''I should have prepared myself for this day. I am leaving.'' Khushi said and  turned to her room to pack her bags.

Arnav too followed Khushi to their room and took out a cigarette packet from the drawer which he hid from her. Arnav lit the cigarette not being affected by her presence, as the one he was doing all of this for was the one who made him feel like a worthless monster. Khushi on the other hand, stood numb in shock.  She blinked rapidly, Trying to erase the picture in front of her. The picture of Arnav smoking but to no avail as the truth remained just as it was, Arnav was indeed smoking.

Arnav looked up at her aghast face, and walked out of the room to the balcony adjoining it. Khushi come out from her shock state on hearing the door getting closed with bang. She followed him, too dazed to acknowledge anything. The image of Arnav smoking revolved in front of her.

"Arnav..what are you doing? Do you even realize you-.." Khushi said in high pitch voice.

Arnav turn and said, " I know what I'm doing. I have been smoking and drinking since long! I tried to lessen it, I did try to give up smoking dammit! "ONLY FOR YOU".  I tried to lessen it, just because I knew you didn't like it, you hated it and I wanted to stop. But..." He sigh and continue, "but nobody changes their habits for mi..mistresses right?" He turn back and said, "Just like nobody LOVE his mistress."

Khushi stood in front of him listening to him, Too shocked to react. Not being able to digest the fact that what she heard and saw was true.

"S..so..all this while you...and here see I'm such fool. No wonder I always end up being alone. Anyway Thanks for the telling the truth at last. I'm so sorry .I thought least you of all the people will understand me. But I was wrong. I guess my part in your life is over. Who keeps a KEEP forever. You are no different from them." Khushi said in broken voice.

"Always? All of you? What the hell you want to say?" Arnav turned to her shocked.

Khushi gritted her teeth, and replied "first my dad who use to beat my mom and me after drinking than in Ashram Payal jiji's husband who used to drink and misbehave with her after and now you too drink and smoke."

"All men are same" Khushi said crying bitterly.

Arnav sighed and tried to calm his nerves. He took a deep breath. Looking at cigarette that he held between his fingers and than her ,he threw the cigarette away and come closer to her and held her upper arms.

"Sh..khushi shant ho jao.." He whispered to her. (Sh.. Khushi calm down..)"

"Khushi why don't you understand? I was never so hurt as I am now. I love you Khushi. You are my life and I want to spend my whole life with you but you...you think...You are nothing but a mistress to me.. do u even know the meaning of that word?" He try to make her understand calmly but khushi jerked his hands and push him away & create distance between them.

"Don't touch me." She jerked his hand away and  started walking out in anger.

Arnav, having had enough, followed Khushi back into the room and grabbed her wrist, pulling her to face himself .

"Khushi, just stop it now. You started all this but I'm thankful to you for having told me that what kind of man I am. I am sorry... I dared to love you..I am extremely sorry for having made you my life.." Arnav started angrily, but ended up giving away his vulnerability Khushi.

But khushi, blinded by anger was in a totally different zone today so she grit her teeth and said, " well, go and smoke and drink too." She narrowed her eyes at him.

"The problem is you never told me the truth. Had you loved me then? Na, you could only love yourself. Ever you thought about me? No...a big no." She snapped at him, anger getting the best of her.

"Khushi.. Yes I love you all the way. Just because I hide smoking and drinking from you? You are questioning my love to you?" Arnav asked baffled.

"Who are you to ask for an explanation like this? You only think of yourself as my mistress don't you Khushi? And a mistress can't ask this? You don't dream with mistress, do you? You don't make her life..You don't have the instinct of going to any lengths just to see her smile and make her happy...you don't came to her every night...you don't care for her..." he stopped for second. " A mistress doesn't have any rights but you have all the rights over me.. Every single right over me. Because I am only yours ...when will you understand this?" Arnav asked shaking her.

Khushi is continually crying all the time. She can see in his eyes the love and trust which he have for her. She can see the honesty in his voice too but she can't able to think properly. She is just thinking about his habits of smoking and drinking, Her bitter experiences of the past aggravating the situation even more.

How could he do this to me? Why did he not tell me about such a big thing about himself?

