★ Chapter 8 | Piece of My Heart ★

"Lu-chan!"

"Yamete Levy-chan!"

Six year old Levy McGarden and Lucy Heartfilia were playing on their school's playground. It was the last day of being pre-schoolers and the next school year they will become first graders in their elementary. Their pre-school were having a Graduation Ceremony to award the pupils by giving them certificates and medals to those who were good in academic, behaviours and performance.

"Lucy!"

"Levy!"

"Time to go home now!" Both of Levy's and Lucy's mothers said.

"Hai~!" Levy and Lucy said as they go to their mothers and then they faced each other.

"So Lu-chan, let's be together in elementary school okay?!" Levy said cheerfully.

"Hai!"

"Promise me?" Levy said as she shows her pinky finger.

"Promise!" Lucy said and they pinky swear.

Levy flinched as she remembered that piece of memory. "Levy-chan..." Lucy said quietly.

"Minna-san the show is gonna start in one hour! Please get yourselves ready!" A crew member said to them as he passed by.

"Hai." They all answered. Levy walked away from the three of them. Lucy... I won't forgive you! She thought angrily.

Levy... I'm really sorry! Lucy bowed her head, her face in shadows. "Lucy?" Juvia asked her with concern.

"I think it's better for us to go in the dressing room for us to get ready." Erza said as she pushes Lucy from her back, going to where their dressing room is.

What's with Levy-san and Lucy anyway? They look like enemies. Juvia thought.

As what I can see, I think Lucy and Levy may be friends from the past, demo I think something came up between them... Erza thought.

♪ ♫ ~♪ ♫ ~♪ ♫ ~

"Lucy can you atleast tell us what is with you and Levy-san?" Juvia said at the time when they were backstage waiting for their signal to come on stage. Lucy didn't utter a word.

"Royal Queens, when I raise up my hand you all enter the stage okay?"

"Yes sir." Erza said and when he was gone she turned to Lucy. "Lucy remember you're gonna be on a show, me and Juvia still don't know what happened to you and Levy, but you need to keep up your act during the show when she interviews you."

Juvia nodded. "If anything happens, we'll back you up."

Lucy finally sighed and faced them. "Arigato. It takes time for me to speak up ne? Sorry for making you all worry." Erza and Juvia smiled.

"RQG!" The man raises his hand to them as a cue for them to enter the stage.

"Let us all welcome! The Royal Queens♕!" Levy said as Juvia went first waving with her two hands, then Erza waving with her left hand and the last is Lucy waving with her right hand. The fans were cheering for them in the audience sit and they sit on the couch facing the audience, a table is in front of them while Levy is on their left side sitting on a couch that is only for one person.

"Welcome to Friday Night Live with the Stars! Minna-san can introduce yourselves?"

Juvia went first. "Hello minna-san! I am Juvia Lockser, the youngest member of the group, vocalist and the main dancer."

"Hello minna-san, I am Erza Scarlet, the oldest one of the group, vocalist, dancer and I'm the 'Face of the Group'."

"Hello minna-san~ I am Lucy Heartfilia, the second oldest, I'm the main vocalist, dancer and I'm the leader of Royal Queens♔! , RQ for short."

"Oh Lucy-san so you're the leader of Royal Queens♕! So why you three did named it Royal Queens♕? I heard that before your very own debut as a group you were running on the streets going to the Big Domes!"

Lucy moves her hand closer to her mouth, holding a microphone so that everyone can hear what she will say. "We decided to call our group Royal Queens♔ because me, Juvia and Erza have 'Queen' on our title. Everyone calls me The Princess, the other one is Queen of The Goddesses."

"Oh soka. How about you Erza-san? Juvia-san?"

"Everyone calls me The Titania or the Queen of the Fairies." Erza spoke using her microphone.

"They call me The Mermaid or the Queen of the Sea." Juvia said using her microphone.

"Oh I see now whey they called you that, it really fits you all. Well except for Lucy-san." Levy smirked looking at her. "It's a joke of course! Haha!" She said and the audience were dead silent.

Levy-chan... She tried to hide her expression by laughing softly. "Ne you're so funny Levy-san!" Lucy said faking. But to be honest, it hurts me a lot Levy-chan.

Erza and Juvia were surprised by Lucy's reaction. Hold still Lucy! It only has been five minutes and we still have to be like this for the next ten minutes! Erza thought.

"Yes we were trending worldwide on Twitter on the day of our debut! Many fans were running after us as soon as they saw us." Juvia said changing the topic. I am your backup Lucy!

"And you became instantly famous! Because before you three became a group, you three were one of the most popular artists around Korea and in worldwide!" Levy said.

"Yes, we never expected that we will become like this." Erza said.

Levy turned to Lucy. "Lucy-san, as the leader, what will you do in order to maintain your group's popularity?"

"Well I will be responsible, we will create a stronger bond with each other and we will do our best." Lucy answered.

"Are you sure you can do it? Maybe one day you will even betray them!" Levy laughs and Lucy laughed as well. Erza and Juvia became alert.

"Of course I won't do that Levy-san." Lucy said.

"Of course Lucy won't do that to us, Levy-san." Juvia said.

"She's our leader, our nakama and we trusted her. I believe that she will lead us to a path where we will become the light." Erza said.

