“There it is, Tsuna.” Takeshi said leaning on his knee.

“Where, they are keeping the newest batch of kids they kidnapped.” Tsuna snarled.

“Kufufufu, so what’s the plan Tsunayoshi?” Mukuro asked.

“What else is there to plan Pineapple head?” Hayato snapped.

“Hn, so omnivore your plan?” Kyoya asked. Tsuna smirked and turned to his guardians.

“They’ve ticked me off by killing a friend, that won’t stand in in my book. Hayato, Takeshi and Lambo take the back. Kyoya, Mukuro, and Chrome take the right and if need the left. Reborn, Ryohei and I will take the front.” Tsuna ordered. They nodded and went to their designated places and waited for their signal. Tsuna, Ryohei and Reborn calmly walked out of their hiding place straight towards the front door, two of said people were madder then h*. The guards that were stationed at the door froze and started sweating bullets before they decided to open fire on the three men or in their minds one man and two demons. That sound was the others signal to attack and attack they did.Tsuna’s group was the first inside the mansion and heading down the stairs to where they kept the children.

Kumo looked up hearing banging and shouting. He backed into a corner his eyes flickering with fear as he looked around the room. Tsuna was the first to emerge from around the corner a bright orange flame on his forehead and sharp orange eyes glanced around the room seeing all the cages full of children he tisked and turned to look over his shoulder.

“Reborn, Ryohei keep them off my back while I free the kids!” Tsuna yelled back to them. Two yells of ‘Si’ was heard then Tsuna turned back to face the room. From there he started on one end of the room working his way to the other as quickly as he could.

Kumo watched from the back of his cage, unsure what to think. He kept his mouth firmly shut as he watched the person with a flaming forehead freeing the other kids, making his way towards Kumo. Tsuna finally got to the last cage as all the other children stayed behind him clinging to his jacket. Tsuna kneeled down so he could break the lock that was on the cage, when he did he opened the cage door.

Kumo’s eyes held a mixture of panic and fear. He didn't know what to do. He wiped tears off his face as he tried to keep from crying more. Tsuna held out a hand to the crying boy inside the cage.

“I’m not here to hurt you Kumo.” Tsuna said reassuring the boy

Kumo sat there a moment before slowly coming forward and putting a shaking hand in Tsuna’s. Once Kumo’s hand was in Tsuna’s he pulled the boy gently towards him.

“Kumo you’re safe now, you’re safe.” Tsuna said as he hugged the boy. Kumo doesn’t say anything but clings to Tsuna shaking and crying.

“It’s going to be alright, Kumo.” Tsuna said before being engulfed in hugs from the other children. Tsuna stood up with some trouble since one he was holding Kumo, and two all the other children were hanging on him. Kumo looks over Tsuna’s shoulder as though to make sure nobody was coming before hiding his face against Tsuna’s shoulder. Tsuna walked towards the door he had come through, once through it he saw Reborn and Ryohei was lazing around with the other guardians.

“A little help please.” Tsuna said. Hayato, Takeshi, and Ryohei hurried over and took some of the children from him, after Tsuna told the children they were going to be safe with his friends.

Kumo glared at anyone that came to close with the one eye that was visible as he clung to Tsuna hiding his face. His face was still wet from crying and fear was still shining in his eyes but he was clearly trying to act tough.

Some of the guardians chuckled at Kumo, happy he was safe.

"Kumo they aren't going to hurt you either so calm down and stop glaring." Tsuna said softly.

"I wanna go home.." kumo whimpered, though it was muffled by the ring in his mouth.

"I know you do Kumo but your father isn't around anymore." Tsuna said hearing the boy. "Also Kumo could you give me that ring that's in your mouth so you don't choke, don't worry it will be safe just like your father wanted."

Kumo lead back so he could see Tsuna's face before carefully taking the ring out of his mouth and holding it up for Tsuna to see.

Tsuna took the ring carefully out of Kumo's hand and put it safely in his pocket till they got to the mansion.

"Kumo do you have any family?" Tsuna asked.

Kumo shook his head no. "just me and dad"

"I see, how would you like to live with my family and I?" Tsuna asked looking at Kumo from the corner of his now caramel brown eyes. At some point Tsuna had left HDWM, so the orange flame on his forehead was gone.

Kumo teared up a little "i wanna go home..."

"Kumo there is nothing left of your home." Tsuna sighed looking sadly at the boy.

Kumo shook his head "i wanna go home" he said a little more forcefully.

"Kumo what are you going to find there?" Tsuna asked

"Cosmic" the boy said.

"Cosmic?" Tsuna questioned.

"my dragon!" kumo said hopefully.

"Your dragon?" Tsuna said not really believing the boy.

"ya! he's this big! dad says mom made him" he said holding his hands apart about half a foot. "he's blue with black sparkly flames on his tail and orange eyes like dad said my eyes are gonna turn."

