The next morning, Kevin and Barbara were sleeping in. They were inside the large sleeping bag, Barbara laying on top of Kevin, cuddling on to him. Kevin woke up, slowly opening his eyes. Once he saw Barbara cuddling on top of him, he smiled. He thought about what to do today. Maybe they could go hiking and he could propose to Barbara while doing that. "Yeah, that'll work," thought Kevin. Barbara then stirred, slowly waking up. "Mmm..." she slowly moaned, yawning. She slowly opened her eyes, and smiled at Kevin. "Morning," she said. "Morning to you too," replied Kevin as he kissed her. Once they both got up, Kevin cooked breakfast. He made sausage and eggs, a hearty meal for the two.

While they ate, Kevin asked, "Hey Barbara, how would you like to go hiking today?" Barbara swallowed some of her sausage and said, "Sure. I brought my hiking boots with me." Kevin smiled and said, "Awesome. Let's do it in the afternoon." Once breakfast was finished, Kevin and Barbara got cleaned up and dressed into some hiking clothes. Soon, it was 12 o'clock, and the couple decided to start hiking. Because she had been to Higgins Lake plenty of times, Barbara guided Kevin to the forest and mountains. Kevin had the proposal ring in the pocket of his cargo shorts. As he and Barbara hiked, they would take turns drinking water in order to stay hydrated. They kept on hiking for thirty minutes, and they were in the middle, when they suddenly found an unusual sight. It was a sword in the stone. But the sword looked like it was not of this earth. "What the?" Kevin asked in surprise, "A sword?"

"That's strange, I've never seen a sword in the stone here," said Barbara. "Maybe they're doing a Renaissance fair?" Kevin asked, trying to justify the fact that there was a sword. "I've been to Higgins Lake plenty of times, Kev." Barbara stated, "they don't do Renaissance fairs here. Besides, King Arthur discovered Excalibur before the Renaissance happened. And that sword looks... Otherworldly..." Kevin walked towards the sword. "You're right, it does look otherworldly," said Kevin, "it'd make for a good picture souvenir, eh?" Barbara rolled her eyes and chuckled. She got out her cell phone and said, "Alright, smile for the camera." Kevin touched the sword handle and did a kingly pose. Barbara took a picture of Kevin. Kevin then lifted the sword, and the sword came out of the stone, much to both Kevin and Barbara's surprise. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," chuckled Kevin as Barbara took another picture. Suddenly, bolts of thunder and lightning came out of nowhere.

Kevin looked at the thunderbolts and lightning, and then one of the lightning bolts struck the sword, letting out some mysterious energy out of the sword. More sparks of this mysterious energy came out of the sword and started spreading around Kevin's arm, then it spread onto the rest of his body, then this mysterious magical energy started to spread around Kevin, covering him from head to toe. This concerned Barbara. "Kevin??" she asked, "what's happening to you?!?!?!??" Suddenly Kevin's body shape started to change. He started to get taller, like around 6'5. He started to become muscular, about as muscular as Superman. And his hair got longer. Soon the mysterious energy then uncovered the transformed Kevin, revealing his new appearance. His skin looked like it was out in the sun a little more often, his light brown hair was now a long blond, his eyes were a brighter blue, and his clothes were the armor of a barbarian warrior.

"By the Power of Grayskull, He-Man lives again!!!" the warrior shouted, his voice sounding more like Chris Hemsworth. "He-Man" looked at his surroundings, looked at Barbara, and confusedly asked, "Teela?" Barbara frowned and got out one of her Batarangs. "Who are you, and what have you done to Kevin?!?!?!?!!" she demanded, glaring at He-Man. "Oh, the vessel?" He-Man asked, "Oh... Right; fear not mortal, the human vessel you call Kevin is safe in my sword. What planet am I on? This does not look like Eternia." Barbara growled, "You're on Earth. And if you don't release Kevin right now, you're gonna get an ass kicking, Fabian! And who the hell is Teela?!?!?!?!" He-Man raised his hands in defense and protested, "I am not your enemy. And I do not wish to fight you. I will give you Kevin. And all will be explained." He-Man then raised his sword and said, "Let the power return." Lightning then struck the sword, and the mysterious energy returned, covering He-Man. His body shape shrunk back to Kevin's size, and Kevin turned back to normal.

"What just happened??" Kevin asked, confused. "Kevin!" Barbara said as she dropped her Batarang and hugged him, "I thought I lost you..." Kevin hugged back, "I feel like I was in another world entirely. As if I was in an out of body experience... The Sword... It's like it's talking to me... It's as if it's telling me something... I don't know what it is, but this sword may be more important than I thought."
