•C1|A Mistake
•Kevin•
Wind whirled through the boy's clothes. It whipped at his hair, nipped at his cheeks. Kevin stepped out of the open door, taking in the outside. He surveyed the area, eyebrows furrowed, eyes narrow with a bitter hatred for the world. A rock skidded across the driveway as Kevin kicked it with his dirtied sneaker. A burst of air flowed through his nose as he sighed. That's when he spotted them.
The Eds.
Three dorks with brains the size of peanuts. Except Double D of course. Double D thinks too much, Eddy only thinks about scams and jawbreakers, and Ed doesn't think at all.
They were pretty much the same to Kevin though. All he knew is that they were dorks. And he, was not.
Kevin watched them pass down the sidewalk with a nasty glare. He smirked a bit to himself, he didn't have much to do today. Maybe he'd follow them, give them a little scare. His lip curled even farther when he spotted his bike. Kevin dashed over to the bike, which was on it's side laying in the grass. As he got in the seat and adjusted the handlebars, he glanced to the sky. Darkened clouds were gathering over the hills.
"Perfect..." Kevin thought, chasing them in the rain sure would be fun. He started on his way, following the Eds, being careful to not be seen.

It wasn't long before Kevin had to stop. The boys had entered an alley way. By the sounds of it, they were building. Kevin winced as he heard Eddy's loud and obnoxious voice pummel his ear drums from the other side of the fence.
"No Ed!! The sign is upside-down! Like this!"
"Sorry Eddy!!!!"
It was quite a commotion. Kevin slid his fingers down the wood of the fence. It was separating someone's yard from the street, and right around the corner were all three dorks. Kevin peeked through cracks in the wooden fence to find his perfect moment.
"Eddy... I don't think this is a good idea. I mean, look at the cloud accumulation. There's sure to be a storm quite soon!" Kevin heard Double D complain.
"Oh knock it off. This will be great! We'll be pullin' in people so fast, they won't even notice it's raining!!" Eddy replied.
"But I really don't think-"
Eddy cut him off, "No! You do this every time. Just trust me, okay?" Eddy begged. The hammering had stopped. Through the hole, Kevin could see a poorly put together stand where they were asking for money in exchange for advice.
Kevin decided to go around the back to scare them. He mounted his bike and made his way around the block. Do these dweebs do anything else with their time? Why does Double D and Ed stick around Eddy? He's bossy. Ed doesn't really know any better... Hey! Why should I care? They're just dorks. Let them suffer.
Kevin thought. As he rounded the first corner, a small growl of thunder pushed through the clouds. Tiny drops of rain pelted on the apshalt in front of the teen. It quickly began to hit him too. Little spots formed on his green shirt where he was being hit by the rain. A truck zoomed past on the street.
Just a bit further... Gosh I'm gonna get 'em good! They'll pee their pants.

There it was. Kevin's perfect opportunity. He was down the alley way from the three boys. They had their backs to him. It had been pouring by now, everyone outside was soaked. The Ed's sign was crooked and falling off their stand now, Double D seemed to be hanging his head, Eddy was shaking with excitement, and Ed was waving to the cars passing by. None of which stopped. Kevin rolled his eyes. How lame of them to think that would work.
Well, they'll get what's coming.
Kevin tiled back on his bike until he was nearly in a wheelie. He burst forward with a kick of his feet. He was speeding through the alley, heading straight for their stand.
"RRRAAAAAAAWWWRRR!!!" Kevin screeched.
"Ahh! Kevin!!" Eddy yelled. He quickly shoved his stand aside, shielding it from Kevin. Ed started to run and so did Double D. Kevin was almost upon them now.
Then, it all went horribly wrong. Kevin could only watch as his bike hit Eddy's shoe and flew forward, causing Edd and Ed to dash forward, running from the incoming bike. Double D ran into the road, trailing Ed. Kevin slammed the breaks on his bike, veering over the handlebars and landing on the concrete.
Double D turned around, concern in his eyes, "Kevin? Are you al-" Kevin watched in absolute terror as Double D was struck by a car. Screams escaped all the boy's mouths.
Kevin had gone too far. He ran to Double D, who was now crumpled in the street, covered in blood, dirt and rain. A wave of relief washed over Kevin as he saw he was still breathing.
"I-I...I.." Kevin stammered.
"Just get out of here!!" Eddy screamed, "You're such a bully! Now look what you've done to my friend! Leave!!"
The woman who had hit Double D got out of her car, crying. She dialed 911.
Kevin's heart throbbed.
What had he done...?
