Arabella's POV

I ran out of my room a little passed midnight and looked at the monitor with shock and horror.

"Oh my gosh!" I yelled in panic, "dad!"

The doomsday alarm was blaring, which usually means that a terrible emergency was taking place.

"Dad!" I yelled, but I got no response and right then Henry got shot down the tube in his pajamas.

"Arabella! Ray!" He called and he saw me, running over to me. "Airy! Are you okay?"

"Yeah I am." I nodded and he embraced me, tightly. "Are you?"

"Yeah." He sighed against my shoulder. "Where's your dad?"

"I don't know!" I exclaimed as he pulled away from each other, but he kept his arm around me and i leaned into his side with worry.

"Henry! Bella!" We turned and Charlotte and Jasper ran in.

"Charlotte!" Henry said. "Have you seen Ray?"

"No, where is he? Bella?" Charlotte asked me and I shook my head.

"I don't know!"

"Well, he's got to be around here somewhere!" Jasper exclaimed, before we started to frantically search the Man Cave for my father.

Suddenly, we saw my dad walk out with a cart and tray and he shut off the doomsday alarm.

He smiled at us and Henry and I walked over to him

"Who wants a snack?!"

"What?" I asked, feeling Henry grab my hand.

"Who wants a snack?!" He repeated.

"Dude!" Henry snapped and I put my hand on his chest.

"Let the daughter handle this." I say, before going over to him. "Hey!"

"Hey, Cookie!" He greeted.

"It's ten after midnight!" I tell him, showing him my phone.

"Yeah!" He smiled.

"Why'd you send us all the Doomsday Signal?" Charlotte asked him and I hugged Henry's torso, resting my tired head on him.

"I wanted to make sure I woke my daughter up and all you guys came over." My dad remarked.

"Dude!" Henry said.

"What?"

"Dude."

"Yeah!"

"Dude."

"Hey." My dad snapped his fingers.

"You told us the doomsday signal was only for a major crisis." Henry mentioned.

"Yeah, life or death situation." Charlotte added.

"Well, you are gonna die." My dad said and we got worried.

"What?!" I asked and Henry tightened his grip on me.

"We are?!"

"When you try my new recipe for-" He paused and lifted up the lid to reveal mini corndogs. "Captain Corndogs!"

"Wow." Henry and I muttered together.

"Captain Corndogs?" Henry asked him.

"Yeah!"

"So, you called us here just to try your new Captain Corndogs?" Jasper asked him.

"Uh, yeah." My dad nodded and Jasper threw his arms up, sitting down

"This is not a life or death situation." Charlotte exclaimed, sitting down as well.

"Yeah, it is." Henry told her, letting me go and I leaned on the monitor. "Seriously, it is. Because, I'm gonna kill him!"

He ran over to my dad and tried to take tackle him, but all he did was struggle and my dad laughed, before he got Henry in a head lock and I giggled.

"Okay, please let me go." Henry pleaded.

"Sure, right after you try one of my steamy hot Captain Corndogs, dude!" My dad smiled, bending down and grabbing one, despite Henry's protest.

Eventually, Henry agreed and tried the corndog and we all leaned in to see his reaction.

"Okay, give me another one." Henry smiled and took another one.

"Ehh?" My dad smirked.

"Oh my god!" Henry gasped. "Airy, Jasper, Charlotte, you guys gotta try these."

I groaned, "if I try one, can I go back to sleep?"

"Yeah, can I go home too?" Charlotte asked.

"Sure." He agreed and I walked over, grabbing one and Charlotte did too.

"Whatever."

"Fine, I'll take one."

We both took a bite and I smiled.

"Woah!" I chuckled.

"Wow!"

"Uh-huh." Henry smiled and I finished my corndog. This is one of the best things I've ever had.

"Well, I've got to try me one of these Captain-"

Before Jasper could finish, the emergency call alarm blared.

"Emergency call." Henry said, "now?"

"Geez, pretty rude." My dad mentioned, getting out his gum balls. "To call us after midnight."

