We were ambushed, they knocked everyone out yes including me the boss. I was now, and have been since I woke up, tied up somewhere. I have no idea where because, one i was knocked out, and two I have a black cloth tied over my eyes so I can't see anything. I'm laying on my back with my hands tied over my head, but I can still feel my hair so I'm assuming that my elbows are bent. I can't even move them down so I'm assuming they are tied to something. I'm alone, and I can't ignite my flames that much I know. As for location and who I'm being held captive by and why I have no idea. I don't even know if my family is safely looking for me, or are in the same situation as me. I must be the worst boss for being captured and leading my family into an ambush and I'm suppose to be Vongola Decimo. That's right I'm the sixteen year old boss of Vongola Tsunayoshi Sawada and from what I just ranted about I've been captured by an enemy family and I don't know which one. I laid there for along time before someone came in and walked over to me.

"Decimo, Decimo. You let yourself get captured to easily, what do you have to say for yourself?" Someone asked grabbing my chin. I moved my head away and let my killing intent radiat off of me.

"Who are you?!" I snapped pulling on whatever was tying my hands up. The person grabbed my tie slightly choking me.

"That is none of your business for now Decimo." The person said so close to my face I could feel their breath on my neck. I shivered a bit not in fear but in discomfort at the person's closeness.

"Oh are you scared not knowing who has imprisoned you?" The person sneered spitting as they did so.

"Me scared never." I said a bit snarkily. The person tisked and let go of my tie and left slamming the door closed behind them.

"Why can't he hear us?!" Hayato yelled banging on the glass wall that separated the guardians from their boss.

"I don't know Hayato, but it seems like we can hear him." Takeshi said trying to calm down the silver haired bomber.

"The glass must be sound proof on this side not the other." Chrome muttered sitting in the back of the glass room they were in holding a crying seven year old Lambo.

"I want Tsuna-nii!" Lambo cried as he hugged Chrome. Chrome looked up at their boss, the room he was in looked very much like a hospital room but had more of a evil feel to it.

"I know Lambo we all want to go to Tsuna but we can't so could you please stop crying, it'll help Tsuna so he doesn't worry about you." Chrome said softly rocking Lambo.

"A-alright *sniff* if it helps *sniff* Tsuna-nii" Lambo muttered as he calmed down. An electrical wearing sound filled the room the brunette boss was in, bring the guardians attention to the room. Nothing seemed to be happening causing the guardians to worry.

Kumo ran around frantically his eyes flashing "where is everyone!?" he shouted as he nearly tripped down the stairs. Reborn sighed sitting on the couch in the foeor drinking his espresso. After a few more minutes Kumo made a beeline for the door panic present in his eyes. Reborn stood up to follow the frantic boy out of the mansion. He looks around before taking off top speed in a random direction. Reborn followed close behind not really saying anything yet.

"Kumo where do you think you're going?" Reborn asked.

Kumo stopped "i... i don't know..." his bangs covering his eyes. Reborn put a hand on the boy's head.

"Don't worry we will find them." Reborn said. Just then Hibird came flying up to Reborn.

"Kyoya. Kyoya" Hibird said landing next to Leon.

"I-i'll help!" Kumo said with a nod, determination glowing in his eyes. Reborn nodded and Hibird flew away telling both Reborn and Kumo to follow him, and follow they did.

"TSUNA!!!!!" The guardians yelled though Tsuna couldn't hear them through the glass. Tsuna was in pain and the worst thing about that is he didn't know what was causing it. The guardians seeing their boss in pain and them not being able to do anything about that, made them worried and ticked. The people who caused Tsuna's pain was laughing in amusement. It was the Esperono family who was doing the things to the Vongola, when the upper part of the mansion shook with an explosion.

"What was that!" Both the guardians and the Esperono yelled. Tsuna was panting to hard to say much of anything. Alarms started blaring and the Esperono got worried while the Vongola's where hopeful.

"Attack!!!!" Kumo screamed and rushed forward with a yell. Reborn rolled his eyes and pulled out both his Leon gun and his real gun and started killing any enemy he spotted which was most of them. Kumo rushed through dodging past people "Tsuna! Guys!" he yelled as he looked around frantically. Reborn followed quickly after the little boy killing everyone in his path. Kumo, seeing stairs bolted down them nearly tripping "Tsuna!! Where are you all?"

