Akshara finds out that her PI has successfully helped Kairav out of Kunal's clutches. She also receives the much needed evidence. She wants to go with Abhimanyu now but before she could leave, Kunal's truth comes out in front of Abhimanyu who then bashes him badly. The manager of the resort takes the three away.

Late Night | Resort- Jaipur

Abhimanyu's eyes were trained on Akshara as she calmy told the manager that her name is not Akanksha Khera. Kunal was not her brother but her captor. He was using her voice for his sister who was a competitor. The manager was stunned to know something like was going on in his resort but did not want it to leak as it would mean bad publicity. The lead producer of the show was called and they were extremely shocked by the news as well.

Lead Producer: Kya bakwas hai ye sb?! Ye ladki jhoot bol rahi hai

Abhimanyu: Aisa hai toh call that Maya-Meena jo bhi naam hai uska. Ask her to sing.

Maya was called from her room. It was past midnight and she was alarmed when she saw so many people. She saw her brother leaning against the wall, sporting injuries.

Maya: Bhai!!! (to others) kya hua mere bhai ko?!

Abhimanyu: Paap pakda gaya...

Maya: what nonsense! Hai kon ye!? Some crazy fan....

Abhimanyu: I am a fan of the voice, which sadly is not yours...

Maya's eyes widened. The producer told her what had happened and asked her to sing one-two lines for their benefit. Maya tried to throw a fit but when she failed and Akshara sang some lines, it was crystal clear that Maya was a fraud. She was immediately thrown out of the competition and charges were pressed against her. Also, charges were pressed against Kheras by Abhimanyu despite Akshara wanting to let everything go.

By the time the whole situation wrapped up, the day was about to break. Abhimanyu was heading towards his room with Akshara when the door swung open and out walked Parth.

Parth: KAHAN HAI VO MURDERER!!? WHERE THE HELL IS HE AKSHARA?!

Akshara winced and shifted behind Abhimanyu but Parth grabbed her.

Shefali: What the hell Parth!? Ye kaise behaviour hai?

Abhimanyu: Bhai Kairav Akshu ke sath nahi tha...

Parth: WE ALL SAW THE VIDEO ABHIMANYU! HE IS WITH HER! MERI BEHEN KA KATIL, KAHAN HAI AKSHARA!?!?!???

Parth shook her violently, muttering hurtful words. Abhimanyu was trying to control his brother but even his control was slipping. He wanted to strangle his own cousin. Akshara's eyes widened. She had not slept in more than 24 hours, been through a rollercoaster of emotions and the panic of his accusations finally got to her. Her breathing became laboured.

Akshara: Bh-ai...nahi....nahi....saboot ....Bhai...Nahi...

Abhimanyu grabbed Parth from his back and pulled him off his wife and held her close.

Abhimanyu: Akshu, breathe. Please...

Shefali: Calm down Akshara.... (Glares at Parth) dekho kya kiya tumne!?

Parth: Tumhe pta hai na kya kiya hai iske bhai ne!?

Shefali: What is her fault!?

Abhimanyu: BHAI BHABHI, APKO LADNA HAI TOH PLEASE BAHAR JAIYE...(To Akshara) Baba, please breathe...sing...sing...

Parth: Meri behen ko maar dala, sing in celebration of that Akshara!

Akshara felt her throat closing and the room started to spin. She let go of herself in Abhimanyu's arms.

Abhimanyu: AKSHU!!!

Shefali: Oh god! Isse kya hua?

Abhimanyu: Shyd panic ya exhaustion ki wajah se...

Shefali: Let's get her help...

Abhimanyu lifted her in his arms and headed out, worried sick for his wife.

Shefali Birla had gone with Abhimanyu to aid him. Parth was sitting on bed, fuming. He got a call from Anand.

Parth: Dad?

Anand: Parth, Shivu kaisa hai?

Parth: Thik hai, so raha hai...

Anand: zara face to dikha...

Parth points his camera at a sleeping Shivansh. Anand gets emotional.

Anand: Anisha ke jaane ke baad ek Shivu hi hai jiske liye khud ko sambhal paye hum...

Parth also got emotional hearing this. Mahima entered the room and saw Anand was chatting with Parth and her grandson's face was on the screen.