She fell on her knees breaking  into fits of tears.

"Why Arnav? Why you broke my trust? Why you never told me about your bad habits ? Why? I love you all the way...I trust you with my heart , my soul and my body too. But why did you do this to me..? W..why?" She started hiccuping.

Arnav kneeled down to her and side hug her and rub her back to calm her down. His eyes moist too. She was shaking terribly in his arms.

"Sh..sh..pls stop crying khushi... I can't see you in tears..pls...stop crying." Arnav kissed her forehead and embraces her tight.

"I am sorry.. I know I should have told you everything beforehand when you said about your Father and your hatred for smoker but I was...was scared... Scared to loose you..to live without you..that's why I didn't tell you about my smoking." Arnav said desperately trying to reinstate her belief in himself.

Khushi look at his face while Arnav  still held her close to his heart, "So, will you leave this habits for me..? Can you do this for me?" She asked innocently like child who asking for candy.

Arnav chuckled looking her expression, "I was doing it only. Only for you!! I had almost stopped smoking and drinking. I didn't tell you because I feared you would leave me just you said once and I didn't want to lose you." He confessed.

"In fact last few months I already lessens to do smoking only for you. Sometime I feel like smoking when I was so much frustrated or executed. But I didn't smoke only because of you. But..today..today I did..because you hurt me so much with your words-.." Arnav cup her cheeks and said but khushi interrupted him.

" Than don't do this to me na. I won't leave you..but am scared of people who smoke and drink and you know that too.? So promise me you will never again smoke and drink." Khushi asked and Arnav nodded.

"I will promise but you too have to promise me that you won't leave me, you will never think being of my mistress.. You know I love you and respect you...did I ever force you to do anything?" Arnav asked and khushi nodded in no and hug him tightly.

Tears roll down from both of eyes and both held each other tightly like their life depends on each other and it was true too wasn't it?.

"I promise I will never leave you and never ever think again about myself being your mi...mistress." Khushi said breaking the hug.

"But please promise me that you will never smoke again. I can't hate you. But I am scared of that. Please understand I can't live without you. I want to live with you until my breath stop." Khushi said desperately.

"Sh...I will never leave you. Just like you in can't live without you too. You mean everything to me." Arnav hug her again.

"I too promise I will leave my bad habits forever. I will not smoke and drink again. But khushi it will take time. I already lessen it but still sometime I have to do smoke just like today when I was so angry, hurt and frustrated. Pls trust me I will leave this." Arnav said genuinely and khushi nodded with little hesitation. Arnav knew that it won't be easy for her to trust him when he already broke her trust once so he gave her time and said , "I know it's not easy for you..but believe me when I said I will leave this for forever. Just for you. Coz you are too precious too leave. And I can't lose a diamond for a mere stone. Can I?" Arnav asked and khushi chuckled at his example.

Both look at each other eyes deeply and saw love and trust and raw desire. Slowly Arnav  leaned to her took her lips in sole-searing kiss. Both kiss each other desperately lips to lips, tongue to tongue.  Arnav demanded an entry to mouth but khushi is not opening so he pinch her waist And khushi gasped. Taking the opportunity he devoured her mouth. He taste every corner of her mouth. Khushi let him do what he wants and encourage him Giving more access. She held his hair in tight fist in one hand and other hand busy massaging his neck. Its looks like eternity when they broke the kiss feeling out of breath. Both shared an intense eye lock.

"I love you Khushi. Please never ever think of leaving me." Arnav confessed and hug her tight.

"I love you too. I won't leave you ever. Than marry me na.."  Khushi gasped...and broke the hug. "I ...I..." but before she complete sentences Arnav  stood up and go passing by her but didn't said anything.

"What did I do? I didn't want to ask that. I don't want to force him anything which he not ready to accept." she self debated.

She called him back but he didn't turn back. Her hazel eyes started pouring.

Arnav go to the wardrobe and get something out of it. A small box and come back to her. She didn't look at him at all. She had no guts after proposing this.

"I'm sorry Arnav. I didn't want to ask that but its slip of my tongue. I promised myself that I will never force you into anything. Am sorry a while back I demanded something-" she continue her blabbering looking down at her lap. She gasp when something caught her attention.

