We had gotten on the bus, but that didn't stop the laughter and staring from the other kids. Specifically a group of boys sitting in the middle row of seats. "Cool moves! What do you call that? The loser limbo?" The curly-haired boy glanced at Kenny and shouted. Laughter erupted and my anger was almost boiling over. Then another boy with messy dark brown hair, made the laughter die down for a split second. "No no, I think it's called the uh I'm trying not to shit my pants dance!" I thought he was gonna say something nice but guess not. I glanced over at Kenny, almost ready to start crying. I had to say something. "Oh, what will I give to have a mute button on you guys Jesus? Leave him alone." I snickered back trying to remain calm. "What, are you his spokesperson?" The group laughed. "No, but this isn't one of those cringey-ass Disney movies where the bullies make fun of the new kid. Buzz off him will ya? Sometimes I wish people came with a remote control so it's easier to shut their pathetic big-headed mouths." I shrugged and mimicked pressing the mute button on a remote, taking the spot next to Kenny, while other kids erupted into laughter. "You just got roasted by a girl dude!" An older kid at the back of the bus screamed out. I turned around again to see the curly-haired kid had his mouth wide open looking at me. "Close your mouth, flies will get in there and you'll choke on them," I whispered to Kenny, making him silently chuckle while tears escaped out of sadness. "Don't cry, they're stupid." I wiped them away pulling out my phone and opening Dungeon Lords, mine and Kenny's favorite game we played all summer long. I let him play on my phone until we got to school. Paper balls would be thrown at my back now and then by the annoying little fucks that were picking on Kenny, or at least tried to. Every time that would happen I would use my fast reflexes to catch it straight in my hand. I turned around after the last one was thrown. Their eyes widened at the sight of me staring right into their souls, never breaking eye contact. "Listen here you little shits, keep throwing those and I'll shove them right up all your-" The bus suddenly came to a stop, I looked out the window we're here. I turned around and waited for that dumbass curly-haired kid to come up with a weak insult. "Larusso say something back to her!" That's his name? He just stood there, blushing at me. "He's got nothing to say because he's admiring me," I smirked over at him. "Come on Kenny, see you zoomers later, bye Larusso." I pull on Kenny's shoulder and we jumped off the bus laughing at how stupid that Larusso kid looked when he saw me. Let's just say me and Kenny got lost trying to find the office. "Hey uh excuse me?" a girl turned around with a smile. "Do you happen to know where the front office is?" Kenny asked her while staring into her eyes. "Yeah! It's down the hall and take a right!" I nodded looking at Kenny once more. "Alright, thanks so much!" I gave her a quick smile and had to physically pull him away from her. After a while of looking around for the office, we managed to find it and grab our class schedules. "Gym first period?" I asked him, looking down at mine, ready to groan at the fact most of my classes were without Kenny. "Surprisingly yes this time, come on let's go." We practically ran to the gym, not knowing it was about to welcome us.
