Recap: Mahima's conversation with the police is overheard by Parth who tries to convince her to do the right thing but in vain. Goenkas are trying hard to sort the situation for Kairav and Manish when Akhilesh receives a devastating call.

Followed by the cruel treatment at the police station, Kairav is hospitalized. Owing to his history as a heart patient and recent traumas, he is extremely critical. Disturbed by her brother's condition, Akshara decides to go against Kairav's wishes in order to save him and punish his culprits.

Nothing could have prepared Birlas for the storm that hit them early morning as Akshara marched inside the house. Her eyes were red and it was clear she had not slept a wink in a long time but her stance said she meant business. She was really to pull all the Birlas down from their high horses and make them pay.

She put down the folder she was carrying and looked at them. Most of them where sitting at the breakfast table. Abhimanyu was coming down when he heard her. He frowned and assumed that maybe she was mad that he did not get Manish out of Jail.

Akshara: The great Birlas! Please, aiye na..

Mahima: Aa gayi ye ladki subah subah dimag kharab krne. Apne murderer bhai ko bachane ke liye isse bhi arrest ho jaana chahiye.

Abhimanyu: Taiji!! ek baar sun toh lijiye vo kyun aayi hai..

Akhilesh: Kisse Jail honi chahiye aur kisse nahi, ye toh waqt batayega.

They heard Akhilesh and saw the entire Goenka family, including Suhasini who was in wheelchair, enter the house. They were followed by some police officers.

Manjiri: Ye sb kya ho raha hai? Kyu kr rahe ho ye sb? Bs kijiye...

Manjiri was concerned. She looked at her son who looked ill. She knew this distance from Akshara was killing him. All this legal fight for someone who is dead would affect the relationship of the living, specially her son and as usual, that was all she cared about.

Anand: Humari beti ka badla hum lekr rahenge.

Shefali: Insaaf hona chahiye. Galat ko saza toh milni hi chahiye.

Akshara: Exactly! Galat ko saza milni hi chahiye. I agree. Aap bhi apni baat se peeche mt hatna.

Mahima: Peeche hatne ka kaam tum Goenkas ka hai. Anyways, ye humara ghar hai, koi park nahi jo tum morning walk pr aa gayi!!. (To police) what is all this officer?

Akshara: (answers before he could) humara ghar bhi koi park nahi hai pr aap wahan aayi na? Police, media ...sbko lekr. Aap toh sukhr manao ki maine media ko nahi involve kiya.

Abhimanyu: Kyu tamasha kr rahi ho Akshu-Akshara? Is it about Badepapa? Unki bail-

Akshara: Not just about him! It about bhai, my bhai whom you all have wronged. Mai unki wajah se chup thi pr kal se jo unki halat hai..(wipes her tears and glares at Mahima) ab bs!!

She told the policemen and everyone present that she needs 10 minutes of their time to prove the truth. Mahima argued with her. Akshara shut her up by saying that she'd either present all this proof in court or here. Birlas shut up wondering what proof she had now.

Akshara: Maine aap sbko pehle bhi bataya tha. Abhimanyu ki surgery ke din mujhe Kunal Khera ne sunset point bulaya tha. Wahan unki shart sunkr mai shock me baithi thi ki maine bhai ko dekha. Vo suicide krna chahte they. I stopped him and took him to the station jahan Mrs. Mahima Birla was urging the police to kill him in a fake encounter. Bhai ki halat kharab ho gayi aur maine bhi bhai ko hide kiya ye sochkr ki surgery ke baad mai baat karungi Abhimanyu se iss bare me pr vo mauka nahi mila and I had to leave with him.

Mahima interrupted saying they heard this fake story earlier but Akshara continued as if she had not been interrupted, ignoring her yelling. She took out some papers from her folder and gave it to Abhimanyu and Harshvardhan.

Akshara: Ye proof hai ki bhai yahan se jaane ke baad admit they aur unki medication aaj tk chalu hai. He is a trauma patient.

Anand: So? He feels guilty for what he did! Criminal hai vo!

Akshara: Kissi se shadi krne se mana kr dena crime hai? (Turns to Abhimanyu) I hate to bring this up but tumne bhi Arohi se shaadi krne se mana kiya tha, vo bhi shaadi ke din. Agar Arohi khudko kuch kr leti toh tum responsible hote?

Abhimanyu was dumbfounded hearing this.

