Betrayed

Shrieks and yowls roared through Midnightflower's ears. Many of her Clan mates were being toppled over by powerful RiverClan warriors. RiverClan, her birth Clan, was attacking due to Midnightflower's switch to WindClan.
A RiverClan warrior bowled her over and clawed at her side. She kicked him in the stomach, but the tom was too big. She then recognized the tom as it held her paws down.
"Troutpelt?" She asked. "Troutpelt, it's me! Your sister!"
It was no use, his eyes were filled with hatred and rage, no room for love or sorrow.
Right before Troutpelt could end Midnightflower's life, a flash of sandy gray fur toppled him over.
"Sandstone!" Midnightflower gasped with relief to see her mate.
"Run!" He said, aiming blows at Troutpelt's muzzle.
Midnightflower scrambled to her paws and ran around the battle. A russet she cat stopped her.
"Mother!" Midnightflower gasped. "Please forgive me!"
"How can I forgive my only daughter that decided to join my most hated Clan?" She hissed, ears flattened.
Midnightflower stepped back in horror. Her own mother was threatening her. Suddenly, Midnightflower fell into a flashback.
"Catch me if you can!" Troutkit squeaked as he ran across the camp clearing.
Midnightkit ran to his side and knocked him to the ground.
"Got you!" She squealed in delight. "My turn to be the mouse!"
Midnightkit turned tail and galloped to the other end of the clearing, by the reeds. She leaped into the reeds and crouched down.
"And where do you think you are young one?" A voice boomed behind her.
Midnightkit jumped in surprise and whipped around to see her father, Oakstar.
"Hi!" She meowed as she nuzzled her father.
"Hello, Midnightkit." He meowed in return. "Do you know where you are?"
Midnightkit looked around. All she saw was a canopy of tall reeds and a sandy floor. "No."
"You're in my den, the leader's den." He purred. "Maybe one day you'll follow in my footsteps and sleep in here."
"Really?" She mewed excitedly.
Oakstar purred with amusement. "Yes my little warrior. You should go back to your mother, she'll be worried about you."
Midnightflower snapped back to reality with the horrified expression still plastered upon her face. Her mother was still in front of her, growling. Then she went into another flashback.
"Oakstar! Oakstar don't leave me!" Midnightpaw heard her mother's yowls from the leaders den. Midnightpaw pushed her way into the reeds to see her father laying beside her mother. She stood by, petrified.
"Do not worry, Flamesky, I will always be in your heart. Tell our kits that I love them dearly. I love you Flamesky..." His voice trailed off as he inhaled his last breath and exhaled it slowly. Flamesky threw her head into his fur.
"Oakstar no..."
Midnightflower came back to reality. She stepped back, turned tail, and ran. She ran into the heat of battle, completely unaware of the blood-spilling fighting roaring all around her.
Only then she stopped in front of a sandy gray warrior laying in a pool of blood. A gray and white patched tom stood in front of the warrior, blood spilling from his claws.
"Sandstone no!" She gasped. "Troutpelt! W-why?"
"You betrayed me, so know it's my turn." He growled. Troutpelt leaped at the grief stricken she cat. He had her pinned as he bit into her throat.
"Tr-tr-traitor." Midnightflower managed to sputter as darkness surrounded her.
