Alaina was still working on patients, and she was completely focused on what she was doing that she didn't notice that her brother was behind her until he pulled her into his arms and she cried in Relief at seeing her big brother walk through those door and she hugged him tightly, And he hugged her just as Tightly and held her close, rubbed her back and then she headed back to work so she could help her co-workers and treat patients as best as she could right now and find her best friend Will Halstead, hopefully unharmed and helping treat patients like she was.

She saw Will's phone ringing on the ground by her feet and the Caller ID said," Jay Halstead. she didn't know what to do, so she puts Will's phone on the counter and heads back to work.

 what she didn't know was that Will's brother Jay Halstead, was now panicking because Will wasn't answering his phone, and he is now Crazy worried about his little brother, Will and was now scared that something happened to Will and He wasn't wrong about that. Will is injured and knocked out and she was unaware her best friend was injured and continued treating patients.

 With The Intelligence Unit

Jay was frantically calling his little brother and he was not getting any answers and become worried until he saw Kevin coming out of the hospital and he asked," Is Will alright, Kev? Did you see him? is he safe and sound? Please tell me something, Kevin, I'm really worried about Will. Will is my baby brother and He is the best little brother Ever. I can't lose him, Kevin. I can't.

Kevin puts his hands on Jay's shoulders and said," no, I haven't seen him. I didn't know you a brother and I promise you that I will find out what happened to your little brother, okay, bro?

Jay said," Thank you, Kevin. I appreciate you doing this for me. He's the only thing that matters to me and I will not rest until I know That My little brother is safe and sound and that he is okay. 

Kevin said," I understand how you feel because My twin sister Alaina means a lot to me as well.

They continued with the Police  investigation, and It turned into a harder day for Jay because all he wanted was for Little Brother Will to be safe and sound and hopefully completely unharmed. 

He went inside the hospital when he was done with Work and looked around for his brother before a doctor saw him and waved him over and he walked over to the doctor that waved him over and said Politely," Hi, I'm Detective Jay Halstead, Will's older brother and he started here today. I was wondering, do you know where I can find him and is he okay? I'm really worried about him.

Doctor A. Logan said," He was hurt in the Explosion of the hospital and he was injured badly. He has broken his right leg, he also broke his left arm, 4 broken ribs and dislocated his left shoulder. But he should be alright in the morning. He's in treatment 5 if you want to see him, Detective Halstead.

Jay Halstead," Thank you doctor. I appreciate everything you did today, thank you so much, Dr. have a good evening and I'm going to see my brother now. I'm exhausted and want to sleep. 

Dr, A. Logan said," You're welcome, Detective Halstead and have a good evening to you as well.

Jay nodded and headed to the room where Will was to see if he was awake and when he got there He sat down in the chair next to Will's bed and Held Will's left hand and fall asleep.

With Kevin and Alaina at the Atwater house

Kevin was making dinner and Alaina showered and changed into her PJ's and headed downstairs and 2-year-old Vinessa and 5 -year-old Jordan come downstairs to eat dinner.

The siblings eat dinner together and they all cleaned up the table and Kevin putted Vinessa to bed While Alaina putted Jordan to bed and she sent Will a text message, saying that she hopes he is okay and that if he is not okay, she will be praying for him to heal soon and she misses him.

she heads to her room and plugs in her phone so that it can charge and she slips underneath the covers and falls asleep just as Kevin checks on her and upon seeing her asleep, he smiles at her and closes her door. 

He then heads to his room and he slips underneath the covers and falls asleep in bed.

The Next Morning at Chicago Med

Will was beginning to wake up and he didn't notice that Jay was just waking up and He went to pull the chest tube out when Two hands stopped him and he looked up and he saw his big brother Jay standing  over him, holding his hands and Will hugged Jay and Jay hugged him before helping him lay back down in the hospital bed and Jay asked," How are you, little Bro?

Will honestly answered," I feel like I have been punched in the gut and It hurts to move. I also have a cast on my right leg and left arm, so that's not fun and I also have an Overprotective big brother to deal with, so there's that. and besides, I'm letting your sight ever, Am I, Big Brother?

Jay said," Nope, I'm not letting you out of my sight ever, little brother. and I will stay with you to help you recover and don't say no to me otherwise, you will be in trouble, William Halstead.

Will said," Okay big brother, when can we go home and rest? I want to head home, Big bro.

Dr. A. Logan said," You can go home today if you would like, Dr. Halstead. he hands Jay the discharge papers and he signs them right away and takes Will home and helps Will to bed before leaving the door open in case he needed something and he watched TV in the Living room