Manjiri: ye aisa kaise bol sakti hai? (cries)

Vansh: usne bs ek same situation ka example diya hai...

Mahima: Shaadi se mana krna uska haq tha, meri beti ki jaan lena nahi...! usne uksaya use. Arohi ko pta tha Abhimanyu majboori me haan kr raha hai, pyaar nahi krta aur shaadi tutne ki wajah vo khud thi. Tumhare bhai ne toh pehle pyaar ka drama kiya, phir rasmo ke beech me vo sb kaha jisse Anisha wahan se chali gayi...aur phir Dhaka de diya terrace se meri bacchi ko!!

Akshara: Bhai ne koi drama nahi kiya. Pyaar ka khel toh Anisha ne khela tha aur bhaiya ne usse nahi mara. (to police) I had a video proof of the terrace cctv jisme saaf hai ki bhai Anisha ko vo step uthane se rok rahe hai. Anisha ka pair slip hua tha!

Police: Had a proof mtlb? Dekhiye koi proof nahi hai toh hum yahan baaten sunne nahi aye hai! Don't waste our time!

Mahima: Exactly! Ye kahani bana rahi hai. She has nothing to back it up.

Akshara: Who said I don't?

Mahima and Parth froze. Did she have proof? Others got curious.

Akshara: Officer, the proof that showed my brother innocent was taken from me but ek aur proof hai. Bhai ka sach nahi sabit kr skti mai pr Anisha ka sach hai mere pass.

She turned to others.

Akshara: Anisha was having an affair!

Abhimanyu looked at her in disbelief. He did not want to doubt her but hearing this about his dead sister wasn't easy. Especially when Anisha kept telling him that she only loved Kairav when she was alive. He looked at her picture in the hall and held his tears. His sister did not deserve this but the woman saying this was the wife he loves! He was emotionally torn.

Her statement also sent Anand and Mahima in an uproar. Others were hurt and angry at her statement for their dead daughter but the parents felt the outright insult.

Mahima: How dare you!!!?

Akshara: How dare I? How dare you ruin my family! How dare she ruin my bhai! Sh-

Mahima raised her hand to slap Akshara but her hand was held by Swarna.

Abhimanyu: Taiji!!!

Swarna: (jerked her hand away) Mere pati, mere pote ke saath bohot galat kr chuki tum. AB BS!

Akshara: Dekhiye. I understand apne bacche ke baare me ye sb sunna difficult hai but jo ab iss duniya me nahi hai, uske liye mai mere bhai ko suffer nahi krne dungi. Specially tb jb unki koi galti bhi nahi thi. Isliye... (opens her folder) proof no. one!

She passed the photographs to the people before her. The police, Birlas- everyone scanned the picture of Anisha with a man. Vansh set up the laptop and Akshara played a video.

It seemed to be a hotel waiting area. Anisha is seen sitting with the same man from the pictures. They were sitting rather close when a woman barged inside. She roared at the man and slapped Anisha. She called her a home-wrecker and threw her on the ground while dragging her husband away.

Birlas had not recovered from what they had seen when Akshara passed some more papers around.

Akshara: Anisha was clever and it took my PI as lot of work to obtain her deleted mails. You can see that this man, who is a producer, wooed Anisha. He promised her a break in a movie. In dono ne ek mail me iss video wale incident ko bhi discuss kiya hai. End me uss admi ne kaha ki usne apni biwi ko samjha diya hai ki kuch nahi tha waisa aur ab agey se in dono ko careful rehna hoga. (to Manjiri) apke hath me jo mail hai, usme Anisha aur vo admi apne affair ko secret rakhne ke tareeke discuss kr rahe hai.

Manjiri nodded weakly. She knew for a fact that if it was any other person, she would be disgusted for sure. Just because the person is like a daughter to her, she shouldn't be unfair.

Akshara: Yakin nahi hota to mera pass us aurat ka number aur details bhi hai. Usne apne husband ko divorce de diya hai aur vo sb sach bata degi. Anisha ka call record bhi uss admi ke calls se bhara hua hai.

Mahima was shocked. It hurt her badly to see her dead child's character getting pulled apart like this.

Mahima: still! It gave Kairav rights to end the relationship, not her!

Akshara: I get your hurt, trust me, I do but Anisha ka plan tha ye sb. Vo kabhi marna nahi chahti thi. Vo sirf suicide ki dhamki dekr bhai ko dara rahi thi taki uska sach bhai family me na bata de but her leg slipped. It was a genuine accident. Cctv ki footage toh nahi hai mere pass but I have this.