The guardians heard and started pounding on the glass hoping for someone to hear them. Tsuna was about to yell out, but he was punch so they could keep him quiet. Kumo came around the corner his eyes glowing with a mix of anger and worry.

"What is this kid doing here......." One of the Esperono said. Reborn growled as he aimed his gun at the people who was standing over Tsuna who was tied up.

Kumo pointed at the people not noticing Reborn and shouted. "Let Tsuna and the others go!"

"Not a chance k-kid." One stuttered shrinking under Reborn's glare. Reborn growled before killing the men.

Kumo rushed toward Tsuna "Tsuna!"

"Kumo?" Tsuna asked not sure who it was but recognized the voice.

"Yup, me and Reborn are here" he said and pull off the thing covering Tsuna's eyes then started messing with the ties on his wrists. Tsuna closed his eyes since he was blinded by the sudden exposure of light, then looked at Kumo.

"How did you find me?" Tsuna muttered looking at both Reborn and Kumo.

"Reborn did" kumo said as he got one of Tsuna's hand free.

"Actually Hibird lead us here." Reborn said noticing the others but didn't care at the moment.

Kumo got Tsuna's other hand free and climbed off the bed. "I'm gonna get the others" he said and turned around now seeing the others. Tsuna sat up rubbing his wrists then looked up to see his worried guardians. A bit shocked that they were so close but yet so far. Kumo went up to the glass and put a hand against it like he was try to figure how to get rid of it. Reborn sighed and shot the glass making it shatter. Kumo yelped in surprise and jumped back. Once the glass had settled on the ground and even a bit before that, the guardians made a beeline towards Tsuna to make sure he was alright. Kumo smiled glad everyone was okay, now to escape. He looked toward the door, watching for more bad guys. And said bad guys did come, the guardians where on the defensive while Tsuna stood up but started to fall only to be caught by Reborn.

"Leave this to your guardians, Dame-Tsuna" Reborn grunted. Tsuna sighed but nodded anyway.

Kumo looked between Tsuna and the enemies contemplating what to do. He decided at something he was good at, being distracting. He rushed to the bed and jumped on it "hey! Over here!" he yelled. He then jumped off and promptly started running around the room ducking past attacks. One big guy started trying to corner Kumo slashing at him. Tsuna was getting worried and moved slightly away from Reborn who was firing at the enemies. The big guy took a swing at Kumo's face only to meet with Tsuna's neck, though it was not fatal but it would be if left. Kumo's eyes widen his mouth dropping open in shock. Tsuna fell and the man was killed by Reborn who, with Ryohei, immediately came over and started healing Tsuna so he didn't die, all the while Tsuna was fading in and out of consciousness.

Kumo watched before he looked up a bit, his bangs covering his eyes. The air around him seemed to drop in temperature. Everyone felt the change in temperature but none looked for who it was coming from. Kumo looked fully up eyes burning with anger. The ring chained around his neck flashed and ignited with a black starry flame, the same flame caught around his hands and head. Around the same time but a little afterwards Tsuna had lost consciousness.

