Maliea POV...

"Maliea! Maliea! Come on get up! It's our first day of school! " Somebody shook me. "Five more minutes Kenny please.." I groaned, turning on my side. Thump Thump Thump! My bed shook. I opened my eyes to see Kenny jumping on my bed while smiling at me. "I'm up you dingus!" I threw a pillow at him while he threw one back. We both started laughing, soon wheezing then realizing we needed to get ready for school. I climbed down the bunk bed stairs, I started to get ready, throwing clothes onto the floor out of the hamper in the bathroom. Found it. I threw on a white buttoned-up crop top, along with black leggings to go with it. I admired myself in the mirror before Kenny came barging into the bathroom trying to brush his teeth quickly. I speed walk to the kitchen downstairs, grabbing a toaster waffle and munching on it. I grab my backpack from the counter that my mom had gotten me before she went with Kenny's dad on a military assignment away from home. "Kenny let's go!" Kenny soon came down pushing past me to grab the waffles from the freezer and forcing them into the toaster. I chuckled at him trying to rush to not be late for the bus. "House keys?" Kenny asked me, waiting for an answer. I jiggled the house keys in front of him nodding. "Let's go then." He let me out first, then closed the door behind him. Kenny put in his headphones and started to dance. I didn't mind at all, he would do this all the time in grocery stores, the mall, basically anywhere. What I didn't expect was the bus pulled right in front of us as he really got into it. "Kenny." I nudged him at the sight of a yellow bus soon approaching us. He kept dancing, not hearing my warning.
