Chapter Five
Now... Do remember way back when I mentioned about that mansion or house. That the family got murdered in and stuff.
You might wanna go back and check, or just continue reading on.
If you continued reading on then you were paying attention which is good. Cause it's a key part for you to enjoy the story and get lost in the story and not in your head.
Now, back to the mansion. If you walked down the street you'll see it standing, perfectly still, like .
The once perfect white and bright house, had taken on a merely gray color, covered with ivy and all sorts of vining plants that won't show a single flower.
The front yard remains untrimmed causing the brown grass to become a tall field that looks like wheat. With tall trees of weeds and various other autotrophs showing patches of green that seemed all too good to be true.
The mansion's roof had starting growing moss on it as well as mold from it being intake care of for so long.
If you stepped inside, the whole mansion will envelop you in dread and it's mytersious factors. But the smell of rotting and iron from blood will fill your nostrils and leave a bitter taste on your tongue.
I bet you wondering, Why is there blood?
But if you had paid attention, which I told you was key.
Then you would remember the family that was murdered here, at the mansion.
Now, if you enter the very large living room splattered with blood stains and dust. You would see a fireplace that was once like a great dragon roaring with flames. Above the fireplace was a a portrait of the family which was dull in it colors, and covered in a layer of dust as well. The portrait of which the family parts of which it seemed as though someone had torn it, causing the painted canvas to drape over in folds.
If you made your way upstairs, it lead to the many bedrooms and bathrooms the house had.
But at the far end of the hallway on the room to your right, is a playroom filled with toys that once brightful and lively children once played with instead of now, to where the toys are like a headstone of once now dead childhood that was never fully lived through.
But if you looked out the window you would see a garden of which a woman sat drinking her tea while enjoying a fine book of Shakespeare's famous literature, as her husband read the newspaper, and the children were playing games such as Tag, Hide-and-go-seek, and maybe even Red Rover.
But now the garden became a lifeless place of which remains silent almost as though it's reflecting the lifeless sky that is hanging over the overgrown weeded garden.
But you feel as though something is watching you. So when you press your head forward more against the window you would see a rabbit. White with black spots.
But that was also what was seen before well... the Kerry family, of which the street was named after, was murdered.
