Kovu laid down next to Kiara and hugged her. She hugged back and went to sleep.

Virus walked inside and found a spot to sleep. Stella looked at Bliss and Sonic and saw that they were sleeping. She got up and walked towards Virus.

He was resting his head on his arms as he saw her walking towards her. She laid down by him and smiled.

"Mind if I lay here?"

"Sure."

She smiled again and went to sleep. He laid his head down near her and went to sleep.

The next morning, Virus walked outside and stretched out his body. He looked ahead and saw Kovu looking outside. He walked towards him and said,

"What are you doing?"

"I don't think I can do this."

"What are you talking about?"

"You probably don't know this yet but...I think Kiara changed me."

"What!?"

"I know. I know."

"Who knows what you're mother will do if she finds out."

"I gotta tell Kiara the truth."

"Kovu. Don't."

He walked past Virus and went to Kiara.

"Kiara. I gotta talk to you."

"Kiara." Kovu gasped as he saw Simba.

"I don't want you to talk to him...I want to talk to him."

Kiara smiled as Simba winked at her and went for a walk with Kovu. Kiara watched as the left.

"Hey Kiara!" Kiara turned around and saw Nala, Bliss and Stella.

"We're going hunting. Wanna come?" Stella asked.

"Sure." The girls walked outside but Virus called out for Stella.

"Stella."

Stella turned her head and walked towards him.

"What is it?"

"I...um...nevermind."

"I'll be back soon." She gave him a small hug and walked with Kiara and Nala.

Virus sighed and turned his head to see Sonic sleeping still. He also noticed that no one else was here. He walked towards Sonic and stood above him.

He was sleeping gently as Virus held out his paw, getting ready to hit him but he was shaking and feeling nervous. He didn't know what to do.

"Gah!" He pulled away, panting a little, stopping himself from hurting him. He looked at him again but then turned his head as he looked outside.

He left the cave and stood still to look ahead. He jumped off Pride Rock and ran off. He ended up walking in the dark area where there was barely any plant life and looks around.

Suddenly, Scourge jumped in front of him and roared, making Virus scream. Scourge laughed at this as Virus glared at him.

"Dad!"

"Hey! I'm just kidding son." He said with a laugh as he placed his paw over his shoulder. He glared at him and moved from him.

"What do you want dad?"

"Just wanted to check on my son to see how he's going with the mission! So, did you get rid of Sonic?"

"Well... about that dad...I...wait? Get rid of him? I thought we were just torturing him."

"Son, we live in a world that not only do we torture, we also kill."

"You never told me to do that."

"My mistake I guess."

"Well we were stuck here for a long time dad."

"Good point. Hey! I want to show you something. You don't want to miss the show!"

"Show?"

Scourge ran off as Virus followed him. When they arrived, they saw Simba and Kovu fighting the lionesses. Virus was shocked as Scourge smirked.

"We're gonna watch this pathetic King go down like rain." Scourge said with a laugh.

Virus looked at them as they started running to chase Simba. Scourge and Virus began to chase them and saw Simba climbing up the rocks to get away.

Kovu was on top of the cliff, trying to help Simba.

"Simba!"

"Get him Kovu! Get him! Right now!" Kovu didn't know what to do so he ran off.

"I'll do it for you Mother!" Nuka said as he climbed after Simba.

Virus watched him as he was also looking for Kovu and Simba.

"Watch my son, as the King meets his end." Scourge said.

Nuka grabbed onto Simba's leg but Simba was able to escape and kick the stones towards him. Nuka screamed as the avalanche started falling.

Everyone quickly got out of the way as the rocks fell to the bottom. Simba escaped and rocks stopped falling. Kovu came back and tried to rescue Nuka but Zira pushed him out of the way to get to him.

"Nuka..."

"I'm sorry Mother...I tried..."

"Shhhh...."

Nuka soon completed his Circle of Life.

"Nuka..."

Everyone stayed quiet as they stared at the ground. Virus was about to sneak away until Scourge stopped him.

"Where do you think you're going!?"

"I...uh...was going to find Simba and take care of him myself. I want to prove to you how much I have improved dad."

"That's my boy! Go get him and Sonic and destroy them! We'll be right behind you!"

Virus nodded and ran off. Virus continued running until he made it back to the Pride Lands and he saw Stella and Kiara along with Timon, Pumbaa and Zazu.

"It's a shame your mother had to go home."

"Yeah but it's alright. She had stuff to do anyway."

"Kiara! Stella!" They turned her head and saw Virus.

"Virus?"

"It's Simba. He needs help."

They heard groaning as they turned their heads and saw Simba was injured.

"Father! Zazu! Get help!"

"Yes! Of course! Right away!" They ran towards Simba as Zazu flew off and Kiara gave him a small hug.

"Simba! Talk to me! What happened!?"

"Kovu...betrayed..." Simba fainted as he couldn't finish talking.

Stella was shocked.

"No..."

Pumbaa helped carry Simba as best as he could.

"Don't worry buddy, we'll take care of you." They started heading back towards Pride Rock.

"What happened to Simba, Virus?" Stella asked.

"I... I'll tell you when we get back." Stella nodded as they continued walking.

Meanwhile with Zira, Kovu and the others, Zira and Kovu were arguing until Kovu ran off, not wanting to deal with them anymore.

"He's not the only one who's being suspicious." Scourge said.

"Let him go. Simba has messed with us for the last time. Now he has corrupted Kovu! Listen to me. Simba is injured and weak. Now's the time to attack! We'll take his entire Kingdom, by force!" Zira laughed as the lionesses roared in agreement.

Scourge smirked at this as he ran to go tell his son, Virus.