Mahima: Jaane kb milega meri bacchi ko insaaf?

Parth: (wipes tears angrily) Jaldi mil jayega Maa. Abhimanyu ko Akshara mil gayi hai, ab Kairav bhi jaldi mil jayega...

Anand/Mahima: Kya!?

While Parth filled them in about what happened in Udaipur as far as he knew. Abhimanyu and Shefali rushed Akshara to the nearest hospital. The owner was Harshvardhan's friend and recognized Abhimanyu so her let him assist Akshara's case but there wasn't much he could do except wait for her to open his eyes.

Shefali: Chinta mt karo Abhimanyu, hosh aa jayega usse.

Abhimanyu: (nods) hosh me to usse ana hi hoga bhabhi, mere itna sawal hai....kuch ke jawab mile hai pr mai aur ulajh gaya hoon. Jb tk Akshu ke mu se puri baat na jaan loon, mujhe chain nahi ayega...

Shefali: Pr hua kya? Akshu uss room me kr kya rahi thi...

Abhimanyu told her what he saw. Kunal Khera held her captive and from what he gathered, she had been in his custody all these months. He was using her to fulfil his sister's dreams.

Shefali: Oh my god! Hum itne mahine kya kya sochte rahe aur yahan to poori baat hi badal gayi!? Isliye police bhi nahi doondh paa rahi thi. Humare assumptions hi galat they...

A nurse came out.

Nurse: Dr. Abhimanyu?

Abhimanyu: Yes?

Nurse: Apko Dr. Bansal bula rahe hai to discuss about your wife.

Shefali: Tum jao Abhimanyu, mai wapis resort jaati hoon, Shivu bhi uthne wala hoga...

Abhimanyu: I understand bhabhi...

Shefali returned to the resort while Abhimanyu went inside the cabin.

Shefali had entered the room, angry at Parth. She did not speak a word and started to tend to her son. Parth was also agitated as he felt his wife did not support him. Shefali bathed and fed Shivansh. Then, she went to check on her work and the team one last time before leaving Jaipur. By the time she came back to her room, her son was already tucked for his afternoon nap, thanks to Parth.

Shefali: Pa-

They heard a knock and opened the door. Mahima marched inside roaring.

Mahima: where is she!?

Shefali: Mom?

Mahima: WHERE IS AKSHARA!?

She was accompanied by Anand, Harshvardhan and a sniffing Manjiri.

Shefali: Parth tumne ghar pr bhi inform kr diya?

Kunal: Haan, so? Koi secret thodi tha?

Mahima: I have no time to waste. Aaj uss ladki ko mujhe meri beti ke murderer ka pata dena hi hoga. Usse Anisha ko justice na milne dene ki saza zarur milegi..

Shefali: Akshara ko nahi pata Kairav kahan hai!

Parth: usne kaha aur tumne maan liya?

Shefali: Vo kehne layak halat me kahan hai? Tumne jo kiya uske baad se usse hosh hi nahi aya..

Manjiri: Kya? Akshu behosh hai? kya ho raha hai yahan? Aur Abhi? Mera Abhi kahan hai?

Shefali: Chachi, hume zyada kuch toh nahi pata pr itna pata hai Abhimanyu ko Akshara kal shaam ko dikhi thi pr ko kissi se darr rahi thi. Usne apna room number bataya aur raat me jb Abhimanyu wahan gaya toh usse pta chala ki Akshara ko Dr. Kunal Khera ne zabardasti apni behen ki co-singer banakr rakha hua hai...

All are stunned by this. Parth felt a guilty.

Shefali: aur tumhe pata hai Parth, Abhimanyu ne bataya Kunal Akshara ko pair me tracker pehna kr rakhta tha, vo bhi shock wala jisse vo bhaag na paye...saari baat to hume nahi pata pr Kairav agar Akshu ke saath hota toh mil jata na!

Manjiri: Hey bhagwan!! Akshu kahan hai ab?

Shefali: Hospital me

Harshvardhan: Hume bhi wahin chalta chahiye...

They start rushing out. Parth picked up his son and Mahima's eyes fell on an envelope on the floor. She picked it up and saw the words proof written on it.

Mahima: Ye?