While she asking sorry Arnav held her hands make her wear the gold bangles. And she gasped. Her eyes pop out and mouth left open.

"Arnav...what Is this?" Khushi asked.

"Bangles" Arnav said shrugging his shoulders.

"Arnav...I mean..ye.."

"I had kept these here till long for you to discover them but you never..This is my mother's bangles, who is not in this world anymore.." Arnav said kissing her knuckles.

"Arnav...umm..ye..am sorry.." Khushi started.

"Sh..Jaan..yesterday.. I understood you." Arnav beat her, stopping her blabbers.

"Huuh?? How..? Khushi asked shocked.

"You changed the subject, but you honestly think I will not understand this little gesture from you. We've been living together for so long. Yes I know sometimes I take long time to get you but yesterday when I saw how you reacted about maid's entry and neighbours talk I understood that what you feel. Yes I Don't believe in marriage and all but if you believe in it so I will respect your thoughts." Arnav said cupping her cheek, smiling at her with his eyes shining in love.

"Now tell me why don't you share with me all this crap going inside your pea sized brain. Tum ne kaise apne bare me aisa soch liya? Huuh? Do you think I'm a monster? Did I gave you any reason to think about you being my mistress? Do I ?" Arnav asked in stern voice taking her hand in his. (How dare you think so low of yourself?)

Khushi nodded no keeping her palm on his lips and stopped him further talking. Her eyes never stop shedding tears.

"I am sorry...i am very very sorry Arnav...you are not monster.. You are my prince charming.. My Raj Kumar...my friend... My family... My life... My breath... My everything..." saying she kissed his forehead. Arnav's eyes automatically shut feeling this affection.

"I know my one sorry is not enough but kya karti me jab har bar log mujhe us najar se dekhte the......jab bhi me kuch kam ke liye bahar jati thi vo log hamesha meri pith piche bura bhala bolte the...mere bare Me..hamare riste k bare me.. Me apne liye kuch bhi syn sakti hu par tumhare liye nai..apne is riste ke liye nai..I swear pehle  mene kabhi bhi unki bato pe, unpe dhyan nai diya..par..." she stopped and look at his eyes which hold so much pain and silently crying with her. (But what could I do l when people looked at me weirdly whenever I used to go out they used to talk shit about me behind my back about me about our relationship I can tolerate everything being sad about me but not about us not about our relationship I swear I never paid any heed to their words earlier but..)

Arnav feels stab in his heart hearing what she face behind his back.

"Par kya khushi?? Speak..!!" Arnav encourage her. (But.. what is it Khushi?)

"Par ek din society ke kuch ladko ne mere sath badtameezi ki.." Khushi saw him looking back at her, his eyes blazing red, raw anger reflecting in his chocolate brown orbs.

"What did they do Khush?" Arnav asked holding his breath.

"They.. they held my hand.. forcefully and said things.. They.. said they can pleasure me.. They.." Khushi couldn't complete her sentence as she felt disgusted even thinking back to that incident.

Arnav, on the other hand was shaking in boundless rage seeing which Khushi got Alarmed.

"Shh..Arnav relax...mene unhe muh tod jawab diya but uski bate mere dimag se Jane ka naam hi nahi le rahi thi...me insecure ho gai thi...ki kahi ek din tum muje chod ke chale jaonge to me kya karungi tunhare bina...koi ek din tumhara dil mujse bhar gaya to...I will die..me nai re sakti tumhare bina..isiliye mene maid ko rakhne k liye mana kia tha and socha ki me tumhe har tarah se khush rakhungi..fir chahe vo ghar ka kam karke...ya fir bad share karke...but I never ever thought about you monster... Pls believe me.." Khushi bared her heart to him. (I answered them to the best of my capability Arnav.. But their words weren't ready to leave my mind, I was insecure that if you will leave me one day, what will I do? What if you have had enough of me? I will die.. I can't live without you.. that's why I refused to keep a maid because I thought that I'll always keep you happy.. by doing all the housework or by loving you in our private moments)

Both crying in each others arms one with pain and insecure future & guilt and other with so much hurt that he can't see his partner going through.