"Yeah, who would be rude enough to call someone after midnight?" Charlotte sarcastically remarked.

"Okay, Smartpants, no more Captain Corndogs for you." My dad retorted.

"Fine, I don't care if I-Okay, I do care! Can I please have more Corndogs!" Charlotte pleaded as my dad took them away.

"Eh." My dad smiled, before he gave them to her and stood next to Henry. They blew their bubbles and they popped, transforming them into Captain Man and Kid Danger.

Never gets old.

My dad waved Jasper, Charlotte, and I away.

"Bella, Charlotte, and Jasper." We hid in the couch and ate the Corndogs without my dad knowing about it.

I didn't really listen to the conversation between the superheroes and whoever was in danger, because Jasper kept eating the corndogs and it was getting a little hectic. All I heard from the conversation was something about them protecting the Neal Diamond at the Swellview Museum of Stools and Jewels, because lots of criminals are trying to steal it. Like, I even heard some criminals trying to steal the diamond mid video call.

At the end of the call, Jasper had finished all the Corndogs and he had a huge tummy ache and Charlotte and I couldn't stop him.

After the call ended, the superheroes came up to us.

"Alright, let's snack on some Captain Corn-" Henry paused when they saw Jasper and an empty plate.

"There was..." I trailed off and let Charlotte finish.

"Nothing we can do."

-That Same Day, but not freaking midnight-

Later that day, my dad and Henry went to the museum to guard the diamond and to pass out the Corndogs to anyone who wanted one.

We were able to see and hear everything they had, because of a small video camera Schwoz put inside my dad and Henry's mask.

"So, we're seeing a live video feed of what Henry and Ray are seeing right now?" Charlotte asked.

"Yeah, see, I installed a teeny little camera right into their masks, right here between their eyeballs." Schwoz explained, tapping his forehead.

"Cool." Charlotte smiles.

"Now, I can zoom in on this lady Ray is talking to." Schwoz began, zooming in a lady's face.

"And this controls the facial recognition?" I asked him, pointing to the control and he nodded.

"Try it!"

"Okay." I said and twisted the knob to activate the recognition and it began to scan the woman's face.

"Lauren Filmore." Charlotte read the name off the scan. "No criminal history. Woah, that's really cool technology."

"Yeah, I know this." He remarked and I grinned.

Time passed on and we continued to scan people's faces as Henry and my dad talked to people, but nothing came up until Henry went up to this one girl and we scanned her face as she ate a corndog.

"Heather Bogart." I read and my eyes grew. "Extreme Criminal History!"

"Aye!" Schwoz yelled running over. "Look! She's been arrested so many times!"

"Yeah! And all of them are for stealing precious jewels!" Charlotte added on and we checked the jewels she's stolen.

"She stole The Sapphire of Madagascar." I read.

"The Billy Crystal." Schwoz read

"The Emma Stone!" Charlotte read

"The Dustin Diamond." I read

"The Lagosso Emerald." Charlotte read.

"And the Jack Ruby!" Schwoz gasped.

"No way! She stole all those jewels!?" Jasper asked and I nodded.

"Yeah! And it says she just got released six weeks ago from The Galcayraz Prison." Charlotte informed us.

"Ah!" Schwoz panicked and spun Charlotte out of the chair, so he could sit down. "I'm contacting Ray right now! RAY RAY!"

My dad yelled, dropping the Corndogs. "Schwoz! You numb! What is it?"

I pushed him out of the chair and sat down. "Dad! So you see that blonde lady in the yellow jacket?"

"Yeah? What about her?" He asked.

"She's a jewel thief!" Charlotte intervened.

"What?" My dad asked with surprise.

"Her name's Heather Bogart." I explained, "she's been in jail like six times for stealing super expensive rare jewels!"

"Got it! I'll handle Heather." My dad snarled, before he approached her. Suddenly, he fired his laser at her corndog and it burnt it so nothing was left.

My dad ran up to them and Henry backed away with confusion.

"What? What? Captain Man, what are you doing?" Henry asked him as Heather followed them with a glare.

