Only Bad Kids Get Boarding
"This isn't actually happening, right? It's all just a dream. A nightmare in fact!" Aaron slapped himself sharply across the face.
"Ow." He slapped himself again. "Ouch, owie." He raised his hand to slap again.
Mya caught his hand mid-air. "This is real..."
Asor sighed, "I guess we knew all knew this was going to happen one day."
Larry suddenly gasped. "What if we get separated?"
They all huddled together sobbing.
"I can't lose you guys!" Mya cried.
"And we can't lose you!" Larry answered.
The next day, their parents were contacted, signed papers, and they were sent off. They treasured their last day with each other.
"Promise to write?" Larry said with tears streaming down his face.
"Oh, who even does that anymore?" Asor laughed, half crying.
"Hey, on the best side we might have a couple of classes with each other," Mya said trying to remind everyone of the bright side.
"That's true..." Aaron agreed, wiping tears off his face.
It was Monday morning, they were driven to their new school. It was very different but similar to the middle school they were accustomed to.
"I guess this is goodbye..." Mya said
"No! Not goodbye, just see you later." Larry.
"More like see you never!" Aaron interjected, hands flying to cover his face.
"Guys, we've gotta be positive! Remember, we have English first period together!" Asor said.
"Oh, right!" Aaron blurted, brightening up.
They walked across the campus to the principal's office.
"Welcome, new students." the principal said somberly. There was a name tag that sat upon the desk that read, Principal Cheritz.
"Principal Cheezitz..." Aaron whispered wiggling his eyebrows.
Asor tried to stifle a laugh when he read the name tag.
"What is so funny, young man?" He asked oh so seriously.
"Nothing, sir," Asor said standing straighter.
"I hope you all received your schedules in the mail, and find your classes easily. Come to the office if you need any help or directions. Now be off and have a good day." He said finishing it with a crooked smile.
The crew was off to their first class. They were looking at their schedules when Mya realized one side of the campus was for girls and the other side for boys.
"Guys, I think we are going to be split up.."
"What? Why?" Asor asked urgently.
"Look.." She handed him the schedule.
"No.... This can't be happening!"
"Mya! You can't leave us!" Larry said.
Aaron clung to her ankle. "DON'T LEAVE!!"
"I'm sorry, guys. See you later.." She hugged them goodbye and went her own way.
Aaron, Asor, and Larry walked to their first period, Biology, and walked into the classroom.
Aaron, however, was stopped.
"Excuse me, young lady, you shouldn't be here. You should be on the other side of campus." The teacher told him.
"What? But I'm a guy-"
"Shh," He interjected, "No arguing, leave this class now."
"But, but that's where the girls are!"
"And that's where you belong! Now out of my classroom, young lady."
"It's because of my hair, isn't it? ISN'T IT?!" Aaron screamed.
Larry and Asor were chuckling their heads off in their seats. Aaron shot them a glare, but that only fed their laughter.
The teacher didn't dare to listen to another word, Aaron was trying to say. So he walked across campus, trudging all the way.
Larry looked at Asor and said. "Looks like we've lost another one, chief."
"Sadly, that's true." Asor agreed.
***
"Aaron!" Mya said happily. "Aaron, what are you doing here?"
"Oh you know, the usual, the teacher thought I was a girl since I have super long hair but whatever at least you're here with me!"
"Oh my gosh, that's... hilarious!" Mya said falling into a silent fit of giggles.
"Ugh, not you too!" Aaron groaned.
They all decided to meet at lunch to figure out a way out of this boarding prison.
It relieved Asor to be once again joined with his friends even if it was for a short moment.
"I missed you, dummies!" Mya said bringing everyone into a group hug, crushing them slightly.
"So what are we gonna do about our situation?" Larry asked, fixing his messy hair.
"Yeah! Do we get to burn anything...or one?" Aaron said evilly.
"Gosh no! Aaron! We're bad, but not THAT bad." Mya scolded.
They devised a plan to somehow escape the boarding school, so after school, when it was dark out. They grabbed all their luggage and snuck past the guards and met at the wall.
"Larry," Mya whispered, "Did you bring the hook from the roof?"
"Yee." He pulled it out of his duffel bag.
"Alright, I got the rope," Asor whispered.
They tied the rope to the hook and threw it to the top of the wall. When the hook was attached to the top. They decided to have a quick celebration.
"It ain't over yet, guys," Asor said. "Get a move on!"
They got over the wall without any hassle or trouble.
There was a sudden shout they heard from the other side.
"Hey, guys!" Aaron waved aggressively. "Were you guys going to leave without me. . . ?"
"Shoot... NO, OF COURSE NOT!" Asor said sarcastically.
"Here take the rope!" He threw over the rope again when someone caught it.
"Looks like we got some delinquents running away." A guard said sinisterly.
"You got that right." The guards launched over to open the gate and catch the kids.
Mya shouted, "RUN!!!"
"WE'LL COME BACK FOR YOU AARON!!" Larry said with his voice trailing off.
The guards were so busy, they forgot about Aaron. Aaron used this opportunity to update his snapchat. He titled it, #introubleagain.
Minutes later, the guards came back with the troublesome three.
"Mission failed, sergeant," Mya said dejectedly.
They were shoved to the principal's quarters where he yelled at them for a good 20 minutes.
"I can't believe you kids, tried to run off into the woods! You all are now forbidden from seeing each other. Too much trouble when you all are together. First, the science explosion, bribing the lunch lady, almost burning down the library, and now trying to escape."
He threw his hands up in the air utterly frustrated. The principal ordered the guards to bring them to their rooms.
Days went by and turned into weeks...that they didn't see each other.
If it wasn't for a miraculous moment, they would have lost hope completely.
Mya looked out the window, spiritless. Then she heard a loud noise, and the sound of a wall being ripped off.
Students flailed and screamed running for their dear lives.
It was Noreamac along with a couple of their classmates on a forklift, "Guys, get on!"
The crew couldn't believe their eyes. Noremac was coming to rescue them?
They stopped questioning it and hopped aboard.
The guards and campus police officers started chasing them, trying to catch the crew. Sydney the snitch, handed everyone a nerf gun, and let Asor take it from there.
"Shoot for your lives, soldiers!" He ordered, and everyone did.
A series of darts flew aimlessly around, causing the guards and officers to slip in their tracks letting the crew get away.
"Oh my gosh, are we actually escaping-" Mya said.
"Shhhh." Larry said shushing her, "Don't ruin this beautiful moment."
They rode off towards the sunset without a care in the world until the forklift started swerving towards a hill.
The forklift was becoming out of control, everyone had no choice but to jump off.
"I just have one question." Aaron verbalized, while he dusted himself off.
"What?" Noremac asked.
"How come you came to save us? Aren't you like our enemy? Isn't your job to hate us with every bone and vein in your body?"
"It got really boring without you turds around, so everyone and I decided we should formulate a rescue plan."
"Aww! He missed us!" Mya said.
"Shut up!" Noremac said slightly embarrassed.
"Don't worry, we totally 'hate' you too," Larry said with a wink.