"I will not spare them. How dare they ? How dare they keep bad eye on you.? Now they all see my wrath." Arnav vowed determined.

"No Arnav... I don't want anything apart from you. Please na." Khushi said suddenly getting all worked up.

"No..they have to face punishment for eyeing my girl. Unko sabak sikhana padega taki kal Jake kisi or ko na pareshan kare. And you will not stop me. That's it. Full and final." Arnav stop her with glare when she try to speak. And change the subject. (They'll have to be taught a lesson so that no one faces a problem later on)

"Do you like the bangles?" Arnav asked admiring her hands.

"Yes...but these are so precious... Um..how can I?" Khushi uttered unsure.

"Not more than you." Arnav stated and khushi blushed.

Arnav kiss her temple. Khushi hug him tightly and Arnav fell on the floor and khushi on top.

"You are my everything Arnav. I am complete with you..and again I am sorry for that bulshit I talked with you. You make me complete only." Khushi said still hugging him.

Arnav roll her under him and look at her intensely. She smile and blush.

"Now what if I say who is desperate??" Arnav smirk and kiss her eyes and nape. He bite her ear lobe and she moan.

"um..Arnav tell na...why this bangles?" Khushi push him and he rolled his eyes and sigh.

Arnav stand up pulling her up and hug her.

"You know you are dumb?" Arnav hit her forehead with his.

"Hawww!!" Khushi pout and hit him & push him.

"That's why you're taking advantage of me." Khushi said. Arnav chuckled and pull her again in hug.

"No, I Would never think of taking advantage of you."Arnav said kissing her cheek.. Khushi snuggled more into him.

"Achha, we did a huge fight so I want you to make up to me." Arnav suggested mischievously.

"How..?" Khushi asked confusingly breaking the hug.

"Umm...You and Me.." Arnav left the sentence seeing khushi's eyes pop out. And her breath hitching.

"You gutter mind." Arnav said chuckling and make her turn & hug her from back.

"Let's go out tonight." He said and kiss her nape.

"wh..where?" Khushi shudders at his ministration.

"I was thinking a romantic dinner and after that.." Arnav trailed of but Khushi interrupt breaking the hug and said, "So come on, let's get ready na." Arnav shake his head in disbelief seeing her so desperate and said, "okay..get ready."

After some time both get ready. Khushi wear simple red saree and left her hair open just how Arnav liked to see her and  as usual she is looking stunning and beautiful and Arnav looking hot in his black color three piece tuxedo.

They go for their date and have a lovely dinner and Arnav booked a room for them so after dinner they go up to the room. But Arnav is faking his anger from home coz seeing her in his favorite color he wants to ravish her there n then but khushi being Khushi don't give up easily so whenever he wants to go cozy with her she denied and turn her face other side or change topic. So after reaching the room he directly go to the bed and sleep saying gnsd.

Khushi's mouth turned perfect 3'o shape seeing him sleeping. She know he is angry with her behavior but she is kkg after all so she planned already how to pacify him. When they left the home she packed other dress without his notice which he gift her. But she never gets chance to wear it and she know that Arnav wants to see her in this dress but its so revealing and short.That's why she never wore it. But today she thought to wear it for him. She already told hotel staff to brought her dress from car and arranged it in their room. She left the bathroom without making any noise.

Arnav open his eyes not hearing her voice to pacify him. He know she will call after him but to his knowledge she is nowhere to seen. He set hurriedly and look here and there to find her but she is not there. He first panicked not seeing her but after hearing shower voice from bathroom he relaxed.

"Here I am angry and madam is taking bath." He muttered to himself.

Listening knob sound he went to his previous position sleeping and close his eyes.

Khushi come out from bathroom wearing beautiful off shoulder knee length black dress.

She go near him and see him sleeping. She felt disappointment but saw his eyeball rolling. She chuckled inwardly.

"Arnav.." She husked in his ear bending little to him.

But no response from him side.

"Arnav...wake up baby.." She tried again kissing corner of his mouth and finally he open his eyes.

He set hurriedly. He left speechless seeing her sexy attire. His mouth went dry.

"Khushi...ye..."

"Hmm.."

"This dress...You... Why did you wear this?" Arnav asked dazed.