"Stopping a jewel thief before she strikes again." My dad told Henry, shielding him.

"What?" Henry asked with disbelief.

"Yep, I'm a jewel thief." She simply stated and put her hand out for Henry. "Heather Bogart, master jewel thief, how ya doing?"

"I'm taking you to jail." My dad walked over and grabbed her arm, but she slapped him.

"Uh, no you're not." She denied.

"What's that supposed to mean?" My dad asked her.

"I got out of jail six weeks ago, and now I'm a free citizen." Heather informed and pulled out her ticket to the museum. "And look! Here's my ticket for this museum, which means I have as much right to walk around here as anyone."

She's sassy and smart, it's sucks she's a thief, we could've been best friends.

Henry leaned over and checked the ticket. "Valid ticket, dude."

My dad was speechless until he snatched the Corndogs from Henry. "Well, you can't have anymore of my Captain Corndogs, I can tell you that."

"Well, I don't care if I can't..." She trailed off and began to pass out, and my dad and Henry fell for it right before she snatched a Corndog and swiftly moved away and I smirked.

"Oh!" Henry and my dad gasped at her sneaky moves and she grinned.

"You see that, kid? You see what kind of a jerk she is!" My dad accused. "Whatever, Heather, you want to walk around this museum? Fine! You want to look at some stools and/or jewels? Go for it. But don't even think about trying to steal the Neal Diamond."

"I won't." She said.

"Good!"

"Goooood!"

"I'm just gonna do it."

She may by a thief, but I like this girl.

"Fine!"

"Whatever!"

"Wait..."

"What?"

"I'm gonna steal the Neal Diamond before the museum closes tonight." She proclaimed, "and there is not one thing either of you can do to stop me."

My dad and Henry were rendered speechless by her and she sharply turned away, lifting up her corndog.

Now, my dad and Henry were closely watching the diamond because of Heather. And as I watched her, she started to slowly grow as a maniac and her laugh creeped me out. She's sneaky and smart, but very maniacal and a little bit of a psycho.

Heather was talking to a man and Henry was listening in on their conversation and they mentioned avocado toast.

"Why would a person toast an avocado?" Schwoz asked and I rolled my eyes.

"No." The three of us sighed.

"You toast bread, then you spread avocado on the bread." I explained to him.

"Ehhh." Schwoz cringed, "you Americans are animals."

This is coming from the man who eats carrots like a horse.

My dad and Henry continued to watch the diamond and not much happened, until Piper and her friends walked in because apparently Heather posted about her stealing the diamond on the internet.

Heather is a very open person, I'll say that.

"Hey, hey, look at that." Charlotte pointed.

"At what? At the screen?" Jasper asked and I rolled my eyes.

"No, Schwoz's foot. Yes, the screen." I sarcastically reply and he rolled his eyes.

"You know, that sarcasm was unnecessary." Jasper remarked.

"That sarcasm as unnecessary." I mimicked.

"Na na na na." He muttered and I glared at him, flicking his cheek.

"Guys!" Charlotte exclaimed and we stopped.

"What'd you see?" Schwoz asked and Charlotte zoomed in on Heather, who was whispering to two photographers.

"Heather." Charlotte said, "whispering to those photographers."

Moments later, Heather moved away and the two photographers approached Henry and my dad, but they had sunglasses on.

"Hey, guys, can we get a couple of youfies?" One of the photographers asked them.

"Youfies?"

"You mean pictures of us?" Henry asked them.

"Yeah."

They gladly agreed and posed for the picture, including the Captain Corndogs.

"1,2!"

Suddenly, a blinding and flashing light beamed everyone and all us here looked away, shielding our eyes.

"Woah!"

"That was bright!"

I blinked a few times and turned back to screen to see that everyone at the museum was blinded by the light, including my dad and Henry.

"My eyes! I can't see!" Henry exclaimed and I rubbed my eyes.

"Neither can I!" My dad exclaimed.

"Hey! I think that was Hyper Gamma Light!" Schwoz
informed us.

