked his wife, running his hands through his hair.
"Talk to Bella." Mary grabbed his arms lightly. "That's all you can do. And if we can get her and Drex to talk..."
"I doubt that will happen. Drex wants to, but she would rather bury him six feet under." Ray remarked and Mary chuckled lightly.
"I know." Mary sighed and shrugged. "Understandably so, he did ruin her life."
"I know. I know. Even if he has changed, the things he did to her will never go away." Ray shook his head.
"She has every right to be upset. We can't forget that, but if we can form some sort of middle ground of understanding.." Mary began, adjusting Ray's suit collar and he nodded. "I think it will all be alright."
"Bella's feelings are most important right now. If at the end of the day, she can't have Drex here, he will leave." Ray explained and Mary gave him a soft smile.
"Exactly." She nodded and the couple shared a sweet kiss.
"I love you, Mary," Ray told her.
"I love you, Ray." She said back.
She's thunderstorms
Lying on her front, up against the wall
She's thunderstorms

~1:15 PM~
Guests had started to arrive at the wedding. The Game Shakers group had arrived first, followed by some of Mary's family and Ray's family. As time went on, more and more guests arrived and Bella was anxiously waiting for Drex. Terra, Chapa, Bose, Miles, and Mika were out greeting the guests.
Once she sees him, she won't hesitate to kick him out. Nothing will convince her not to.
"If you keep frowning like that, you'll form crow's feet early," Piper told her, finishing Bella's bouquet she was gonna hold. It was a beautiful set of blue and red roses, while the bridesmaids had smaller versions.
"Relax your face, honey, it's hard to do your makeup like this," Charlotte told her best friend, flicking her forehead and Bella flinched, looking up.
"Flicking won't help," Bella told her and Charlotte leaned back for a moment. She suddenly started tickling her armpit and Bella let out a huge laugh, leaning away and shielding herself. "Okay! Okay! I get it!"
Piper laughed and Charlotte grinned at Bella's huge smile and cute laugh.
"Better?" Charlotte asked and Bella chuckled, shrugging with red cheeks.
"Whatever..."
Bella had a smile on her face as Charlotte continued her makeup.
"There's that smile." Piper nudged Bella softly, who giggled.
"Well, if Drex doesn't show his ugly head, it will stay," Bella mentioned.
"We will see." Charlotte sighed, shrugging. "And if he does-"
"I will do whatever it takes to make him leave." Bella declared, her voice firm filled with pain.
Piper and Charlotte exchanged looks of worry, the air filled with tension when Bella spoke. The anger wasn't just about his presence, it was the audacity of it. Bella had spent years planning her wedding, constructing something that was reflecting her and Henry's life, a life Drex had zero part of. The resentment boiled in her veins, leaving a bitter taste on her tongue.
She imagined countless scenarios of his arrival, none of them ending on a happy note. His entire existence cast a pall over her happiness, ruining her perfect day.
Bringing Bella out of her thoughts was a soft knock on the door of their small room, and she turned to find Mary walking in with Eden.
"How's it going, ladies?" Mary asked and Bella cracked a faint smile.
"All good." She nodded, before turning her head away and letting out a small exhale.
If looks could kill, Bella's own brown eyes would make Drex explode within seconds. That man always seemed to find a way to Bella, being a constant thorn in her side.
"The guests have started to arrive, and Bella, honey..."
Bella blinked slowly as her gaze shifted to her mother, her eyes darkened.
"Drex will be told to leave."
"No, no. I meant your actual father." Mary interrupted her. "He wants to talk."
Bella looked down, happy she wasn't dressed yet because they were planning on doing a first look with him.
Bella sighed with a silent nod and Mary smiled softly, leaning out the door. "Perfect. Ray!"
"We will leave you both alone." Eden offered, gesturing the girls to leave.
"I'm just about done with her hair-"
"Go!" Mary snapped to Piper, who groaned and Mary beckoned them to leave.
Bella sighed as the girls left and her father walked in. He was dressed in a blue suit with a red flower in his suit pocket and she couldn't help but smile at the sight of him.
"Hi, dad." Bella greeted, looking in the mirror.
"Hi, Bella." He said and awkwardly sat on the chair next to her. Bella's anxiety increased quickly, knowing that Drex could be right outside right now and she despised that. "Bella-"
"No, can I talk, please?" Bella begged, her eyes meeting Ray's. Ray nodded, his gaze unwavering. "Okay..." Bella began, her voice surprisingly steady for how anxious she was. "Why would you invite the man who abandoned me when I was 6?"
Ray cleared his throat, the sound fragile. He wasn't expecting that to be her immediate question, and it hit him like a cannonball. Ray may be indestructible, but Bella's anger made him feel such pain that he could never feel with anyone else.
"It was an impulse decision. Drex had just finished helping us save Swellview, I wasn't thinking right. I'm sorry, I should have asked you and informed you of what happened." Ray admitted, being careful in his word choice. Any wrong word would make Bella crack more than she already has, and he does not want his own daughter's heart to shatter when it just healed. "If you can't handle him here, we will make him leave. This is your day, it's Henry's day, and you two are the most important here. I am truly sorry for not talking to you."
Ray's gaze softened as he saw Bella's eyes glistening with tears. Bella released a shaky breath and Ray hesitantly reached over and grabbed her hand. Bella didn't react at first, unsure what to say in response.
Bella soon enough spoke, taking over the tension that filled the air. "Thank you for apologizing. You are my father, and I will always love you. However, I will never understand how a man like him, a villain who tried to kill you and Henry, could ever turn good?"
"I know, I know." Ray quickly reacted, squeezing her hand. This time Bella returned it, squeezing it back, her hand slightly shaking with anxiety. "I was shocked too. We all were. What he did will never be forgiven, and I let him know that. I also told him if he ever does anything to hurt you or our family, I will not hesitate to end him."
Ray wasn't lying. If Drex ruins his daughter's day, he will end him on the spot.
Bella cracked a faint smile, and Ray did as well. A tear escaped Bella's brown eyes, and a silent understanding passed between them.
"Trust me, I'll do that myself," Bella remarked, chuckling and Ray softly laughed.
"I know you would. You the strongest girl I know," Ray leaned over and kissed her forehead. "Will you be alright?"
Bella gently wiped her tears away, making sure not to ruin her makeup. A shaky breath escaped her mouth, and she nodded. Deciding to be a mature person for once in her life.
"If Drex shows up, I will talk to him. I'm tired of running." Bella declared with determination, a feeling of responsibility dawning in her veins.
Ray felt proud of his daughter. This was a huge step for Bella to overcome, and he was beyond proud of her. Her strength and maturity was showing. She wasn't the same 13-year-old girl that he used to shelter and hide; she was a confident and mature woman that he was beyond proud of.
"Good." Ray proudly nodded, and a genuine smile illuminated his face. An unspoken weight was lifted off his shoulders, replaced with a sense of peace.
Bella embraced her father in a tight hug. Ray's arms wrapped around her, holding her like that naive and happy 13-year-old girl she used to be. No matter how old she gets, Bella will forever be his little girl.
"I love you, Dad." Bella exhaled.
"I love you, Cookie." Ray smiled.
Their heartfelt moment was interrupted when the door opened and Mary slowly walked in. The father and daughter duo let go and looked up at her.
"Drex is here."
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it's still hard to give her away
I loved her first