"What the..!!" Khushi exclaimed.

"So you mean to say I have not to wear this? So why did you gift this to me? Do I am not looking good?" She asked in one breath looking at her dress.

But Arnav is still in shock period and not getting any reply from him she said, "I think I should change this." And she turn to go to change with sad expression. She thought she will pacify him with this but her plan flopped.

Arnav came out his dreamland seeing her sad expression and mentaly slap himself. He step out of the bed and hug her from behind. After second he turn her to face him. He cupped her face and kiss her temple.

"You looking breathtaking beautiful."

"So why did you-??" She asked.

"Actually I want to see you in this dress today only but I know how shy you when I ask you to wear something like this, so I don't want to force you for something which you don't like. But when I saw you in this dress I can't believe my eyes and I spoke that stupid stuff." Arnav explained and she chuckled at last.

"Yes Arnav I 'm shy to wear this dress coz I never wore like this before. Yes I was wearing many of indo western or western dress but this is too short for me to wear but I want to do it today. Only for you." She said cupping his cheeks.

"Jaan, you don't have to if you are not comfortable."

"Sh..I'm more than comfortable when its related to you. So relax and chillax." She wink at him and he hug her tight. He buried his face in her hair in inhale the fragrance. He bite her earlobe and khushi moaned. Than he kiss her exposed soldiers and bit her collar bone causing her to gasp in pain, Arnav soothed her pain by sucking the spot.

"Ar..Arnav.." Khushi shuddered clutching his shirt tight in her fist with his ministration.

"Oh, Love.." Arnav uttered.

"Come,.." Arnav said breaking the hug.

"Where? Arnav I don't won't go out like this please. I'm comfortable with you but outside...so many people will have ...I don't want to.." she spoke hurriedly.

"Hush...love, relax. No one will see you. I won't let anyone to see you in this." He said possessively.

"But bahar..(outside)"

"I booked the whole floor so relax no one is here apart from us. Now let's go." saying this he take her in his arms and went to the end of the floor. He switch on lights. She gasp seeing the room.

It's an inside garden with fairy lights,water fountain, open pull. She is busy in admiring the decors and all with smile. She looked up, only to fall into a trance on finding an exact replica of the night sky shining on the ceiling, A million stars shining atop their heads.

Khushi was  busy in admiring all the arrangements with an awestruck expression. But Arnav's voice broke her session.

"Khushi , I want to ask you something." he said in serious expression.

Khushi look at him and asked "what?"

Arnav bend down on his knee and take something out from his pocket & take her hand in his.

"Arnav what are you-?"

"Will you marry me?" He asked with bated breath.

He know the answer  already but he know how much khushi love all this cheesy stuff but he is ASR so he has to maintain his aura so he asked in a sweet and simple way straight to the point.

All the time khushi silently crying. She is so emotional after seeing his Sweet & Simple gesture. She nodded yes. Arnav slid down the ring in her finger. Khushi went to her knees and hug him tight. Its starts showering roses on them.

"I love you, khushi. I really do. And I don't want to you think anything bad of you. You wants to turn this relationship into marriage. I don't mind. But never...I mean never ever think Accidentally calling yourself as my mis.." Arnav said but khushi put  her palm on his Lips and nodded in no.

"I love you so much. You are my everything. I will love you so much as no one has loved anyone." she said softly hugging him tightly Arnav buried his face in her neck. She break the hug and kiss his face everywhere and look at ring smilingly.

"It's beautiful." She said kissing the ring. Arnav too kiss the same spot where she kissed. She blush and turn around.

Arnav pick her up and take her to pull area. He set her down edge of the pull and he sit beside her.She lean on him keeping her head on his soldier and left arm around his waist while his right hand around her back holding her arms. Both feet in water.

They set in silence. After sometime khushi broke the silence and said, " I love you, Arnav."

Arnav smile and kiss her forehead."I love you too, Khush."

Arnav take her hands in his, "Now you have my ring and mom's kangans so you are her daughter-in-law from this moment already."

