★  Chapter 1 | Lucy Heartfilia ★ 

“Awww she’s so kawaii~” A woman said who was 7 months pregnant. She was together with her husband. Layla smiled at her friend.

“She’s lovely Layla, just like my daughter.” A woman said while carrying her 2 year old daughter.

“Thank you everyone!” Layla and Jude said. Now wondering what’s happening in here right? It’s because the Heartfilia family invited some of their friend to celebrate their new born daughter, Lucy Heartfilia.

“Jude!” A man with a spiky red hair came to his friend, together with his wife. His wife was carrying a five month-old baby boy. “Sorry we’re late!”

Jude shook his head “No you’re not. You’re just time for dinner.”

“Please come this way everyone!” Layla guided them to the dining hall and they continue to talk in there.

“Layla Starlock has retired!” The news said. “And no one has ever seen her again. The company that she had worked doesn’t know where she is now and they have been searching for her. They didn’t know what happened to her and they want her back, so that she can continue on her career.”

“The famous actress Elizabeth Willows is nowhere to be found just like the famous singer Layla Starlock! Could it be? They know each other where they are?”

“Jennifer Locket is now married. She has been retired. Her manager said not to tell everyone who she is married to. Everyone respected her decision and they don’t want to bother her anymore.”

After 3 years...

“Do~ re~ mi~ fa~ so~ la~ ti~ do~” Layla sang as she began to teach her daughter to sing.

“Do- re- mi- fa- so- la- ti- do-” Lucy’s voice isn’t still improving. Layla covered her ears and waited for her daughter to stop.

Lucy stopped and cried. “I can’t do this...”

Layla bowed down to her. “Well let’s practice everyday.” Lucy nodded and they continue with their voice lessons.

Everyday, Layla taught Lucy to improve her voice very well. After she developed it at the age of four, Layla began to teach her playing many instruments. They let her go to school, Lucy became friends with anyone. She felt happy in her early life.

But when Lucy was at the age of seven, one tragic night happened, the day she could never ever forget...

The Heartfilias were going out of a hotel, and then a huge crowd of reporters were waiting for them to come out.

 “Look it’s Layla Starlock!” One reporter said. The family looked at the crowd. And they began to say ‘It’s her! Long seven years!’ ‘We have found her! At last!’

They hurriedly went to their car parking in the parking lot, in front of the hotel. Jude get his keys and drive away from the crowd.

“How did they find me?! And even remembered me?!” Layla screeched.

“Mama what’s happening? We’ll be okay?”

Then a car was chasing behind them. On the front seat, sits Layla’s company president that she had worked for before, Jose Porla. He showed his face out on the window and screamed. “COME BACK HERE LAYLA!”

“JUDE FASTER!” Layla said and he followed her. Until then...  Layla and Jude’s eyes widened and Lucy screamed. Their car was out of their control and... Their car went down the road and splashed on the water.

‘Lucy!’ Layla and Jude screamed in their heads as they saw Lucy going down on the ground. They swam to her and then they swam back at the top. They gasped for air. Jose and his car were already gone. As Layla and Jude went to the shore near where their car accident happened.

They gasped for air as they reached the shore. They knew that they had no chance, to be with their daughter anymore.  So the couples hold their hands and smiled at Lucy who was lying on the ground unconsciously, and then their eyes started to close and they murmured the last words. “We love you, Lucy.”

And they died.

The ambulance crew went to them just in time and check their pulse. They’re not breathing. But as they checked Lucy’s pulse, they said it that she was still alive. So they bought the three to the hospital. When Lucy woke up...

“Where’s my mom and dad?! Where are they?” Lucy cried. An old woman went to her.

“Shhh it’s alright.” She hugged her.

“Who are you lady?” Lucy said between her sniffs.

The old woman chuckled at her. “I am Agusa Starlock. Your mother’s mother, which means I’m your grandmother.”

Lucy’s eyes sparkled. “Really? I have a grandmother?”

The old woman chuckled feeling happy that her granddaughter’s sadness has gone. “That’s right.” They felt a compatible connection and from that on, there was someone for Lucy to have to talk to.

Just then when the years go by, the more happiness that came between them. But Agusa had become weak. When Lucy has turned to 18 years old...

“Grandma! You can’t die please! I’ll do anything for you! Just please don’t die!” Lucy pleaded as her tears began to flow, her grandmother was in a hospital bed and many dextrose was connected to her parts of her body.

“I-I can’t...” She said. “Lucy... Before... I...”

“No!” Lucy said sobbing. “I will work harder than ever! Please!”

“I want you to be happy... “

“But your my happiness!”

She shook her head. “No... I am but I will always be at your heart., to make you happy.”

“Now go and... Be a...” She began to close her eyes and smiled like she saw heaven. “Star...”

Ting~.

“NO! NO! THIS CAN’T BE!” Lucy cried even more and the doctors let her go out of the room and they pumped her if there were chances. But there wasn’t any more...

And then she met the Eucliffe family once again, which they are relatives of her mother and they decided to adopt Lucy, they let her lived there in their house, treated each other like family and treated Sting Eucliffe as her older brother.

She decided to enter a school named Seoul Star : School of Arts, where you only study for three years of acting, singing and dancing, and also there were regular classes as college students. And you can become an instant star as people started to view your performance through the internet or live when there is a school activity.

One of them is Lucy. During her first debut, singing OPEN THE GATE, she became an instant success. Many are already fans of her, so she got a manager, a company and a worldwide concert tour for one year.

There are other schools who tried to compete but this school is the best for a very long time.

Yes thank you grandma... You, mom and dad are my happiness inside my heart, my inspirations. Lucy thought as she sang another song in the stage where millions of people are waiting for her to sing.

Correction, the worldwide concert thing, I decided to make it one year instead of two, for those who’ve read the prologue.
