A few hours later In the sumeru dessert the Khaenri'ah Archon was walking around with dessert thinking about what happened and waiting until he saw hilichurls dead in the sand.

It saddened him knowing who they once were. But then saw one alive sleeping and very weak and quickly went over and used his limited power to heal him a little but it was too late.

As he sat down with them making sure they were okay he started talking to them trying to soothe them as they were dying.

Khaenri'ah Archon : I know it hurts but you will be okay. Just rest.... you'll be home soon....."

As they passed he just felt more pain for what happened to his nation.

Then suddenly a portal opened and Lumine walked out with two abyss Harald's.

Khaenri'ah Archon : Lumine.....I figured I'll eventually meet the princess of the abyss."

Lumine: you want the same as me"

Khaenri'ah Archon : I do not want more pain and destruction. To have lives be in pain that didn't cause us pain."

As the Khaenri'ah Archon stood up suddenly everyone showed up and the abyss Harald's got defensive.

Diluc didn't look pleased but the Khaenri'ah Archon walked over and said.

Khaenri'ah Archon cover diluc's eyes with his hand and said smiling.

Khaenri'ah Archon : how about n- ow!?"

Khaenri'ah Archon immediately took back as Diluc bit his finger.

Later as the Khaenri'ah Archon was alone while some were talking or sleeping suddenly Zhongil showed up.

Zhongil : do not run away......please....."

He was facing away from Zhongil not wanting to look at him but wanted to know zhongil's reasons.

Khaenri'ah Archon : why......I want to know why you owe me that"

Zhongil then proceeded to tell him everything he told everyone and even more. And despite remaining professional and unfazed. His voice sounded desperate and worried.

The Khaenri'ah Archon attacked Zhongil nearly hitting him if Zhongil did move out of the way. But then they kept trying to fight Zhongil seeming pissed off.

And Zhongil wasn't fighting back only dodging and trying to block the Khaenri'ah Archon's attacks.

But as they were fighting up Zhongil got hit and knocked to the ground and pinned to the ground as the Khaenri'ah stood above him pointing his sword at his neck. Looking down at Zhongil with nothing but pain and anger. His eyes showing no emotion.

But Zhongil just smiled at him and said.

Zhongil : ......you look as beautiful as the day I lost you....."