It's been a few days since Reborn and Kumo had freed everyone. Tsuna was now safe and laying in the infirmary recovering from nearly being killed, and now had a bandage around his neck. Kumo sat on the bed besides Tsuna's, having refused to move for quite some time. Tsuna shifted a bit as he woke up, he tried to make a sound but silently winced a bit. "Tsuna!" Kumo said jumping to his feet "d-don't say anything! Y-you got hurt bad" Tsuna glance at Kumo a bit groggy and weak but smiled none the less at the boy who cared so much about him. Kumo frowned "w-why? Why are you looking at me like that. Its because of me you got hurt.." Kumo teard up "I should have just hid, but instead I ran around like an idiot." Tsuna silently sighed and slightly shook his head. Kumo leaned on Tsuna's bed gripping the sheets, tears running down his cheeks. "I'm sorry" the 11 year old said. Tsuna lifted a hand and put it on Kumo's head wanting to say something but couldn't. Kumo looked up at Tsuna tears in his eyes. It was obvious that Tsuna wanted to say something to comfort the boy, but he knew better. Kumo crawled onto the bed and curled up beside him, trying not to cry. Tsuna patted the boy's head trying calm him down. Kumo rolled over so he was facing Tsuna, and said "I'm, sorry..." he reached up and wiped his face "if I hadn't run around, you wouldn't of had to protect me..." Tsuna shook his as if saying 'I would have anyway.' Kumo hid his face against Tsuna, still crying and whimpering a bit, clearly still extremely worried. Tsuna sighed silently his throat and neck still throbbing. The next day Tsuna was still in the infirmary still unable to talk or make a sound. He was sitting up reading a book. Kumo was in the bed next to him fiddling with the ring around his neck, like he was trying to figure it out. Clearly what had happened had dampened the 11 year olds mood but was clearly feeling a bit better today. His eyes narrow before his dropped it with a sigh. He flopped onto his back and stared at the ceiling with his glittering brown eyes. Tsuna looked over slightly at the boy with a questioned look. Kumo looked over then held up the ring with the chain "I wanna know how this thing works..."

Tsuna made a movement of understanding and lifted up his hand which had his ring on it before lighting it up in orange sky flames. Kumo shot into a sitting position then looked at his ring then back to Tsuna "should I put mine on?" Tsuna nodded a bit. Kumo looked at his ring then took the chain off his neck. He took the ring off the chain and put it on his right middle finger. Tsuna snapped his book shut so he could watch Kumo. "k... what do I do now?" Kumo asked looking a little confused. Tsuna knew how to explain it but he couldn't verbally. Kumo narrowed his eyes at the ring. "Hum... how did I do it the first time?.." Kumo sighed. Tsuna shrugged not remembering much after protecting Kumo from the man.

Kumo sighed then shrugged "I guess I'll just have to wait for now" Tsuna looked apologetic. A few days later Tsuna was up and doing what he normally does which was sit in his office signing paper work. Though he was still unable to talk, he could make sounds though not for a long period of time and now he had a pad of paper he could write on to 'talk' to others. Kumo mostly stayed out of people's ways, keeping to himself, trying to figure out how to work his ring. On a day when Tsuna didn't have paperwork he roamed the halls and the garden, and today was one of those days. Tsuna was wondering the garden testing out his voice trying to get it back and it was coming slowly, though a bit painfully, for now it was extremely hoarse and quiet. Kumo was in a semi-hidden part of the of the garden. His fist with the ring was stuck out his eyes closed, his face screwed up with concentration. Tsuna was walking towards his favorite spot in the garden when he saw Kumo looking like he was concentrating on something.

"What are you doing Kumo?" Tsuna asked though he didn't think the boy heard it. Kumo bit his lip tencing up before letting out a sigh and letting his arm drop to his side. He hung his head his bangs in his eyes. Tsuna walked up to the boy and knelt down in front of him, a bit worried.

Kumo looked at Tsuna "I can't do it Tsuna... I can't figure it out.."

Tsuna smiled softly before holding up his hand that had his ring and igniting it.

"The reason is because you don't know what your pride and will is and you haven't pictured a flame. Once you have those things you can light your ring." Tsuna said though it was more of a whisper.

Kumo looked at the ground "my pride and will?.." Tsuna nodded. "I... don't know what they are..." kumo said "how did I do it before?.."

"I don't know, Kumo." Tsuna shrugged.

"I-I just want to be able to help you guys... like what you did for me..." tears formed in the corner of his eyes "all you've done is help me, I wanna be able to help you" he wiped his face with the back of his hand sniffing. Tsuna sighed and pulled the boy into a hug.

"Family protects each other. And you helped us by freeing us from the Esperanto family, we couldn't ask for more." Tsuna said before his voice gave out.

Kumo hugged him back before stepping back with a smile on his face "thanks, I feel better now." he threw his ringed fist in the air "I'll just have to try harder so I can help protect everyone!" he shouted, now sounding excited. Tsuna smiled and stood up to leave for his favorite place. "Tsuna! Can I come?" Kumo asked tilting his head. Tsuna nodded and lead the way. Kumo looked excited and chased after Tsuna smiling.