Tch. Nakama eh? Such word that never exists nowadays! Everyone in the world of music is your rival! You can never trust someone as long as you're a celebrity. Levy thought. "Ne, ne, I was only joking and looks like you two were serious! Okay moving on, I also heard about your fan club, they were called HeartScarLock." Levy said smiling. "And that fan club is right over there!" Levy said pointing to where the fan club is and they started screaming. Two other hosts went up to them. "It's up to you know Jet! Droy!" Levy said.

"Arigato Levy." They said in unison as they already pick one fan of the HeartScarLock Club. "This is Jet!" Jet said. "And this is Droy." Droy said.

"We're here now with a fan of Royal Queens♕ to ask one question to them." Jet said.

"So miss, what is one thing that you wanted to ask RQ?" Droy asked and then gives her the microphone to speak.

"Annyeonghaseyo Erza-san! Lucy-san! And Juvia-san! I wanted to ask you if when will be your first music video will be out?" Droy gets his microphone back.

"Okay! RQ will answer that after the commercial break, thank you." Droy and the girl bowed to each other. "Friday Night Live with the Stars will be back shortly!" Jet and Droy said. Lucy, Juvia and Erza started discussing. Levy got up from her chair and went backstage. After the break they went back to their positions.

"We're back! Now RQ can you answer the question please?" Jet said.

Lucy nodded. "Our first music video will be out in a month! We won't tell any information about it yet until we will release the trailer of the music video."

"Thank you Lucy-san, we still have two questions for RQ." Jet and Droy split up and started to search around the audience until they decided on who's going to ask them.

"I wanted to know why they did form a unit." A girl said.

"I wanted to ask a personal question... Etto..." Another girl said and blushed. "A personal question for Lucy-san..." Lucy blinked at her. "It's just... What is your connection with Natsu Dragneel-san?" Lucy blushed.

"Thank you for the questions. Now it's the time for Royal Queens♕ to answer it!" Droy said. "Back to you Levy ~" Jet and Droy said. Levy ~ They both thought with a feeling of admiration for her. She nodded.

"On the second question, we formed a unit because we want to share our music together around the world." Erza answered. I can't tell the real reason why we were formed into a group! It's a secret between us the singers, the managers, the crew, the staff and Master Makarov of FT Entertainment.

"On the third question, about my connection to Natsu Dragneel ... He's my ..." She thought for a moment. Juvia and Erza looked at her worriedly.

Say that he's your friend! Juvia thought.

Say that's he's your enemy! Erza thought.

"He's my ... Rival." Then she smiles. "Yet an acquaintance at the same time."

"I see." Levy said and turned to where the cameraman and the crew are, they were signalling Levy for RQ to perform on stage. "Ah~! It's now the time for Royal Queens to perform!" Levy said gesturing one hand to them and the other hand was holding a microphone.

They stood up and they went to the right side of the stage where the singer/s performs when they guest in this show. They needed to sing one song when they are the guests of Friday Night Live. One week after their own debut, they have their first mini album released. Juvia positioned on the right, Erza on the center and Lucy on the left. The lights dimmed. Lucy started singing the first lyrics of their debut song EVERY HEART.

*A single spotlight appeared on Lucy *

*Three spotlights on them*

[ALL] meguru meguru toki no naka de

[Erza] donna egao ni deaetara
Every Heart yume ni fumidaseru no

[Lucy] hito wa kanashimi no mukou ni

[Juvia] Every Heart shiawase ukabete nemuru

[Lucy] itsuka itsuka subete no tamashii ga
yasuraka ni nareru you ni

[ALL] meguru meguru toki no naka de
bokutachi wa ikite nanika wo shiru
toki ni warai sukoshi naite
kyou mo mata aruki tsudzukete yuku

[Juvia] osanai kioku no katasumi ni
atataka na basho ga aru so sweet

[Lucy] itsumo kagayaiteita so shine

*APPLAUSE*

The lights were on again and the whole room can see each other's faces. Lucy, Erza and Juvia held each other's hands and bowed. Levy went to them. "And that's for today's show! With the Royal Queens♕!"

"Friday Night Live with the Stars!" All said. Levy and the three of them waves to the camera and the audiences. When they stopped shooting, Levy went backstage with the three girls following her.

"Levy, we'll take your picture with RQ, if you may." The producer of the show, Alzack Connell said. Levy obeyed him and Levy took a picture on the four of them. "Good. I need to post this on the internet now."

"I need to take my leave now, Alzack and RQ." Levy said with a stern face and started to walk away from them.

Erza and Juvia looked at Lucy. "We need to go as well." She said.

"RQ, thank you for coming to our show tonight." Alzack said as he sahke hands with Lucy, then Erza and Juvia.

"Thank you for inviting us." They bowed. Maybe this isn't yet the time for us, Levy-chan. Lucy thought.

♪♫ ~♪♫ ~♪♫ ~

"A rival yet an acquaintance... That's what you think of me, Lucy Heartfilia?" Natsu asked as he watches Friday Night Live in his own house. He smirks. "I'll change it."

"Meow." His pet Happy was sitting beside him. He petted his head. "Don't worry about me, Happy; I can handle things on my own."