Akshara played some call recordings. It was Anisha's voice. She was in conversation with a man. They were discussing how Kairav was the perfect person for their plan. Birlas felt shame deep in their bones as they heard their daughter talk about love with a married man. She said Kairav was perfect pretend husband to hide their affair. Her only intention with Kairav was to use him to cover for her affair! As they heard further, they felt chills hearing how cold Anisha was.

Man- Baby, pr usse pta chal gaya toh?

Anisha- don't worry. Aisa kuch nahi hoga.

Man- still? What if he doesn't want to marry you so soon? Tum itne mahine se usse baat bhi nahi kr rahi ho..

Anisha: haan but mai usse mana lunga. Plus vo meri bhabhi ka bhai hai. Mujhe mana krne se pehle vo dus baar sochega.

Man- what!? Teri bhabhi ka bhai? Isse tere bhai ki relationship pr farak nahi padega?

Anisha: Nahi yrr..Manyu loves bhabhi ka lot! Vo kissi aur ke liye unhe kuch nahi kahega.

Man: Thik hai.

Abhimanyu felt ashamed. If only he could tell Anisha that her faith did not prove itself. He had hurt Akshara for others, for her.

Akshara played another audio where the man was complaining that he could not see her with anyone else and Anisha was comforting him by saying she only loved him. Kairav was just a cover for her. Arohi felt her heart clench. She had a hand in helping the culprit who caused her brother's sufferings! She wanted to bring Anisha back from the dead and kill her again for talking about her brother so lowly.

Abhimanyu closed his eyes. Neil and Parth sat down too. The brothers loved Anisha. They always wanted to think of her in an innocent light but her truth was killing them now. A part of them hoped this wasn't real.

Akshara: Final audio!

She hit press and at the same time, pulled the ground beneath everyone's feet.

Anisha- Ye Kairav maan hi nahi raha hai! bol raha hai khud bata do sbko wrna mai bata dunga... Aaj jaise taise baat sambhali maine pr kl mehendi hai. Vo ye function nahi hone dega.

Man- Ugh!! What now? Baby you come. We'll find you another fake husband.

Anisha- Kairav is perfect baby. Usse emotionally manipulate krna easy hai. Plus meri mom ne mujhe iss shadi ke karan acceptance dikhai hai. You know na, mai kitna crave krti thi unke love ko. I cannot lose it!

Man- but he won't marry you.

Anisha: haan! Problem toh hai. upar se bhabhi ko bhi sach pata hai. vo toh bhai ko stress nahi dena isliye vo unhe bata nahi rahi wrna bohot gadbad ho jaati...

Man- ab?

Anisha: Ab kya? Maine humari relationship ke proofs hide kr diye hai. Mails delete kr diye hai. Kairav ke liye kuch gifts order kiye hai taki usse pampered feel ho.

Man- Choti bacchii ho kya?!?!? Vo gift dekhr tumhara affair maaf kr dega?

Anisha- Nahi but mai usse convince kr lungi. Mai usse dhamki dungi ki mujhse shaadi kre aur kissi ko humara sach na bataye wrna mai suicide kr lungi. Trust me jb usne last time break up krke mujhse baat krni band kr di thi tb bhi maine yahi kiya tha and he came to have a conversation with me. The conversation moved to their love talks but everyone's mind was stuck on her 'pretend-suicide' plan. She was planning to use Kairav's trauma of losing his mothers to hit a nerve and force him to not unmask her but marry her instead! Despite knowing that she would never be a faithful partner to him!? Mahima lost her balance and sank on the floor. Manjiri cried and ran to support her. Harshvardhan kept a strong hand on Anand's shoulder. The younger ones looked at each other.

Anisha was a girl they all loved but her reality was dark and bitter. She was using someone's love for her to cover her affair with a married man- a man who was only a ladder to her career as an actresses. She was manipulating everyone's emotions to benefit her. Somehow they could not imagine this out of the girl they grew up with.

Akshara: You can cross verify all this. Anisha ka character certificate Mumbai me asani se mil gaya tha. (Her face fell to a sad smile) Ye sach toh mere pass bohot pehle se tha but bhai took a promise ki mai ye use nahi karungi. He still loved her despite everything. He did not want ki uske marne ke baad koi uske iss sach ko jaane. He forgave her! That is why it took me so long to land the proof. Anisha ko expose kiye bina sach sabit krne ka ek hi tareeka tha. But kl jo hua...

