Anuradha and Maya reached the hospital and saw Raghav's friend, Aditya, crying his eyes out. Aditya started apologising to them.

"It's not your fault, beta." Anuradha said.

Maya and Anuradha sat on the chairs near ICU where Maya was crying in the embrace of Anuradha.

Anirudh came bursting in the room where Anuradha and Maya were sitting. He went towards Aditya first and asked him how the mishap happened. Then he went towards his sister and ex wife, who were looking absolutely devastated.

Anirudh saw how his sister's eyes were red but she was holding herself together for Maya, who was crying and holding Anuradha for her dear life.

Anirudh sat down next to Maya and put his hand on her shoulder. Maya shrugged him off and continued crying. He tried again but Maya shrugged him off once again.

"Galti meri hai. Kaash maine Raghav ki custody tumhe nahi di hoti. Kaash main Anu ko apne paas hi bula leti Raghav ki care karne ke liye." Maya said, sobbing.

"Tumhe kya lagta hai? Yeh jo sab hua, meri wajah se hua?" Anirudh asked in disbelief.

"Woh bechara baccha itne pressure me tha, tumhe dikhaayi nahi diya. He tried to commit suicide." Maya said, hugging Anuradha tightly.

"Mujhe kaise pata chalega, Maya? Ki woh itna bada step uthalega?" Anirudh asked.

Maya let out a sarcastic laugh and pulled away from Anuradha.

"Tumhe pata hi kya hai, Anni? Apne meetings aur apne kaam ke alawa, na tumne mujhe samajhne ki koshish ki, na apne bete ko aur na apni behen ko." Maya said, increasing her voice.

"Please, chup ho jaao, yaar. Sab sun rahe  hai. Please, chup ho jaao." Anirudh begged.

"Toh sunne do. Unhe bhi pata hona chahiye kitne irresponsible father ho tum. Tumhari wajah se mera beta-" 

"STOP IT." Anirudh shouted.

"Our son is not dead." Anirudh said, sternly.

Anirudh saw his sister sitting there silently. She was sitting there unbothered about the arguement between Anirudh and Maya. Maya hugged Anuradha again and Anuradha tightened the grip around Maya. They saw Raghav coming out of operation theatre lying on a gurney. All three of them stood up and rushed towards Raghav. 

Anuradha and Maya covered their mouth in horror and Anirudh watched his son helplessly. Raghav face was swollen and slightly disfigured. 

"Excuse me. Please come with me." Dr. S. K Kasbekar said.

Anirudh, Maya and Anuradha went into the doctor's chamber.

"Main aap logo ko jhooti tasalli nahi dunga. Aapke bete ko brain me severe injury hui hai. Multiple organs bhi damaged hai. Filhal, toh humne surgery karke internal bleeding to rok diya hai aur brain se clots bhi nikal liye hai. But that's not all." Dr. S.K. Kasbekar continued.

"Excuse me." Anuradha excused herself and went out of Doctor's office. She couldn't bear to listen anymore. She quietly sat outside of Raghav's room and waited for Anirudh and Maya to come out of Doctor's room.
