★ Chapter 2 | You Always Know [REVISED] ★

I was wondering a few hours ago about the meeting... But I never expected that it will turn out like this! Erza thought.

I’m Erza Scarlet, 21 years old, a solo artist ever since I got popular. But in 5 years, right now, Master Makarov is telling us that I, together with Lucy Heartfilia and Juvia Lockser, will be together as a group! I mean who the hell wants that to happen? We’re not friends; we’re rivals because of music. And here I am right now in the conference room together with them, our managers and with Master.

“Master Makarov, but pardon me, I decline!” Erza stated.

“We just wanted to be a solo artist.” Juvia added.

“How did you come up with this?” Lucy asked.

Master coughed. “Listen to me. I and your managers already planned this for a year. We decided this because we’ve been observing something.”

“We all wanted to form you as a group because we need to. Think about this Lucy, Erza and Juvia.” Evergreen Strauss said.

“You three, are popular. Many fans loved you three and they were having a fan war between you three on who’s the best.” Kagura Mikazuchi said.

“You three must show that you are friends, not rivals. So we come up with a decision with you three as a group.” Ultear Milkovich said.

“But still-” Lucy said.

“I’m giving you girls three days to decide.” Master sighed and the three managers’ eyes widened.

“But Master!” Evergreen said in exaggeration. Kagura crossed her arms and shook her head in disapproval; while Ultear was nodding understood that Makarov was up to something.

“You three are dismissed but managers, please stay.”

“Hai. Arigato.” The three said and went out.

“Why did you do that Master? You must know that we’ve planned this for a whole year, kept it as a secret and now-“ Kagura didn’t finished because Makarov flinched.

“Be quiet Kagura!” He said in frustration as he bowed his head down and massaging his forehead. Kagura gulped and kept her mouth shut. “Zeref is planning to do something with our company. And we must be prepared at all cost, but first we must teach our other members on hope, trust, acceptance…”

“Friendship.” Ultear said.

“Faith.” Kagura said.

“And love.” Evergreen said.

“People nowadays are arrogant and selfish. And we must be the ones starting in changing it.” Makarov said. “I have plans for Heartfilia, Scarlet and Lockser for the next three days starting tomorrow.” Makarov smirked.

“Uhhmm Erza-san, you’re not going with us?” Juvia asked as the three of them were walking down the lobby.

“Why would I go with you two? Tch.” Erza hissed. Juvia looked disappointed.

“Erza, Juvia was being nice with you.” Lucy scolded.

“Tch. I don’t care if she’s being nice, what I know is that I’m not going to be friends with her…” Erza said.

“Gommenasai.” Juvia bowed to Erza.

“Juvia, you have no right to say sorry to her.” Lucy looked at Erza and then smiled at Juvia. “I can be your friend.” Juvia gasped and Erza gasped quietly.

Lucy giggled. “Come on let’s go, I’ll treat you an ice cream at Icy-pots.” She patted Juvia’s back and they walked out of the building.

Friends ehhh? Erza wondered. I haven’t had a friend for a while except for Kagura. But one is already enough right? One of my friends didn’t remember me already… Erza’s expression became sad. But by looking at Juvia and Lucy… She gets her sunglasses and puts it on. They are really something. She thought and walks out of the building.

Juvia and Lucy laughed at their own jokes. They were at Icy-pots sitting on a table together, chatting, getting to know each other and they were enjoying.

“I haven’t had an ice cream for like a year!” Juvia said.

Lucy giggled. “Me too! I ate ice cream like once or twice a year! You know that cold is isn’t good for our throats.” They giggled and then suddenly their phones rang. “Hello?” They both said.

“Lucy where are you? I have a song for you to practice. Go to the studio now.” Evergreen said.

“Juvia darling, come at your house this instant.” Ultear said.

“Yes, we’ll be there.” The girls both said and ended their calls, they both sighed.

“Well we better get going now.” Juvia said as she puts her hat on.

“Right. I’ll just text you Juvia if I’m not busy tomorrow.” Lucy said as she puts on her sunglasses. The two both walked out of the store and waved good bye to each other.

As Juvia continued to walk by, a guy bumped into her who was running fast. “Ouch!” Juvia whined as she touched her head where it get hurt and step back a little from the stranger in front of her.

The guy’s hat fell on the ground in between his and Juvia’s feet. Many people attracted their attention and the stranger gasped. People started to whisper to each other. Juvia knelt down to get the hat the same as the stranger, they both put their hand to the hat but Juvia’s hand was first. The stranger’s hand was at the top of Juvia’s own hand.

They both looked at each other and their faces met, their eyes have made a contact for a moment. Juvia gasped. He’s handsome! Flawless skin, raven haired, his eyes looking cold but there is kindness inside.

Their hands separated and the stranger gets his hat, hurriedly put it on, bowed his head down and quickly ran and said. “I’m sorry miss!”

But Juvia stopped him by calling him from a distance. “What is your name?”

The stranger turned and smirked. “Lyon Vastia!” He said and ran away.

Lyon Vastia? Juvia thought.

Lucy sighed as she walked out of the building. She decided to go out to the park for a while to clear her thoughts. She just finished recording for her new song, This Place and tomorrow she has to be early at FT Entertainment that something that Makarov planned that she didn’t even knew.

She arrived at the park and watched people who were around it, children, teenagers, couples, families were surrounding her. I wonder what happens now if mom, dad and grandma are still alive. She leaned on the handle while watching the sun rising down. I wished I could find someone that I will love forever.

She sighed. Just then someone hugged her from behind. “Lucy!” A cheerful voice said. Lucy already knew who it was. She turned to look who it was and her face beamed. “Sting!” She hugged her in his neck.

“We’ve missed you!” Sting said.

“I missed all of you too! How are aunt and uncle doing?”

“They’re just fine, business is going well.”

Sting patted her head and chuckled. “What are you doing out here?”

She lets go of Sting. “Uhmmm watching the sunset?” She laughed.

Sting stood by her side. “I can see that. But you must have someone with you. You’re famous you know and you might not know what harm will get in your way.”

“Aww~ Sting-kun is concerned of me!” Lucy said and pinched his cheeks.

“Stop it Lucy.” He laughed and she stopped.

She faced the sunset and Sting was facing the opposite direction. “What’s the matter Lucy? I know you’ve got something on your mind? I know, I know, you’re reading perverted books.” He said in the last part in a teasing tone.

Lucy looked annoyed at him. “No I’m not!” She punched his arm. “It’s just… *SIGHED* It’s about the group that Master decided to form us… I, we just don’t accepted it that’s all.”

“Why?”

“It’s maybe that Erza hates me because of her and her ex boyfriend Gray, that people thought that we were together. And Juvia wants to be on solo. While me, well I don’t know if what’s for the best.  So what do you think about it Sting?”

Sting stayed silent for a moment. “I think you needed to know yourselves first before judging and before going to a conclusion.”

Lucy smiled at him. “You always know what to say, thanks for treating me like a sister, Sting.”

He grinned. “Not a problem at all!” He then bows. “Why don’t you go with us for dinner milady?” He said formally as he gestured out his hand to her and Lucy chuckled.

“I would like too.” She accepted it and they went to the Eucliffe residence.
