A month later:

It's been a month now since the incident happened. That incident still sends goosebumps to me today.

I haven't heard or seen neither of them now in the hospital.

Well that's a good luck sign for me then. Right!?.

Anyway.. But these days I have been slightly worried for Alyaan. I don't even know why am I even getting worried for him. He isn't anything to me apart from that he's just a patient who I have been assigned to check up on him.

But one thing that keeps pricking me is that has he got his partial or half of his memories back or no?.

Well even if he got his memories back then that's a good sign. If not then. Then don't know..!

Sighing slightly I looked up at the patient that was sitting there in front of me with a slight worry in his eyes.

I looked at the reports that were there in front of me.

Going thru them throughly I smiled a little at myself.

So Arham dear there's nothing to worry about. Your report seems fine to me. All you have to do is now just have the medicines on time and take vitamins too as I have prescribed them to you. You'll surely be fine then InShaAllah and make sure to not to burden yourself with any work as it's not good enough for you. You have just recovered from the injuries and have a bed rest as much as you can till you get healed completely.

I smiled at him and then he left.

Taking a deep breath in I rested my head on the head rest and closed my eyes.

Opening my eyes slowly I looked at the files that were there on my table.

I still had alot of patients to be checked up by me.

Sighing again I then asked the nurse to call in the next patient who was waiting for his/her turn.

After a great 3 hours of being passed I stood up from the chair and stretched myself.

Yaayy!!! Such a relief I can go home now.

I quickly picked up my things from the table and stuffed them in my bag. Grabbing my mobile I opened up my mobile and messaged my Khala that I'll be at home on time and she shouldn't get worried for me.

I was about to get up from my seat when someone knocked the door.

Rolling my eyes at this I took in a deep breath in to control myself from bursting out in anger.

I scanned thru my computer screen but didn't find any appointment. All the appointments have been done for today.

Well Lucy kindly tell that person whoever she/he is has to first book an appointment and then meet me. I cannot see him/her now. That person can come tomorrow if he/she wants too. I have to go now.

Fine Dr. Muskaan I'll tell her.

I nodded at her and she left.

I drummed my fingers on the table while waiting for that person to leave.

I didn't dare to look up as I was busy messaging my Aunt.

Keeping my mobile a side I looked up to see who it was.

Shocked to see it was the least I expected.

I just nodded at her and then started listening what she had to say.

I sat there shocked not understanding what to say. My throat had gone dry. I couldn't bring up words that I had to say.

And what could I have said too??.

Issi waja say beta ab mein chahti hoon keh aap yeh baat apnay tk rkho or Khamosh he rehna.

I wanted to ask alot of questions about the girl Mannat, the love life they had, and why did he leave her in the middle when he had loved her??. Why was he planning to run away with her??. Weren't their parents agreeing to their marriage??.

There were alot more if the questions that i wanted to ask but I remained silent.

After she left. I got up from my chair and went out of the room.

Going towards the lift I pressed the button and waited for few minutes. As soon as it came I entered in and pressed the ground floor button. I quickly took out my mobile and booked the Uber.

As the lift came to a halt I got out and walked quickly out of the hospital.

Opening my mobile I matched the plate number of the car and sat in the car.

Resting my head on the head rest I closed my eyes. Many questions swirled around my mind that I wanted to know.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I had reached my destination.

Taking out the fare I paid the driver and got out of the car.

Reaching the door of my house I unlocked the door and entered in closing the door behind my back.

Removing my shoes I straight away went towards my room.

Opening the door of my room I threw my things on the bed and quickly went towards the bathroom to get freshed up.

Coming out i then went downstairs.

I entered the living room and spotted my Khala reading a book. I smiled slightly and went behind the sofa to scare her.

Booooo!!!.

The look on her face was unbelievable. I couldn't control my laugh and started laughing out loudly.

Tum kbhi bhi nai sudhroo gi naa Muskaan. Dara kr rkh diya tumnay mujhai.

Sorrry Khala. Pr kya krti mujhai toh bohat maza aata hai apko dara kr.

Woh toh mein hoon meri pyaari khala.

I went and sat beside her.

Khaana laoon apni jaan keh liye.

Nai khala bhook nai hai mujhai.

Acha theik hai beta.

Remving the cushion from the khala's lap I kept my head on her lap.

Thuk gai hai meri guriya.

Umm.. Hmmm...

I felt her hands caressing my hairs.

I smiled mentally at this gesture.

I then felt my eyelids getting heavy and then in few minutes I dozed off in a deep slumber.