She got angry again and looked at the officer. One of them came forward.

Police: We did an enquiry and hume pata chala ki Mrs. Mahima Birla was paying one of our officers. Kairav Birla ko jail me unnecessary torture kiya gaya and he got hospitalized due to it.

Anand: what!? Mahima ye kya? Tum ye sb kyu??

Mahima was sitting on the floor and refused to meet anyone's eyes. Her daughter had broken the strong, confident doctor and made her a shamed mother who couldn't meet other's eyes.

Abhimanyu: Kairav ab kaisa hai?! Konse hospital me hai? Birlas me toh nahi hai...

Akshara: You really think mai bhai ko Birla hospital lekr aungi? BIRLAS!? Jo wajah hai unki halat ke, unhi se unka ilaaj hone dungi mai?

Abhimanyu looked down in guilt.

Akhilesh: Officers, apne saare proof dekh liye hai. It is evident that they are innocent. Kairav aur bhaisahab ko ab jaane dijiye. Hum kairav ka ilaj krwa lenge aur Bhaisahab ko bhi ab jail me nahi rehne denge...

Police: (nods) The proof needs to be presented to court. Aap ye saare mujhe handover kr dijiye.

Parth: NAHI! It will ruin Anisha

Arohi: ANISHA IS DEAD!

Vansh: uske liye hum humare zinda bhai ko jeete jee maar de?!

Parth: we'll take back the case but ye mt kro please. Mai haath jodta hoon....

Abhimanyu: Akshara, Kairav bhi nahi chahta tha ye...

Parth: exactly!

Akshara: Mai bhi apna promise nahi todna chahti but I cannot let him die either!

Parth: Hum case wapis le lenge!!! Sir-

Police: Koi mazak hai kya? Murder charges lagaye they. We need proof to write Kairav off as innocent.

Akshara: here-

Akshara nodded and started to give all the proof that she had when Parth stopped her again.

Parth: wait-

He rushed inside and came back with a pendrive.

Parth: Th-this is the Cctv foo-footage. Proof that Kairav did not push Anisha and that it was an accident.

He joined his hands in front of stunned Goenkas. Manjiri, Shefali, Neil and Nishtha joined him.

Parth: Please....

Anand and Harshvardhan joined their hands too and hung their heads low. Mahima was still sitting blankly after getting slapped by truth. She was numb. Abhimanyu was staring at Parth, a look of betrayal on his face. People from his family knew Kairav was innocent and still went ahead to punish him for something he did not do.

Akshara too held the pendrive. Her fingers were shaking. Goenkas were also shocked to see that Birlas could stoop so low. They had a relationship with Akshara and yet could not respect that.

Anand: Meri bacchii ne jo kiya. Hum sbne jo kiya vo ek maafi se thik nahi ho jayega but please. Anisha ke naam pr permanent kalank lagne se rok dijiye.

Manjiri: Jo marr chuke hai, unse kya badla lena...Anisha ka sach bahar aa gaya toh Nishtha ko bhi log judge karenge...

Suhasini: Betiyan humare bhi hai. Hum samjhte hai ki betiyon ki izzat kya hoti hai...

Arohi: Seriously!?

Suhasini: Hum bs apne baacho ko ghar dekhna chahte hai...

The household was torn. While Birlas pleaded to not oust Anisha's truth to public, most Goenkas wanted revenge. Akshara was quiet in the whole argument.

Police: BS KIJIYE AAP LOG! HUME PROOF DIJIYE. HUM JAA RAHE HAI..

Akshara kept the folder back on the table and gave the pen drive.

Arohi: Akshara...

Akshara: That is what bhai wanted. Mujhe decide krna ho toh mai Anisha ko, in logon ko kabhi maaf nahi karungi but Anisha asli gunhegaar bhai ki hai. So, I am trying to do as per his wish.

Police: (took the pen drive) Mr. Goenka ko aap jail se le jaa skte hai. We will release him and Kairav Goenka ki monitoring bhi rok denge. If your family wishes to file a case against Birlas, you may come to the station.

Akhilesh: Mai saath ata hoon.

Akhilesh left with them to receive Manish. Goenkas had tears of joy while Birlas' eyes was moist with guilt. The truth had left them shaken and destroyed their faith.

Truly, Nothing could have prepared them for this storm...

But it was just one truth and only the beginning.