Tsuna sighed and looked at his family who nodded.

"Alright let's go, but I warned you." Tsuna said as he headed in the direction of Kumo's house or what's left of it. The others had told the children to head towards town where the police will return them to their families.

Once there Kumo wiggled free and made a beeline for the door.

"Kumo!" Tsuna called running after the boy.

“Cosmic!” the boy yelled panicked. Tsuna came up to the panicked boy putting a hand on the boy's shoulder. Kumo turned around and clung to Tsuna and started crying. Tsuna knelt down and hugged the boy, trying to calm him down.

“I want Cosmic…” he cried quietly.

“He’s gone Kumo.” Tsuna said softly.

After a bit Kumo mumbled “i don't want to be here anymore…”

“Where do you want to be?” Tsuna asked

Kumo looked up at Tsuna “... with you?..” he said though it sounded like a question.

“Certainly Kumo.” Tsuna said.

Kumo nodded and hide his face against Tsuna again.Tsuna stood up holding Kumo and nodded before heading to the Vongola mansion where he called home.

Kumo sat in the front room kicking his feet against the couch as he looks around a bored expression on his face. He sighed and grabbed a pillow and fell back so he was laying on the couch. He threw the pillow into the air and as it came down he kicked as hard as he could sending it flying across the room. He sat up fast hopping he hadn't broken anything.

“Kumo what happened?” Hayato asked as he walked past.

The boy's cheeks puff out a bit “I'm bored…” he mumbled.

“Why don’t you got play with Lambo he’s around your age.” Hayato said shifting a stack of paperwork in his arms. Kumo jumped to his feet and nodded, he grabbed the fallen pillow and tossed it back onto the couch, before taking off in search of a playmate. Lambo was in the garden playing with I-Pin. Kumo at first watched while staying relatively hidden before slowly come out with a hopeful expression. Lambo looked back his eyes lighting up.

“Kumo!” The young lightning guardian called happily.

Kumo smiled and waved with one hand while the other was in the pocket of his jeans “hey”

“Come play with us Kumo-nii.” Fuuta called waving his hand over.

Kumo nodded and jogged over to them.

“Ne~ ne~ what do you want to play Kumo-nii?” Lambo asked

Kumo scratched his jaw “well… i like playing dragons…”

Lambo and the other two looked confused.

“How do you play that Kumo-nii?” Fuuta asked

Kumo smiled “all you have to do is pretend to be a dragon!” the boys brown eyes glittered excitedly.

“Really!?” The two six year olds exclaimed, while the other ten year old’s eyes widened

Kumo nodded quickly. He quickly ruffled up his hair and widened his stance before pointing a finger at the others “i am the mighty dragon Wren! Fear me!”

“I am Lambo-sama the ruler of all dragons bow before me! Gahahaha!” Lambo yelled happily.

“I will never bow to you Lambo, I am a lone dragon I bow to no one!” Fuuta said

“Well Wren is the master of fire magic! He’s super strong!” kumo said pointing to himself smiling “so you would have to be extremely worthy for me to bow to you”

After a while it was nearing dinner and the kids haven’t come in yet, so, a maid was going out to get them but was stopped by Tsuna

“Anna, where are the kids?” Tsuna asked.

“In the garden Decimo.” Anna said. Tsuna nodded in thanks before heading to the garden. Once there Tsuna saw them playing pretend and he smiled at them. He quietly walked up behind them still smiling.

“I’m big brother dragon and I say it’s time for dinner.” Tsuna said picking up Lambo with said kid squealing. Kumo yelped in surprise  and laughed, diving into some bushes. Tsuna laughed as he set down Lambo who ran towards the mansion in pretend fear followed closely by I-Pin and shortly after Futta.

“Come out Kumo, or do you want me to find you and tickle you?” Tsuna called teasing. Unknown to him his guardians, the maids and the butlers were videotaping the cuteness.

“You'll never find the mighty Wren!” Kumo said and laughed the bush he was in shuddering. Tsuna smirked and snuck over to the bush Kumo was hiding in. Tsuna parted the bush and picked up Kumo who he promptly starting tickling. Kumo let out another yelp before he erupted with laughter trying to wiggle free from the ‘attack’. Tsuna laughed but didn’t let go of the boy.

“Come on it’s time for dinner Kumo.” Tsuna said in between laughter.

“Okay! Okay!” the boy said desperately, still laughing, “stop please!”

Tsuna put Kumo down still laughing. Once Tsuna set Kumo down he started walking back towards the mansion. Kumo quickly followed Tsuna, as they walked Kumo grabbed Tsuna’s hand and smiled up at him. Tsuna smiled down at him before looking back up.

“Okay you can stop taping!” Tsuna called towards the mansion. Everyone put down their phones and or camera and snuck back to their duties.