"What's Hyper Gamma Light?" I asked him.

"It's a new technology. It's as bright as the three suns of Jupiter! It's makes it so that you cannot temporarily see!" Schwoz explained.

"Woah!" Charlotte and I say.

"And it even works on Captain Man?" Jasper asked.

"Yeah, yeah! Look it! You're watching the same show I am!" Schwoz gestured to the screen of my dad and Henry moving around, blindly.

"What happened?" Henry asked.

"Oh, see! Those photographers just blasted you and everyone in this room with Hyper Gamma Light!" Heather explained, "which means you won't be seeing anything for the next two hours!"

"See nailed it." Schwoz smirked.

"Shh!"

"Oh, yeah, Heather? Kid Danger and I might not be able to see, but we can still punch!" My dad yelled and threw a blind punch, but accidentally hit Henry and he tumbled to the floor.

"Hey, kid! I think I hit Heather!" My dad yelled, "or maybe one of her photographers?"

Or maybe your sidekick.

Henry recovered and grabbed my dad, who was smiling. "Kid?! Hey, hey!"

"You hit me!"

"Oh!" My dad said, before yelling. "Attention! From Captain Man! I cannot see!"

"We cannot see!" Henry repeated.

"So, if you are not a criminal, please stand back, while Kid Danger and I locate the perpetrators-"

Right then, the two photographers grabbed Henry and my dad and attacked them and threw them to the ground. I flinched at this and grabbed my shirt worry.

"Oh my god! What's happening?!" I heard Piper yell.

"Captain Man and Kid Danger can't see!" A person responds.

"And Heather's trying to steal the Neal Diamond!" Henry added on, slowly getting up.

"Oh my god! Captain Man to your left!" Piper instructed and my dad instinctively punched to his left and managed to soak one of the attacking photographers.

"Nice Piper!" I praised and and watched my dad throw the man to the ground.

Henry tried to hit the other photographer, but he missed and the man kicked him into some of jewels knocking the stand over. The same thing happened to my dad.

"Kid Danger! He's right in front of you, get him!" Piper yelled and Henry grabbed a mannequin in front of him, thinking it was the photographer.

"I caught him I-"

The photographer punched Henry and he fell to the ground with the mannequin.

"Turn on the mics so Ray and Henry can hear us!" Schwoz told us and I quickly turned on the mics.

"Henry! Behind you!" I yelled and Henry swung a stool at the man behind him.

My dad punched a photographer and laughed. "Haha. Huh?"

He lost the man and Piper yelled.

"He's right there!"

Jasper and Schwoz began to yell at once and I groaned.

"Stop!"

"We can't all talk at once!" Charlotte snapped and the boys stopped.

"Kid! Where's Heather?" My dad asked, thinking Henry could see anything.

"How would I have that information?!" Henry asked and swung a stool.

"Captain Man! Kid Danger! I'm right by Heather! Follow my voice!" Piper screamed and they turned, so we were able to see Piper distracting Heather.

This caused Henry to whack my dad with a stool.

"Ow!" My dad cried.

"Sorry!" Henry apologized, before turning to the photographer and swung a few punches that missed.

"You're about to get hit!" Schwoz warned, before Henry got soaked in the face and fell down. "You got hit."

My dad got kicked in the face and slammed into the wall, falling down. The museum owner then ran in with shock and surprise.

"What the? My stools and jewels! What's going onnnnnnnn! He yelled, but ran away when my dad got thrown into the wall and fell to the floor. The photographer picked up a stool and hit my dad, but behind him, Piper attacked the man and he fell down. Then, she hit the other photographer with the remaining parts and during that we noticed that Heather had opened the case to the diamond.

"Heather's about to get the diamond!" I warned and we see her take out the diamond.

"Ahh! She's got the diamond!" Piper screamed.

"Told ya I'd steal it." She said and Piper went up to her, trying to stop her as my dad and Henry were recovering from the fight.

"Hey! Hey! I found one of the photographers cameras!" Henry called, holding a camera in his hands.