Khushi pout and tried to speak but Arnav beat her to that, "And about my wife..you know i didn't believe in marriage or neither do I believe today but i respect your decision, your beliefs. That's why i will marry you. Mein nahi chaahta humaare rishte mein, hum dono mein se kisi ka bhi haq kam yaa zyaada ho, Nahi chaahta ki kisi ke bhi dill mein koi KHALISH  reh jaaye." (I don't want anyone of us to have less rights on the other, I don't want anyone of us to feel that we're getting into something we don't want to be a part of.)

"You're so good. And here i'm blaming you for...you did so much for me. How will i repay you for all this?" Khushi asked sadly.

Arnav hit his forehead with her and sigh. "Khushi, you love me. Isn't it enough for me? And who says you do nothing for me?" khushi look at him confused.

"You wake up before me everyday. Do house chaos. Prepare my bath. Clean all the mess in house, set my things in order , prepare my breakfast, lunch and dinner, you do house shopping , work in kitchen and wash my clothes, always look after my needs and most importantly you keep me happy with your lovely talks and your care & love, always wait for me however late i am, and at night you fulfill my needs, desire." Arnav said cupping her face. "I can't ever repay you for this. All my life won't be enough for what you did for me until now.

khushi was crying listening his heartily confession.

"You work for us both, and what i do is nothing infront of what you've done for me. You have accepted an orphan like me and have loved me like no one could love anyone.'' khushi said softly, unshed tears of gratitude shining in her eyes

Arnav kiss her forehead and make her lie down with him. Her head on his hand and both feets in pull.

"Khushi , I too am an orphan but now we have each other." Arnav said and khushi nodded hugging him.

"Khushi..." Arnav spoke after sometime.

"Hmm.." khushi mused.

"If ever anything happens to me, then you need to know the apartment is on your name. And remember I made you sign some papers once, they were not any papers. You are AR's 49% partner. And if everything happens to me, according to the contract clause you will be AR's owner.'' Arnav said holding his breath.

Khushi look at him shocked and push him angrily & stand up to leave. Arnav to get up and called her but she not turn back and follow her above floor. She reach their room all the while crying. After reaching room she set on bad and cry more. Arnav also reached the room and saw her crying bitterly. Khushi see him behind her so she get up & go to balcony but arnav hold her hands. Khushi push him and climb the grill. Arnav gasp and try to take her down but khushi stop him angrily.

"No..don't come near me.'' she said angrily. "Don't stop me. And if I die today, then do anything you wish with my body. make love to me then and ..'' she hiccuped.

Arnav pull her down in anger. "You crazy...do you know what are you saying?"

"Yeah..wahi jo tumne kaha..taste your own medicine. How can you say that to me like that?'' Khushi asked angrily. (The things you had said a while ago)

Arnav sigh and look at her holding his both ears, "Sorry."

"Never ever say that again. I can't live without you. Arnav nahi to khushi bhi nahi." Khushi threatened him showing her finger. Arnav nodded and hug her tightly saying sorry again and again.Khushi hug him back. Arnav broke the hug and said "let's go inside."

"So I ran from there until here, and you won't carry me this much too?" khushi said pouting to light the situation. Arnav chuckled and carry her in his arms & kiss her forehead. Khushi hold him tight and kiss his cheek and buried her head in his neck. Arnav took her to room and lay her down on bed. He stare at her intensely.

"You look hot and sexy in this dress." Arnav husked and khushi blushed.

Arnav switched on the night lights causing the room flood with golden light, Khushi smiled seeing the change in lights. Arnav kissed her forehead in a trance and made her lie on the bed and started to hover above her, starting with her parting, Arnav began dropping kisses on the whole of her face, making her squirm and moan in pleasure. He had just reached the corner of her lips when, for reason unknown he decided to have a good look at her face. The scene that met his eyes made his heart to soar in happiness, She opened her eyes, still under the spell that Arnav had cast upon her, looking dazed as ever. Not being able to stop himself, Arnav attacked her lips taking them into a passionate kiss, commemorating the passions that were to follow.

Both are exhausted with their love session and Arnav tell her something and after hearing him khushi's eyes pop out and mouth went dry.

"What??" khushi asked shocked. Arnav nodded his head in yes hold her close to him and sleep took over him but khushi is wide awake after getting biggest shock.