Parth: (frowns) pta nahi kahan se aya. Itni tension me dhyan hi nahi gaya...

She nodded and was scanning the envelope when her phone pinged.

Arohi: You got to see this!

She had attached a picture of Kairav sitting on the couch with his head in Suhasini's lap.

Arohi: But Akshu is not with him.

Parth: Chale Mom?

Mahima: Haan but hospital nahi, Udaipur!

................

Abhimanyu was sitting on the bed where a sleeping Akshara was resting. There was a tube attached to her arm and she looked serene. Abhimanyu looked the hollowness of her face up close. He raised a tentative finger to touch the bags under her eyes but stopped. He recalled what the doctor had told him.

Flashback

Abhimanyu entered the doctor's cabin. He informed him that while Akshara's reasons for unconsciousness was fatigue and stress, her reports suggested she wasn't fully fit physically. Any other person would have gained consciousness by now but Akshara was weak. Her examination shows a lack and she was more likely not on proper diet

Doctor: It can take a huge toll on her soon. You really need to work on her intake of food and make sure she eats. I don't know if you noticed but your wife's ribs are popping.

Abhimanyu cursed himself and the demon behind bars. What kind of a trash person starves someone? He discussed Akshara's condition with the doctor and then came to sit beside her in her room.

Flashback ends

Abhimanyu was thinking about all that had happened since his surgery. His waking up to a missing wife and runaway brother-in-law. How the video made everyone connect the two. Everyone around him was fighting and it was instilled in his head that his wife picked her family over him and now finding her in this state sans her brother kind of put everything to question.

Why did Akshara go with Kunal Khera in the first place? If she ran away with Kairav, where was her? Questions, questions and loads of questions. The key to them all was laying without a care in the world but Abhimanyu could tell by the frown on her head that even in this state- she wasn't fully resting.

The door of the ward opened loudly and in ran his family. His mother gasped audibly seeing Akshara in that condition. She kept a hand on Abhimanyu's shoulder, knowing well that this must be tearing her son apart. Harshvardhan and Anand were more professional when it came to hospitals and maintained silence in the patients room. Shefali kept a hand on Manjiri's shoulder and asked her to be strong.

Manjiri: Pr ye hua kya hai? Akshu us doctor ke sath thi?? Kyu???

Abhimanyu: Hum bewakoof they jinhe laga vo doctor mera ilaj free me kr raha hai kyunki mai bhi ek doctor hoon, usko starting se Akshu ki awaz me interest tha....

He looked away as angry tears started to fill his eyes.

Harshvardhan: I think we should call Goenkas.

Anand glared at him.

Harshvardhan: Personal differences aside, ye us ghar ki beti hai jo itne mahine missing thi. They deserve to know.

Manjiri: H-haan bhaisahab. Humari tarah vo bhi pta nahi kya soch kr baithe honge aur Akshu toh aise-

Shefali: Parth nahi aya? Vo toh Mom ke sath tha na...

Abhimanyu: Bhai meri nazro se filhal door hi rahe toh behtar hoga...

He spoke in a curt tone. Abhimanyu urged his family to leave and that he would leave too, as soon as Akshara wakes up.

Abhimanyu was in Jaipur with Akshara. Shefali had checked out of the resort and was confused to know Parth and Mahima left already, that too with Shivansh who was too young to stay away from his mother for long. She also left with Anand, Harshvardhan and Manjiri. 

While they were on the way, Parth and Mahima were already halfway to Udaipur. Parth tried to change his mother's mind for the nth time.

Parth: Mom, apne proof dekha na. Kairav is innocent.

Mahima: Kitni baar kahun Parth? He is NOT. Anisha ko dhakka nahi diya usne pr Anisha ko wahan khade hone pr majboor kisne kiya? Vo kitni khush thi apne function me! Vo itni dukhi kyu hui ki usse ye kadam lena pada? Kairav ne dhakka bhale na diya ho pr meri beti ne jo kiya, ussi ki wajah se kiya. This pendrive proves nothing!

Parth: Buts its proof enough for the police.

Mahima: and that is why we will keep it well hidden! Not shut up and forgot this pen drive exists.

Parth sat back thinking what Mahima just said while she called a number.

Mahima: Hello? Udaipur police station?