"Henry, quick! Turn right and push the button!" Charlotte ordered.

"Okay!" Henry turned and pointed it as Heather and unfortunately Piper too.

"Push the button, kid." My dad yelled.

Henry looked away as he did that and a bright light flashed, causing Piper and Heather to scream out.

Sorry, Piper.

"Kid, I think ya did it!" My dad said and we saw Piper and Heather both struggling to see and navigate their way around the place.

"What do we do now?" Henry asked as they carefully stood up.

"We've got to get the diamond from her!" My dad said.

"Yeah! Good luck finding me!" She exclaimed as she stumbled and the boys began to search for her.

"Alright, Heather! Where are ya?!" My dad asked and they found a body, but it was Piper. "Ah-ha! Got her!"

"No, it's me!" Piper protested and they shoved her away.

"Ah!"

I couldn't lie, it was a little amusing to watch my dad and Henry search for someone who was right in front of them.

"Yo! Yo! Marco!"

"Polo!" My dad shouted back to Henry.

"What? No, not you, you-ah whatever!" Henry sighed, and eventually they heard Heather trip on something and my dad grabbed her arm and Henry joined. She fought over the diamond and refused to let it go, until Henry ripped it out of her hands along with knocking down two glass vases as well.

Heather began to cry out in agony.

"Did ya get it?" My dad asked with hope.

"I got it!" Henry said and I smiled.

The owner ran in with two officers and pointed to Heather.

"There! That's Heather Bogart! Arrest her!"

The two officers ran over and dragged her away.

"Take her away boys!"

"This isn't over!" She yelled, "I'll be back and I'll get that diamond!"

"Yeah! Have fun in jail!" Henry called at her.

"Do you two realize what you've down?!" The owner asked them, referring to the large mess of jewels and stools.

"Yes, we've saved the Neal Diamond." My dad nodded.

"Here ya go, man." Henry put the diamond out for the owner, but he dropped it and the owner looked down in agony at the now shattered diamond.

"Come on, Kid Danger, let's go." My dad declares and accidentally bumped into Henry.

"Woah!"

"Okay, okay, this way." My dad gestured and Henry reached for him.

"What way? I'm in the dark!" Henry called and my dad grabbed Henry, leading him toward the exit.

"This way. This way. I'm your buddy." My dad said as they walked, but accidentally knocked down another jewel stand.

"My buddy?"

"Ahhh!" The owner cringed and they continued their way out, bumping into various jewels and stools.

I'd say that was a successful mission

After Henry and my dad returned from the museum of stools and jewels and regained their eyesight, Henry pulled me away from everyone.

"Hey, now that I can see, I have something for you." Henry smiles as we sat down on the couch and he pulled something out of his pocket. "I bought it at the gift shop and immediately thought of you."

"What is it?" I asked with a smile and he pulled out a small velvet box. He opened it to reveal a beautiful sapphire heart shaped necklace and my mouth fell a gap. "Oh my...Henry..."

He grinned and took out the necklace, gently holding it in his hands.

"It's an exact replica of the Heart of the Ocean that Rose wears from the movie, Titanic." Henry explained and I found myself blushing.

"It's beautiful." I smile, giggling. "But why?"

"I shouldn't need a reason to buy my girlfriend gifts." Henry remarked, before he moved behind me and I moved my hair over my shoulder, so he can put the necklace on me. "But, even the most gorgeous jewel could never compare to you, Arabella."

I smiled with pure happiness as Henry gently kissed my shoulder. How did I get so lucky? I mean, I don't deserve this, not at all. After everything I've been through, Henry still treats me like I'm a princess.

"Henry..." I sighed, feeling tears of joy form and faced him. "I don't deserve this, but thank you."

Henry noticed my tears and wiped them. "You deserve the whole world and everything you have. I love you, Airy."

I chuckled softly, before he cupped my face with his gloved hands and brought me in for a sweet kiss.

I'm the luckiest girl in the whole universe. What did I do to deserve this kind of love and affection from someone as amazing and sweet as Henry Hart?
